I once went to this McDonald's. Thought it was supposed to be "fast" food. I was wrong. It took almost 2 hours just to get my hot cakes and 70 burgers. Turns out my hot cakes weren't even hot after having to wait that long. And they messed up and only gave me 69 burgers. Let's start with past complaints, service. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Even when CC machine broke down it was no big deal. Asked for a special toy and they were obliged to help. Food was typical McDonald's fare. Came out quick and hot and they even bring it out to you. Most important to me is cleanliness. The dining room, and kids area where very clean and it appears that they maintain the place very well. The kids area is exceptional! Three story gym and computer games, finished off by two very cool light up tables. This is a great place to eat with the kids and let them have a great time. Never go to McDonald's in Oxford. Service is ridiculously slow. Tonight I gave them another chance and waited exactly 20 minutes for 2 Quarter Pounders, large fry, and small drink. Just did drive-thru but seemed like a good McDonalds for what we saw and experienced. Nothing exceptional but service was fine and the place looked clean. I like that more places are using that screen so you can read how your order is being put in in case you can't hear or understand the person working the drive-thru (which we could here, but it was still nice). read more

This McDonald's is much better than the one on the other side of town, albeit way more crowded. I generally opt for the curbside pickup, and order through the app. My orders have always come out in a reasonable amount of time, and we're correct. On one or two occasions they forgot my drink, but the attendant insisted that they had no problem going back and grabbing it. Just the worst service I've ever encountered. After working for four years in the fast food business, it just baffles me that someone would act that way. After butchering my order, they told me that what I ordered wasn't true and that there was nothing they could do for me so I didn't get the food I ordered or a refund. I have consistently tried to order ice cream of any kind. The machine is apparently permanently disabled because in the last year I have never been able to have an order of ice cream . Just change your menu to not include ice cream if you are never going to be able to deliver. I can understand and forgive occasional errors , but this is just laziness or false advertisement. read more

One star is too generous . DO NOT GO TO THIS MCDONALD's LOCATION. It is unsanitary, under staffed, and management could care less. It took over 30 mins to go through the drive thru. French fries were cold. Hamburger buns were stale. Also, on my two last visits ( because I will NEVER GO BACK), the shake machine and hot coco machine were down. Read some other reviews so you truly understand how terrible this place really is to its customers. The health department should be called to investigate the unsanitary conditions and untrained manor in which the employees handle and serve food to the public. read more

This is the second time I've had an issue and the last time I'll be stopping this supposed "fast food" location. It took 10-15 minutes to get my food at about 9:30 on a Tuesday night....I was told the hold up was the fries but they were cold when I got them so that was a lie. They were not busy in the drive through or inside. I payed for a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle and got a regular sausage McGriddle. I had already driven home by the time I realized this, so I called because in the past this location has fixed these kinds of problems like this. This time however the manager named Josh answered the phone and said that I needed to bring the sandwich back to the store to receive the right sandwich. I told him I wasn't going to drive back tonight but that I'd come tomorrow, and he said it was policy to have the sandwich be brought back up to the store after I'd touched it, and saved it over night to get the right one tomorrow....that is unsanitary and disgusting and I can't believe that policy is real. Massive reconstruction (leveled and reconstructed) store. first trip in-vehicle in front of mine gave no less than 4 separate orders. then paid with what appeared to be a blank piece of paper and some change. she immediately received change and 4 bags of food.typical hoodlam atmosphere. she then held up line while she talked to apparent employees at front door 2nd trip- back and forth order ended up wrong. will use other side of town or competition read more

Waited in line for 10 minutes before I got to order menu in the drive thru. Employee took order for 3 cars in other lane. I said "hello" into speaker..and she told me to wait a minute. I said you've taken 3 cars in the other lane before you've taken mine and she said she's kind of busy trying to do 2 things at one. Well yeah..busy taking orders over and over from the same line instead of alternating. When I got to window 1 to pay, she tried charging me for someone else's order. Got to 2nd window and verbally confirmed my order was correct with worker . Got to my office and opened bag only to have wrong order. Returned to McDonalds and went inside to get the correct order and the manager had the nerve to ask for my receipt before correcting the order. I finally got my order (with no apology whatsoever) and he hands me empty cup to fill my drink in dining room myself. I went through drive through for a reason...if I wanted to dine in...I wouldn't have waited 10 minutes in drive thru...though the 6 people waiting for their meals while employees stood around and talked didn't look too pleased themselves to be dining in. Not to mention I have a back injury from car accident and wear a back brace which is why I went though drive thru to begin with..and now you want me wait in the drink line to fill my cup when you messed up my order?! hands down the worst McDonalds in the country!! my orders have been wrong 8 out of the last 10 times I have been there in the last 2 years. I avoid going there as much as possible because of ridiculously long waits and the orders are consistently wrong. How can you screw up that baby orders on a regular basis?! this morning I ordered two breakfast meals, 2hash browns,two sandwiches and 2 drinks. it took 20 minutes no one in front of me, and when they handed me the bag all there was was two sandwiches in it, and he thought that was my whole order, nothing else....WTF!? I almost flipped out.I usually don't do these things and leave reviews for places but this has been so frustrating. you leave messages for the managers and you talk with them and nothing ever changes. get with the times people, you want a job or not? you don't want to do it move on, there's tons of other people would do your job thankfully.
