Having peoples orders on time If you are a DoorDash driver I do not recommend expecting any orders from this McDonald's their service quality is horrible my husband and I waited over 30 minutes same with 8 other people as well than to top it off after we waited 30 minutes for the DoorDash order it was wrong and they had to fix it to the right order employees seemed like they didn't have a clue how to communicate they rlly need to learn how to never going here again! read more

This is one of my favorite McDonald's to go to! The view is amazing being right on a beach. They have outdoor seating so you can view the beach while you eat. The service is super sweet there's this one lady that's always ready to help you if you need something. The food always comes out supper fast and fresh! read more

Probably the NICEST McDonalds you'll find in the United States- why because of THE VIEW! As soon as you order your meal, you will see the gorgeous view of Lake Champagne. We walk here just to see the view right before going to Montreal and entering Canada. The staff is incredibly friendly and the McDonalds itself is renovated and clean. You can eat indoors and outdoors. It's the best time to visit in the summer so you can enjoy the lake breeze. It's beautiful! okay so, for starters me and my friend wanted a nice after school snack, so we drive to Mcdonald's. we moblied ordered for pickup at the drive thru. we get to the window and i tell the woman that we are picking up, she proceeds to take a long pause, then says, in a very exasperated tone "well! i'm gonna need the numbers?!" i apologize and we find our order numbers and rattle them off. she tells me that my order is not in the system. i am very nice and politely ask if there's any other way to deal with it. she says i can pull around and show the conformation screen. We pull around and my friend gets her food and the woman closes the window on us before i can show the conformation. A few moments later she sticks her head out the window and says "anything else?!" with a nasty tone. i say, i had an order and she told me to show you the conformation, she then turns around and yells to her coworker "THIS ONES YOURS TO DEAL WITH!" and proceeds to turn her back on me. another woman comes up and tells me i will be refunded but "There's nothing they can do" . Moral of the story, they were extremely rude when all i was trying to do was get what i paid for, i was polite and understanding, so was my friend. we did NOT deserve such behavior. read more

The staff is very unfriendly and not cooperative. I asked them to replace chicken with a beef and they refused to do so, even after I asked to pay extra. Thought this location was good to go to and recommended it over Cornelia St. location but this is the second time staff has been rude to me for no reason. I just went to get my son a happy meal and on both the app and kiosk it said the toy was unavailable so I had to pick the 3 year old toy to place the order. I get up to the counter and was like hey is there a normal toy instead of the 3 year old toy? (My son is 5) Gave me attitude about it and said there was. I was like cool can I have one of those because I had to pick a three year old toy because the squishmallow toy said unavailable on the kiosk. Walking to me and giving me it she said loudly to the other worker " I don't ask, I don't ask." With f*cking attitude and I said again sorry it wasn't available on the kiosk so I had to pick the 3 year old toy. (I work at a different McDonald's, there's no reason to be rude about a customer asking about a toy.) Some people are just so miserable... read more

As far as the food goes, this is your basic McDonalds, nothing more or less. But two things make this McDonalds interesting. The first (and lesser) is the unusually large amount of seating. You've got "interior" booths, an enclosed porch-style area, and another very large enclosed play area for the kids. The other interesting thing is the 4th dining area, a picnic area out back. This, and the porch and children's area offer a fantastic view of Lake Champlain. Even better, the only thing separating the picnic area from the lake is A BEACH! So on those hot sunny days, when you want to take a break from swimming or sunning, you can just walk a few steps off the beach and get your McFix or your McPotty break. Speaking of that, I was wondering what my "bathroom experience" might be based on prior reviews. I was relieved to find the men's room was clean, but ridiculously small, especially given the amount of seating there. read more

Service here is hit or miss, but mostly hit. All standard fare here. They have a real dollar menu here that would destroy any major city version. Big plus to me as usual. The real attraction here is the view outside. They have picnic tables with a great view of Lake Champlain if that is your thing. They also have a children's playground indoors for those with kids. Typical stuff. I've never used the restroom here, but I generally expect horrid conditions. So come grab a quick bite and enjoy the view. read more

This might be the best location for a mcdonalds in the country, as long as you don't actually want food. We've tried twice in 2 weeks to eat here and gave up. Most recently we tried the drive through because the lobby always has a line out the door. We sat for 7 minutes without moving. There were 6 cars ahead of us and we decided 30 minutes was too much. When you can get your order it is usually incorrect, most of the time drinks are way off. I don't think we have ever gotten a coffee the way we have ordered it. Bottom line, great place for a picnic, just make sure you bring your own basket. read more

Bathroom is absolutely disgusting!! My BF had to request someone to go clean the bathroom as the floor in the men's bathroom because it was so bad. As far as the women's bathroom, its really tiny quarters, toilet paper all over the floor and it was wet. The only thing this place has thats good are the views of the Plattsburgh harbor. Fries were old and very salty! I said light salt! When someone asks for light salt you need to make a fresh batch. So I order another and tell them to put very little to nothing salt. And what do they do they re-fry the old fries and then serve them! What kind of service is that. I have high blood pressure it's a sensitive case. This place is in it for money, not service. The nicest McDonald I have been to was in Salt Lake City, Utah, which looked more like an upscale starbucks than a fast food joint. However, if I had to pick a joint with a long wait time, lousy service, and a discusto barfo bathroom (there was vomit in the latrine) I would pick this McDonalds. Make sure you check everything even though it doesn't matter because if your orders wrong the manager won't do anything to fix it. Called corporate on them today and of course go no were.
