Stopped in for an early dinner after checking out Canal Street Nights (yeah, we were on the early side for that.) I had the Club Elvis: shredded pork, gouda, bacon, crisp fried onions and Fish's Gold BBQ sauce (gold in color, sweet and fruity, a nice balance to all the pork). Just delicious. Side was a bag of kettle chips. I also had one of my wife's Pork Tacos, which were not as flavorful as the sandwich. Stopped in at Yellow Dog Eats NSB and had the Smokey's Salmon BLT -- hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! The smoked salmon, thick bacon, fresh tomato, arugula, goat cheese, and that lemon-caper aioli all came together perfectly. Every bite was packed with flavor and just felt fresh and satisfying. The vibe here is fun and laid-back, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked (always a plus!), and Mackenzie and her staff were absolutely top shelf -- friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home. Yellow Dog Eats is hands down our favorite restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, we've been loyal fans for years! We recently stopped for a quick snack sharing the Flavor Bomb #2 with tri-color chips and a side of that incredible pulled pork. Seriously the pulled pork is melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Yellow Dog was recommended by a local resident that invited us to go to the beach and watch the Launch of a self guided Rocket. I ordered a Twisted Tuna Sandwich served on whole grain brown bread, and it came with a side of Coleslaw. The sandwich was very tasty. The coleslaw was a little sweet for my taste, but it was very fresh and did not taste bad. My friend ordered the same with unsweetened iced tea, but got only water. That aside, everything else was very good. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone with a dog and a healthy lifestyle to enjoy this establishment! read more

Loved the unique queso add ins! We ordered the one with pineapple and absolutely loved it! Entrees were good as well. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich on sourdough and my husband got the tacos. What a cool spot! After a day at the beach, my husband and I stopped into Yellow Dog Eats for a quick bite. The service is friendly and FAST. The food was out of this world. I really enjoyed my visit here. And for so many reasons; for starters it's located right down the street from the beach access. I love the ever inviting bright red door which initially caught my eye. It didn't take long to learn hey're dog friendly which they take seriously so all are welcome. The staff was super friendly with it being my first visit and gave great recommendations. I also peeped around me to see what others were munching on and everything looked great. I went with the pork tacos which filled me with happiness and contentment in all the best ways. They were playing SpongeBob on the tv by the bar which made me smile and feel right at home. I did not get the chance to walk out back but based on the pictures it looks like doggy heaven. Food was very good and portions were large. Vegetarian nachos were wonderful and had some surprises with the addition of sweet potato and carrots, it all came together so wonderfully. Hokey Pokey tacos were fresh and flavor was nice, would get them without the cream cheese next time and a warm tortilla would have been nice but the tuna was fresh and marinated beautifully. We were a group of 10 and we arrived at 8pm on a Saturday after a day at the beach. Little did we know, they close at 9pm so it was kind of them to let us know that last call for kitchen was at 8:40. During a recent day trip to New Smyrna Beach, I searched the Yelp app for a fast casual eatery with amber assortment of vegetarian options. I was pleased to find one of my favorite sandwich places - Yellow Dog Eats - right on Canal St. We were seated indoors quickly. (More seating appears to be located outside than inside) and Samantha, our server, arrived after a few minutes. Because my wife and I had scanned the menu ahead of time, we chose the Vegetarian Nachos and the Sweet Potato Tico Tacos. Both selections were loaded with flavor. The nachos combined heat with sweet along with the salty nacho chips. A couple months later we returned and ordered the Nachos again! And they were just as good. I ordered the Yellow Dog Club for change up from my usual ordering and was pleased with the amount of turkey and Gouda combined with the crunchy-ness of the bacon and cucumber. What took the sandwich up a notch, in my opinion, was the orange Cointreau Mayo! I had no idea this condiment existed but it was the perfect underlying ingredient that pulled everything together. We chose the locally made carrot cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cake-to-icing ratio was perfect with a not-too-sweet finish. The size of the cake was big enough to share. Samantha did a nice job of keeping contact with us, in spite of being busy. We had a leisurely dinner as a result and that suited us well. It was obvious that YDE was understaffed, so keep that in mind for your visit. I'm looking forward to our next visit and ordering those Nachos again! When a menu has a whole page dedicated to pulled pork, you order the pulled pork! So I got the pulled pork salad. It was the most flavorful salad I've ever had. And they aren't stingy with the amount of meat they give you either! I was full! I wanted to try their fig jam which is on a sandwich so I asked to try it. I highly recommend getting whatever is on special for the month or weekend. This August they are running a unique hot dog combo. I would have never tried those toppings on my own and it totally works. Get it as is and you won't great it, plus it's super filling! This weekend in August l, they have a shark bite appetizer special. DIVINE! Full of flavor and good value for what you got. I almost had to steal the plate from my 9yr, so I could get a taste. If you order any of their nachos, plan to share! It's ample food for at least 2 people to make a meal. Once again I just love the creativity of the dishes that we've tried so far.
