Small fry, the Rudy and the 305.
    Shannon Y.

The subs were amazing! It's very casual inside with plenty of seating. It was $50 for both of us. We had the 305, the Ruby and a small fry with 2 sodas. There was so much food that we could have split just 1 sub but glad we had two different ones to try. It was absolutely worth it and will be back to try different ones!

    Lunch!

This little place is amazing! We stopped in while enjoying a weekend on the beach in NSB. We walked in and immediately thought how funky and cute the place is. After making our way to the counter, we realized just how nice the staff is. The guy working the register was honestly so nice and took the time to explain their awesome place and their menu. There were several items that sounded delicious and that makes it quite difficult to pick! We ended up sharing their "famous" cesar salad... crispy and fresh romaine lettuce, delicious croutons, perfectly tangy dressing, and topped with micro-planed egg and Parmesan cheese. YUM! We also shared their amazing house made pastrami sandwich. Perfection is the only word! We also shared a side of their fries since they looked amazing. They offer a really special and delicious malt vinegar aioli for dipping. I'm still thinking about this sauce. They serve beer and wine - and even had a fabulous orange wine from Spain I enjoyed a cold glass of. We absolutely loved our lunch here and cannot wait to return when we're in the area.

    The Belafonte and Boardwalk Fries

PACO Submarine is the perfect spot to grab sandwiches before or after the beach!! I ordered the Belafonte, which is their take on a BLTA. I also got some Boardwalk fries, because I cannot resist fries. I loveddd the sandwich so much, it was the perfect post-beach lunch. I could tell the fries were fresh and made in house. SO good. Make sure to grab some of the malt sauce -- soooo yummy. The owner said they just mix mayo with malt vinegar! It's a must. Speaking of the owner, he was so kind! We had a group of 6 with 2 babies and he came from behind the counter and asked two guys to move over so that we could all sit together. Then he brought high chairs for the little ones. All the staff were so friendly! The shop is order at the counter style and has a long bench with tables and chairs on the other side. There is another room with more seating if the main room is full. Highly recommend checking out PACO! I want to go back and try everything -- including their specials!

    What is in the LUPO
    Kim L.

Asked my grandson for a good place for a quick lunch and he didn't hesitate to suggest Paco Submarine. Although, since he is a transplanted Mainer he did say they were Italian sandwiches. We walked in and were greeted warmly, and our order was under way in minutes. I went for a BLT and Wayne opted for the special LUPO sandwich - I think he won but it was a close contest. The BLT was amazingly flavorful but super messy - and I really should remember that house smoked bacon - although the flavor was out of this world - is also more thick than I generally like it. Bread, sauces, fresh tomatoes and avocados were all exquisite. The LUPO was lunch meat, LTO, pistachio and sauces - also really great - in retrospect we probably should have ordered one sandwich and shared - but this way we gifted our other two halves of leftovers as we were headed out of town. Oh, the fries were crispy and salty and hot and do I need to say more! All good, reasonable and super fresh. The space is teeny, but well-decorated, clean and kinda fun.

    Caesar salad

While searching for some new places to try in NSB, I came across this restaurant. The photos of their sandwiches and fries looked promising. We got there a little after 5pm. A little early for dinner time. There were a few customers sitting outside, but we had the inside to ourselves. They guys working the counter were helpful and friendly. I ordered the Whaler and some of their beef tallow fries. My dad got the Rudy which had shaved ribeye with mushrooms, onions, and peppers. We also shared their small Caesar salad, which was still a pretty large portion with plenty to share. The salad was so good! Their dressing was amazing and it was topped with shredded Parmesan and fresh anchovies. Really one of the better Caesar salad's I've had. The fries were perfect. They are freshly cut slices of potato, not a bag of frozen store bought fries. I dipped the fries in their malt sauce, which complemented the fries well. My sandwich was also really good. The Whaler had dill brined chicken and homemade thick cut bacon. It was really flavorful. They don't skimp on the fillings either. We both only finished half of our sandwiches and boxed the other half to go. Everything tasted really fresh, flavorful, but not greasy. This place makes some killer sandwiches, and I'll definitely be back.

You order at the register, they give you a number & you pick where you want to sit. Casual ambience with some reggae surfer type music. Looks like a local go to place. You can see them cook your food and it was quick. Food is flavorful so expect your palette to get hit with various seasonings. Will return

I hate Pacos. This place completely ruined sandwiches for me. I can't go anywhere else. Nothing else compares. I thought I found the best sandwich ever and then I tried a different one on the same Pacos menu. Great place, great service, great food. Screw you Paco's.

Dude, this place is AMAZING! I'd give more stars if I could. Probably the best ceasar salad I've ever had. The sandwiches were crazy good, especially loved the Whaler. Definitely going back!

The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. Beautiful layering of banana jam (think banana foster), pudding, wafers and whip cream. Great end to the meal! We will be back...maybe even twice on trip!
