I was so excited to try the new crispy chicken sandwich. I drove over in the pouring rain. I ordered three of them to go as well as six cheeseburgers. I had to wait on the side for them to be made and brought out to the car. They were presented in a thick envelope style packaging with the foil interior. I opened it to take a look at it. It looked dry. I actually took it apart to see that it was only a bun with a coated chicken breast and two pickles. I was shocked! Did they forget to put the sauce on? I went and looked at one of the other chicken sandwiches that I had bought, hoping it was a mistake. Nothing! It was just as dry. The sandwich was hot, but definitely not crispy. I couldn't get it down without anything on it. Way too dry. I ended up finding a ketchup packet that I had stored in the glove compartment. The sandwich is a big disappointment The fact that it needed something added in order to get it down is terrible. There is no comparison with Popeyes. I liked the buttered roll, but it just didn't matter because everything else was just mediocre at best. McDonald's, you either need to give people a sauce on the sandwich or give them packets of something to put on it. McDonald's, open early on a Friday morning - drove through and picked up hashed browns (consistent), hot cakes & sausage (these have gotten thinner over the years), and the hot glazed pull-apart donut (meh). Drive-thru was reasonably quick. Ice tea was cold, and the hot chocolate was hot. All pretty normal for a McD's. I just went to the drive thru on Connecticut Ave in Norwalk, CT on 9/12/18 at 4am, ordered 3x hashbrowns. I wasn't sure what the total was so I gave the employee at the window $7.00 expecting change. I received $0.75 in change only to later find out that the hashbrowns are $1.00 each. I asked for the receipt and the employee said that their receipt printer was not working, and that I should wait around for another 25 minutes. I saw that noone else was working then so I just left to go home. I am thoroughly irate about the customer service at this place as a customer service rep myself! read more

BY FAR THE WORST MCDONALDS EVER. i specifically said THREE times that i was picking up my online order and then placing a separate order. shouldnt be that difficult to do. the person on the speaker said it was fine and clarified that she had the correct understanding of what i was doing. the online order was already paid for but the mcdonalds claimed that they somehow canceled it when my card was already charged. when i got to the window they charged me AGAIN for something that was already paid for refused to give me a refund or give me the food that i already paid for. we asked for the manager who blamed us for the order being canceled when on my end it said it still existed and was paid for. my card was charged twice i was FURIOUS. i mentioned to the "manager" that i was going to call the police if they wouldn't properly give me a refund or the food i asked for. they were acting like the food comes out of their own paycheck. they finally gave me a refund to the card they charged at the window but it never showed up on my statement so i don't think they canceled it. i'm debating taking legal action to this, which is dumb because it was $4 worth of food but i was treated so awfully the person deserves to get fired. i work in the food business and we all know the customer is ALWAYS right. mistakes happen obviously at restaurants especially fast food. but when it comes to refusing to give me a refund for things i was charged for but never got or not giving me the item that i paid for, that's where the problem is. i have since tried calling mcdonalds to speak to a manager about the situation. i would appreciate this getting fixed because i still have not received my refund that they claimed they did. i felt awful for holding up the line for like ten minutes when i was fighting for my money back, but i wasn't leaving till it was made right. to be treated so awfully by another human just because i'm younger than them isn't okay read more

Decent as McDonald's go, but if you use their drive-thru, be sure to check your order carefully. We have experienced at least one missing or wrong item on about 20% of our visits.
