Ordered the "Ultimate chicken sandwich" meal and said no thanks to the drink. The cashier said "oh okay I'll just put on a bottled water to fill the drink part on the order" I said okay that's fine. As I'm looking at the ordering screen she adds the bottled water which charged .79 cents to the order. When I got to the window I let the cashier know it charged me for the bottled water ( I didn't even want) and she said "oh no that's tax!" I said "oh um okay" and she ran my card and then said "oh it did charge you!, let me refund you!" I said okay no problem. I payed with card and she refunded me with change.... which doesn't make sense and so I just let it go. I got my bag and went back to work to eat the food for my lunch. I get the sandwich out and there's no lettuce or tomatoes like the sandwich in the photo on the menu!! Highly disappointed and wasted my money and break time. read more

I also would give a 0 if I could. Never had such horrible experiences at this location until lately. First of all, they never fulfill your order. I always ask for my fries made fresh and never get them fresh. They are always on the verge of being cold when I get them. Secondly, a employee in the drive thru laughed at me when I asked him to nicely remove an item (knowing I probably wouldn't get it fresh anyways so there was no point). Gave them another try today and still same rude service. Went through the drive thru to get the Big Mac combo meal for my boyfriend and I and the employee at the window starting making fun of me for asking for it because "you've gotta stop eating this junk it's so hard to get the weight off" and "I would never spend $20 on food here"... That was the last straw here I will never be back. I will drive a little further to another McDonald's just to stay away from here. I don't ever expect much from fast food places, except to at least be respectful and try as much as you can. So disappointed. I would suggest no one ever waste their money here. read more

McShitty! This is literally the worst McDonald's I've ever been to! It really doesn't matter if you go to the drive-thru, inside or mobile pickup! Takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get your food (MINIMUM)! Once you finally get your food you'd expect it to at least be warm... nope, cold and a total waste of time. Worst McDonald's I've been to, my mom ordered a sweet tea and went to fill up her cup and it was empty it took forever to even get someone's attention to tell them they were out of sweet tea along with the children's cup lids and catsup. We got our food and the tea, lids, or catsup was never refilled. Imagine having a toddler with a sprite and no lid, not a good combination. I know not to come here. 30 minute waits in the drive thru, staff who are way more concerned with flirting with each other than providing any sort of service (and it's McDonalds, I'm not asking for much). So around 3:50pm today I got my family of 12 all happy meals and one burger for me, all of the happy meals where fine but my burger had gum and was mangled when I finally got to it after feeding my 12 children. I'm very upset my uncle called McDonald's and they hung up on him just because I threw the burger out the window due to the fact i was frightened by the sight. Smh McDonald's!! I came here twice in two weeks and wanted a root beer float and both times their ice cream machine "broke" like really!? Broken during the summer?! This needs to get fixed asap. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but every time we go here the wait is over 10-15 min long in drive-thru, they always forget something or fail to mention they are out of apples for the oatmeal and still try to give it to you without saying anything. Figured maybe the inside would be a little faster... it's not very clean and the McFlurrys are filled about halfway. Management needs to step up and give better training and customer service. It's frustrating that even when you order through the self serve machines inside it takes 10 min to get 2 ice cream cones when it's not busy. read more

This location has come a long ways in the last year or so. They have a courtesy waitress type employee now who really seems to care and anticipate the needs of dine in patrons, especially in the play land. Orders in the drive thru are still hit and miss but seem to be better than they were a few years back. Very disappointed. Went through the drive thru tonight. Guy who took our order seemed like he hated his job, then the girl at the window got our drinks mixed. Tried to put a lid on a drink that was double cupped. We checked our order and at least everything looked good. Until we got home. I had ordered a chicken sandwich and asked for pickles. The little tag said "add pickles." I got home and no pickles but a tomato. Good thing I'm not allergic. Just males me wonder sometimes. How does McDonald's mess up their own food? This McDonald's must need better management and to train their staffing to care. I walk in and there's random people loitering in the lobby. The female manager takes my order and applies my coupon. I got a fountain drink and a medium fry. My friend got a Sundae and an apple pie. Besides taking forever to get our orders and no one in line ahead of us, the employees seemed distracted having side conversations. We get our food and what the heck? Why are the fries stone cold and the apple pie so cold it tasted like it had been in the warming bins for 24 hours. I doubt anyone cared. I will go to the McDonald's on canyon & 176th, their staff is friendly and the food always piping hot. I'm unsure as to why the meridian McDonald's fails even with managers on staff. read more

