Literally the worst experience I've had with a McDonald's, to preface the staff working was One black haired, white skinned, manager with a receding hairline. A slightly dark skinned woman working the drive thru, and a skinny white male making the food, this was on December 24th at 7:15 pm I went thru the drive thru and ordered a few items including a quarter pounder with bacon and a double quarter pounder with cheese, the initial issue was that I did not get either of these items after I was given my order, I did get two other items but they were not the right thing. Now it must be kept in mind the lobby was closed Now me having had this Situation another day at McDonald's in Palmer I went to the window and knocked until somebody saw me and let me in to get my food. I knocked on the window and held up my receipt clearly showing that I had ordered food and I'm not some crazy person. The white manager with a receding hairline looked at me, saw me and my receipt, contemplated for Atleast 3 seconds and returned to ignoring me, about twenty seconds later the woman looked at me and returned to work as well. I'm pretty sure the manager said something to her, while she was looking at me, along the lines of "ignore him" My father then got out and also knocked on the window, really loudly btw, yet they just continued to ignore us Very annoying situation, the McDonald's in Wasilla let me in to get my food situation rectified when It happened there, Manager doesn't deserve his job I didn't get the food I purchased and the drive thru would've taken another thirty minutes to go back through. I asked for a Sausage Egg McMuffin with sausage instead of bread, because I'm a low carb weirdo. They wouldn't do it. Fine. So I asked for it without the bread. They gave me an enormous platter with a patty of meat and a circle of egg in it. Ok, A+ for being inventive! Put, there was no slice of cheese! C'mon, you're going to give me no bread, no cheese, and charge me the same, that ain't right! Next time I'll probably just order a bunch of sides of sausage and scrambled eggs. Fast food is fast food, and that's basically all it's got going for it. But when you take the fast away, what's the point? I spent 20 minutes waiting on two sandwiches and a hash brown today. People arriving and ordering 10 minutes after I had received their food before me. When I asked why, I was met with the confused shrug of a teenage employee who simply turned around and walked away. After three more minutes and another person who'd ordered after me got their meal, I was finally handed my order. No apology, no explanation, no one cared. Horrible service. read more

The grease needs to be changed more often. The Polynesian woman(manager) on the morning shift, isn't pleasant. She was taking my order and in the middle with the mic still on, was telling another employee to come over and look at how something was done. After she was done talking to them, she asked if that was all I wanted. No, there was actually more to my order. Another time I waited a little over a half hour for eight breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. Was told to pull around to the front. When she finally came out with my order, it was to open the restaurant door and yell and hold my bag up for me to come and get. read more

This place was great for a McDonald's!!! It was one of our first stops in Alaska and it was worth it. They had a lot pictures on the walls from community related events. ok...I have been eating mostly a carnivore diet, I WAS vegan for many years. I wanted to treat myself after a 48 hour fast to something that is comfort food, so we went and ordered 4 burgers, onions and cheese and mustard side. they threw 4 burgers in 4 containers, Hucked cold cheese and threw in some onions. it was too cold right in the parking lot. Wow! I didn't think McDonald's could be so incompetent, but I digress. My biscuit from there was the WORST I've ever had. It was hard as a friggin' rock and completely inedible. My daughter ordered a smoothie and lo and behold, she threw it up later that night. I'm guessing that their machines were not clean and full of bacteria. This is one of the worst establishments I have ever been to, absolutely nothing here was satisfactory, the employees were just playing around, I am sitting in the booth and next to me there are two employees just socializing while doing an half-a**'d job at cleaning the tables, all of the booths were filthy, a costumer infront of me complained about the state of the tables, and they made HIM clean them instead of doing their own job! At the front counter, some cocky worker kid was interrupting people while they order, he wasn't even on his shift, he was just floating around annoying people with his constant banter and disrespect for people's personal space, the bathrooms were horrorendus, and messy. My food was a dismal wimpy Smokehouse, with barely a strip of bacon on it. The box it came in was filled with scrap bits of crispy chicken. The sandwich was tasty and was given to me right after I had ordered, but was so messy and rushed it was disappointing. The atmosphere at this establishment is run down and feels poorly managed, messy and plays inappropriate music. While I was eating, a worker left the maintenance closet door open and didn't even come back to close it. I will definitely not be coming back to this chamber pot of a McDonald's again read more

It's McDonald's, what else is there really to say? You know exactly what to expect because like most McDonald's the menu items are identical, the staff are usually teens with a few adults supervising, and the cleanliness is average. The drive-up service is fast, as you would expect from McDonald's. The one really cool feature that's different from other chains is the photos on the walls inside the store. They are a local tribute to the fact that the Palmer McDonald's supports many children's activities and is a partner in the community. read more

When I ask for four hot mustards and I only get two because the shift manager feels that is all that's needed for a 10 piece McNugget. I'm the customer. I'm supposed to be satisfied.
