Had a good experience. Purchased Grinch meal; all components of the adult happy meal were provided including the food, seasoning packet & shaker bag for fries, & holiday socks. Meal was delivered to table w/ care- Big Mac was actually tasty & carefully put together, fries envelope full (not half empty) & employee helped me identify correct color of socks via the product number w/o opening them. Ordered a 2nd Grinch Meal to go. Grinch dill fries seasoning is delicious, tastes like dill pickle potato chips. Socks were colorful & high quality, as was the Grinch artwork on the box. I am posting a review as I just heard my son's employer berate over not coming on a shift, meanwhile he never calls out. My son is 16, and he informed two managers (Anna and Suzie) that he was unable to come in due to a medical appt. I scheduled for him. I was upstairs when I heard him on the phone with Suzie not even allowing my son to communicate knowing he has has speech issues, cutting him and yelling. How is it this person allowed to be a manager? Where is the professionalism that goes into teaching these kids. I have never been so appalled on how someone could talk to a teen this way. I was robbed and McDonald's corporate did nothing to help me. A few weeks ago I was watching my grandchildren and decided to get McDonald's as it was quick and they enjoyed it. I decided doing door dash and we waited for the food. After 3 fucking hours of my grandchildren wanting to eat and my husband getting pissed the food finally arrived. But in the bag was just a large orange Fanta which was my husband's and a large orange iced tea with the lid open that was mine. No food or happy meals in sight. I went back to door dash and checked who dropped off my food and their name was Jennifer. But when I clicked on their account it was fucking gone. I then contacted the McDonald's and asked what had happened but those assholes did absolutely jack shit. I then contacted McDonald's higher ups and a person named Jill McDonald was supposed to contact me in 1-4 business days. It has been weeks and I have still not gotten by money back and had to listen to my grandkids cry all night because they didn't get their happy meals. Fuck McDonald's Staff on Shoemaker Road. Disgusting store. Filthy bathrooms and dining room. Employees that act like taking an order is the hardest job in the world. Specifically "Hannah" this is the third time she has talked to me as if I'm somebody she hates meanwhile I am nothing but polite, often just telling her my mobile order code. Well, I feel like reviewing a McDonald's seems unfair, but this was just a mess. Half of what I wanted to order, they didn't have. Half of what I got, cold. Service? Terrible. Then, when I pulled into the parking spot to check to make sure everything was there (I feel like you always have to check when it comes to fast food) I was missing a cheeseburger, and had a 20 piece nugget that was missing 5 nuggets and my soda was basically flat. I went back around, they gave me my replacement items (after multiple questions), and the food was still cold. Won't be going back. Even for a McDonald's, this was bad. This McDonalds leaves a lot to be desired especially as it relates to staff and service. They make you feel as though you're being a nuisance when you ask for something. This morning it took, I believe the manager, three trips to my table before my order was complete. By then she had an attitude and so did I. When I went to the window to check on my order, she and another employee were looking at videos on their phones. I would give a zero star if I could. Typical Pottstown so it doesn't surprise me at all. This place was a mess, food all over the floor and tables filthy. Looks like they haven't cleaned up for weeks. Ordered our food at the kiosk, no table numbers were available. Looked around the seating area and table markers are just thrown everywhere. I couldn't use a gift card at the kiosk, had to go to counter. Guy who checked us out was rude. Took them forever to make our food by the time you got it, it was cold. Drive the extra mile if you can and go to another location. This place is disgusting and filled with a bunch of drugged out customers and staff. I've gone to this location on numerous occasions, as I often get out of work late and if I don't meal prep, McDonalds is my go to. Each visit is drastically different from the next and, I add a lot of emphasis on this, NOT for the better. Tonight, in particular, set me off to even write this review. The customer service is non-existent; having worked in fast food in the past, I can understand that loom and doom look for employees. I've been there, so I let it go. I can understand if you're business in poppin' so when there's a long line, I let it go. It's just the nature of the beast. What I do expect, and something that I never have received, is a consistently passable meal. Meaning: 1) warm enough to still be a meal when I get home 2) the meal I ordered, this includes the correct size and drink that was placed. Tonight, I go because I'd rather eat a fast meal and go to bed. I wait at the driver through kiosk to place my order. 5 minutes go by, without anyone even saying "be right with you" or as this location prefers to say: "give me a minute." Inside is already closed so I knew that I couldn't go in to find an employee, so instead a drive back around. Maybe they didn't know I was there? 5 more minutes. So I drove up to the first window. And. I. Knock. On. The. Window. No response. At this point 25 minutes has passed, and I think to myself: "Why the f**k didn't I just go to Wawa? I'd already be on my way home. So I drove away, back down the road to a clean, well-mannered, and edible food. (And before you start judging, I checked the close time on my phone. Also giving them the benefit of the doubt that I just forgot they closed) I've overseen a lot, but this was just annoying. It was 9:50pm. Close time was midnight. Ordered an egg McMuffin and a double cheeseburger and diet Coke (gave me a regular Coke when I paid, I did not complain)....waited in the drive through for the employee to bring the two sandwiches to the curb for 15 min. As I was walking in, to ask about it, he met me at the door. No compensation offered. Poor customer service. Keep driving to the High Street location or Gilbertsville; I've never had any problems at those two locations. read more

