I went through the drive thru and ordered a big mac with no pickles, because i am allergic to pickles. Of course, it had pickles. I left the drive thru and went in to speak with the manager and the girl that served me got and attitude and said i don't know where she is, she said that she doesn't make the burgers so it's not her fault (of course no apology). Yea it's a Micky D's connected to a truck stop. Easy enough on/off from I-95. Not my favorite having to enter a tuck stop area, but it works. This MD tends to do quite the business so the food is usually tops for MD fresh. Never had a problem with the service here either. read more

Today isn't the first time I've had problems with this McDonald's. Monday of this week, after waiting several minutes to place my order, I was told that they were out of fountain drinks. I walked next door to the truck stop that adjoins the McDonald's and the cashier told me, "McDonald's has been out of fountain drinks for about three weeks now." Also, two other customers walked out at the same time I did due to slow service. Today the initial service and greeting was acceptable but the speed of service was terrible, also I asked if they were out of fountain drinks and the shift manager (I assume) said that she would fix me ine in the back. She must have poured it out of a two liter bottle because it was flat, definitely not the Coca-Cola I'm accustomed to getting at McDonald's. I then watched my breakfast sandwich sit on the counter in a bag for 3 minutes while the manager joked with the employees and the shift manager from the neighboring truck stop. I was just an after thought in the whole process not a priority. I walked outside with my food and immediately told a potential customer how upset I was and he told me that, "It's always like that, that's why I don't go in there."
