I wanted to come back and give an update because I think it's only fair. Since my last review, things have actually improved a lot. The last few times I've gone, they've been filling the cup properly, the drinks taste normal again, and the staff has been much nicer overall. I wouldn't say I take everything I said back, because that was my honest experience at the time, but I will say that there has definitely been an improvement. I appreciate when businesses listen to feedback and make changes, and it seems like that's what happened here. So if you were hesitant before, you might want to give this location another try. My recent experiences have been much better, and the customer service has been how it should be. Credit where credit is due. read more

The location in Fountain, Colorado on Mesa Ridge is by far the worst McDonalds I've ever been to. The service and aptitude of the employees is absolute trash. Not the worst but could have been better, drove though once and had to wait for a bit but understandable, got my food then went to park and i asked for ketchup and only got 2 packets? I drove back in and asked if i can get more since i just bought my meal and got told that i need to buy something? I'm livid. I'm from Oregon and in Oregon, the people of McDonald's are nice and always remember to give you sauce. I could ask for 30 sweet and sour sauces and get exactly 30 sweet and sour sauces free of charge. BUT NOT HERE. I was so hungry and just wanted a freaking cheese burger and sweet and sour sauce so I drove here to satisfy my crave and they started out by charging me for the sauce, making me pull up to the front because it was gonna take a while to cook my burger, and then they forgot the sauce. Stopped by for quick road bite before driving back to Tacoma. Ordered a cheeseburger / chicken sandwich (2 for $3), 2 medium fries and milkshake. Burger was very good. Chicken sandwich has a new sauce that was very tasty. Fries were piping hot and salted just right. Chocolate shake wss very good. The front counter guy was very polite and quick and the Manager Danae was very friendly and a joy to talk to. Nice Mickey D's. read more

I will not patron this McD again, I will drive across town to the one on Grand. I went to the drive thru last night. I ordered three meals and asked for three sides of tartar. When I got to the window to pick up there was no tartar so I asked "Could I get three sides of tartar please?" To which the girl answered "you didn't order tartar sauce. It's ten cents each for each sauce". Hmmmm ok. No problem. Well she closed the window rudely and then proceeds to talk to the manager on duty about it. He then says something also (you can hear all this through the window). She comes back and I give her 35 cents. It literally took 13 minutes from the time I ordered and paid sitting in the food pick up window, holding back six cars, all over some stupid sauce! By time I got my food all the fries were cold. The lettuce on the chicken sandwiches were wilted. Just unacceptable from Start to finish. I don't have a huge problem paying ten stupid cents for "extra sauce" but given that I ordered three meals, it blows my mind that I'm charged extra for this! They never hand out ketchup anymore and if you ask for some then they literally hand you one pack! Are you having that much trouble financially that this is such an issue...handing out one sauce with a paid meal and ketchup for your fries?! This isn't the first time I've had issues here but it will be my last. read more

Be prepared when enter the restaurant to order that the workers and even managers will just look at you and not acknowledge you're even there. You'll just stand there and stand there. Enjoy no service! If you want service go to the McDonald's off grand. read more

Lifechanging!! I was headed home from the gym and forgot my post-workout protein shake, the only place I could think of to get fresh food fast was Mcdonalds. I pulled in to the parking lot and the drive-through cue was absurdly lengthy so went in for the dine-in experience. It was quite a long time since I've been in a Mcdonalds and the menu was intimidating but stumbled upon a section where I could make my own sandwich and was excited that I wasn't going to be one of those who takes forever at the counter getting a low-fat soy milk late with one and a quarter pumps of vanilla and one and three fifths of caramel blah blah blah.... well different place but you get my point. I ordered a Sweet BBQ Bacon with Buttermilk Crispy Chicken and was quite satisfied with the wait time. Receiving the tray I was not surprised with the generic packaging but upon opening all I can say Mcdonalds has come a long way. The beauty of this sandwich was sheathed with a thin sheet like it was a present. After revealing its true glory it was a gift from the heavens. Upon the first bite, I had tears of joy. this was everything I imagined. After being lost in pure ecstasy the sandwich had vanished. I felt lost and confused and for a split second, this rush of hunger overcame my will to stick to my caloric intake for the day. So I did what any sensible human would do and ordered another. This time I knew what I was getting myself into and was curious about the inner works of this sandwich. I quickly dissected the sandwich and looked at each ingredient separately. The ingredients were everything I could purchase in a grocery store but how??? How is it possible for this combination of ingredients to come together and make something so addicting? To this day I am puzzled by the wizards that work at Mcdonalds and thank them for this creation!! read more

I asked to add pickles to my meal. There was a grill ticket on my sandwich that said "add pickles" but not a single pickle was added. Good thing I didn't ask to add anything they charge for as I didn't notice until I got back to work to eat. :( Not a big deal I suppose but I wouldn't have asked for pickles if I didn't really want them on my sandwich. 'Twas the beginning of your lunch rush so I understood the longer than normal waiting time in the drive through...Your special sauce IS liquid gold so I didn't mind paying 30 cents for extra. ..but the nasty fries and a burger so cold the fake cheese wasn't melted?! Maybe the best McDonald's I've ever been to. Ricky H. was, I think, the manager on duty and was an exemplar of managerial professionalism and efficiency, directing staff toward certain tables, bringing waiting patrons their food, and cooly and quickly making everything hum. Generally I would never review a McDonalds but this one takes the cake. By far, one of the worst McDs I've ever been to. Bad service, especially in the drive through. You may be asked to pull around and wait for 2 value meals. This is a regular daily thing. They need to plan better especially for the expected morning rush. read more

First off I Want to thank the people at the grand ave McDonalds. The one in the rite aid parking lot the people there are friendly and very helpful and get your order right. They also have a smile on their face and say thanks and hi ect. don't make you feel like you are a bother to them just for being there to get food. Now for the other McDonalds they are the worst Mcdonalds I have ever seen last month they have gotten my order wrong or parts of it missing 7 times and yes I know that's a lot of mcdonalds. I had missing food ,toys , and wrong drinks. I called about each one most of time just told them and said don't bother with anything just wanted to let you know. I have had them tell me they where going to send me free coupons in the mail which I never got. I was told if I can t come right now I could not come back later to get the items because people around here have scammed them way to many times. After 3 weeks I asked where the coupons they where sending they asked me who I talked to I said I think name started with a J was told not sure who that could be but after I said maybe james they said oh yea he right here tried to tell me sent to wrong address. Today and why I and writing they forgot my food and had to take cookies because they only had one pie I ordered and when I called them told me I got oh ok we will send coupons so I just told them my address and figured I would not get anything from them oh well it was 1.65 burger and I did not eat lunch but at least they know they messed up right . Wrong they called me back in 5 min and ask me was I sure about this ........NO I don't know what a hamburger looks like I might have already eaten it .....hmmmm nope still hungry. And that's why I am writing this because I am sure they messed up once again . P.S. Other McDonalds has specials all they time better people and prices examples of this are 2.00 happy meal Monday and everyday 2 sausage egg mcmuffin are 4.00 and the stadium way charges full price all the time and 3.69 or more for each sausage egg mcmuffin and don't have 1.00 any size coffee would give a no star if I could. read more