I ordered ahead on the app cause it's usually faster and I get rewards for it, got in line at the drive thru to pick up my order. Was told that I had to pull off to the side because they didn't have any crispy chicken, they had to cook some. So I pulled off to the side. 30 minutes later my order comes out. I drove home to feed my son and I come to find out the fries aren't full and my crispy chicken deluxe didn't have any tomatoes and barely had lettuce. The only good thing that came from this was that when I ordered I forgot to add a drink and they gave me one for free. So thanks for that. Getting a make over did not make this a better McDonald's. Store needs better management, and employees need more training in customer services/food management, Unfortunately, this store lacks the customer services or staff needed for longevity. Visiting this store tonight I was highly disappointed, My food was thrown together as if it was a free meal, condiments added to my meal that should not have been I was also missing requested Items and to end it off my mcflurry had strands of black hair. (Disgusting) I highly recommend the ownership of this location to visit more often as management is not holding up their end of the deal. 12 years working in people management and this has been one of my worst experiences, especially being new to the area. Worst possible customer service I have ever had. Went in today for an all day breakfast sandwich. Got told they don't have any breakfast. This is at 11am. Next customer orders a coffee. They were told there was none made. Final customer orders a milkshake. Guess what? They didn't have them either. If there was an option to not give any stars I would. This place is an absolute pig sty and that goes for the employees as well. I was there 10/11/20, I went in to place two orders and left almost immediately. Everyone wore masks( aside from the manager who had on a cloth face covering which is proven to not do anything but make you look stupid) but not a single person had gloves on. The same person handling the register was helping put orders together. I mean who handles food while handling money?? One of the slob employees a tall and heavy set artificial blonde with star tattoos on her neck thought it was appropriate to come over into the guest section to take a phone call with her mask off. She then thought it was appropriate and health conscious to take off her mask in the food area to have a drink then stand upright and belch as loud as she could with her mouth wide open as if waiting to catch a field goal. To add to the disgust I was watching them fill French fry orders then place their thumb inside the French fry tray while bagging them. I don't even know how this place is in business. Can't believe I am reviewing a McDonald's, but the customer service here is so bad in the mornings that it needs to be noted. Specifically, an older woman working at the second drive through window is by far the worst employee this McDonalds could possibly have encountering customers. Put her in the back!! No greeting, no reviewing your order when she hands it to you, no eye contact!! She makes the rest of the staff look bad because she makes you leave feeling so negative about your experience. And it's a shame because I am sure the other employees are working hard, and if she is this rude to customers I can't even imagine how hard it must be actually working with her. I've stopped through the drive through here 3 times and all 3 times she ruined it. It's a drive through, I truly wasn't expecting much, but somehow she messed even that up. Today, she told me (again no good morning) just a "waiting for your hash brown" so I said okay and proceeded to wait by the window. She starts making a coffee and then hands it to me about two minutes later. I said "I didn't order a coffee" and she said "well who did then". Umm, how would I have known that? Is what I was thinking. But instead I said "I'm not sure but I'm the person waiting on the hash brown". She puts her hands on her hips and said "who told you to wait on a hash brown", to which I reply "you did" dumbfoundedly, to which she said "I most certainly didn't say that. If you were waiting on a hash brown I would have know it and I don't know it so you aren't waiting on a hash brown. Give me your receipt to prove it". I drove away saying have a nice day. I come to this location often, with the majority of my transactions happening via the drive-thru. Because I come during breakfast a little early, I never have issues with waiting a long time. And even if there are other cars there, the crew is really efficient about getting everyone served quickly. It's an average McDonalds that fulfills all of my Big Mac wishes and McFlurry dreams. read more

This McD's is combined with a BP gas station so it's smaller than most but it has free wifi so it has everything I need.

This is the saddest excuse of a McDonald's I have ever been to. I have gone 3 time on my way to work and each time was a new level of disappointment. The crew is obviously unhappy and the service reflects in the hateful stares for daring to ask for food. The food, oh god dare I call it that. In the am I ask for egg McMuffin meal, sub OJ. Each time the muffin is cold, the cheese room temp, the OJ room temp and the hash brown hard and Luke warm. I'm not able to complain in the store as I will blow my top so I just won't go anymore for breakfast I tell myself. Today i was hot and broke down and went. I asked for a chocolate shake on the way home. How can you mess that up I figure so I'm safe. Nope. Girl hands it to me saying chocolate shake. It looked tan, I thought well perhaps I have to mix it up a bit or the lighting is bad. One taste said it all, vanilla with a hint of chocolate at strategic points just to tease you. Again wanted to turn around and pour the thing in the counter asking them to please tell me where the chocolate shake was because this was vanilla. How on earth to you make these things wrong!!!! It's like they just want to do it badly to show how much they hate there job. But no the issue is management. They don't care or the orders would be correct and the bad apples gone. I do not understand why it takes 20 minutes to get through a drive-thru. I thought this was supposed to be fast food? Come to find out the managers are watching the line outside as well as inside pile up. While they sit on the benches smoking cigarettes and on their cell phones. Half of the employees are either young high school students who would rather joke around and talk, than to do their actual job. the cleanliness of the place is atrocious. McDonald's is not a restaurant i frequent. I went in just to grab a cup of coffee. Never saw such incompetence in a workplace environment. The workers were slow at best. Waited 20 minutes for coffee, asked for my money back. The manager overheard and went to get my coffee and but none was made.