Why does this location suck so bad?! I've been going here on & off (once in a blue moon because its so close to me) for 5 years & their burgers are awful. Always overcooked hockey pucks, dry & no flavor. The other items are ok, but the regular cheeseburger was always one of my favorite guilty pleasures... not anymore. Shame. Tried to order a couple of fish filet sandwiches after a 20 minute wait in drive through. Was told they were not cooking those right now. They were not out of product, they were using the dryer for other items. Asked how long and was told they didn't know. Took me another five minutes sitting to try to get out of drive through line. The food is McDonald's food. It's fine. You know what you're going to get when you come here. The reason for the 1 star review is for everything else at this location. First, it should NEVER take 31 minutes to get my food. This is McDonald's. THE DEFINITION of FAST FOOD. A half an hour is absurd. Second, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired. I guess if your small staff is busy pumping out orders at a glacial pace, you can't expect anyone to come around and clean anything up, especially in the play place. Third, self-serve items were not stocked meaning that I had to walk up to the stressed, ready-to-snap staff and ask for things like lids, straws, and napkins only to be snippily be told "they're over there" and then have to explain that they were all out "over there." Finally, and this probably doesn't have as much to do with the specific location as much as it does McDonald's corporate, and I have no way to confirm this, but I'm 90% sure that a customer eating at a table had connected his phone to the lobby speakers and was receding his Ring doorcam notifications about every 30 seconds at a very loud volume. Not sure how he did it, but it for very irritating during the first 20 minutes of my 31 minute wait for food. read more

Everytime I go their their fries are cold. The last time I went their we got our kid a kids meal they gave us 2 milks apples and no fries or nuggets and I took one bite of my quarter pounder and it tasted like someone dumpt a lot of salt on it. And their drive through takes forever. read more

What a terrible experience, pathetic customer service from the lady who delivered the food to the table, threw it down without even talking to us, the hash browns weren't cooked and just stuck to the paper, the breakfast sandwiches were cold, the English muffin was hard and stale, and the sandwich I had wasn't wrapped correctly and it wasn't even built, I had to put together my own meal. Definitely won't waste anymore money at this place if this is how they run. By the way $20 for 4 breakfast sandwiches and 3 hash browns is a rip off especially when they come uncooked and unprepared. The past few times, I've come here so that my daughter can escape the house and play. All I order in the front is a 4 piece chicken nugget kids meal and an iced coffee. It takes 20+ minutes which is ridiculous, especially since it wasn't even that crowded each time I went. The McDonald's on Canyon gets insanely busy too, but the wait time is so much quicker. I wish that one had a playspace and maybe the manager here should ask for tips for providing more efficient service. Also, their iced coffee is almost always warm when I get it which isn't exactly what I'm looking for when I order something iced. The television menus were 90% down today too which I could see causing issues as people were making orders. read more

I am an Uber eats driver. Tonight I picked up from this McDonald's and there were many drivers waiting for their orders and social distancing was not at all inforced. Two employees came in wearing no masks and some employees were improperly wearing their masks (noses not covered. Made an order on the app and planned on picking up curbside, well when I got there the 2 pickup spots that were there (3,4) were taken so I parked next to #4 and and got back on the app and said that I was in spot #5 the e-mail that I got said they received my order at 4:58 PM and that my order would be ready in 5 minutes well I waited and I waited okay I know their busy finally about twenty minutes after 5 and seeing that a lady that pulled up 10 minutes after me got her order I went inside and stood there for what felt like another 10 minutes not one employee said not one word to anyone of us that were standing in the lobby finally what I THINK was the "manager" not sure I told her I had been waiting for my order that I had done on the app she asked me for a code well I didn't have a code and she wouldn't take a minute and help me she just walked away and said I have orders to get out apparently the drive through is more important she finally came back over to me after walking away from me and said that I could place my order AGAIN and wait some more or get a refund so I told her I wanted a refund and she asked what I had I showed her the e-mail I got she wouldn't look at my phone to see what she was refunding so I didn't get all my money back!!! Waited 45 minutes for our food in the drive through, cost 50 bucks, the girl was so rude, rolling her eyes like I took the sauce out of her salary. Food was cold and when I called back to talk to the manager, her communication skills were worse than the first two girls I dealt with in the drive thru. Hey maybe it's not the most ideal job you've ever had, but terrible customer service and rolling your eyes/being rude is not okay.
