One of the worst McDonald's around. I only went there because it close to home so I made an order for curbside pickup and when I got there I clearly put in what stall I was in. So 10 mins past by then 20 mins past by then 30 mins past by. Still haven't gotten my food. When I went inside they said it was for delivery and it was just sitting their on the counter. I was like no I clearly state what parking stall I was in. Waited in the drive-thru for 45 minutes today. At one point after waiting for over 10 minutes without moving, I just shut my truck off. I didn't have to start it for another 10 minutes. There were only 5 cars in front of me. When I got around the corner to pay, I could see that there were NO cars waiting for food, it was the cashier that wasn't taking money. She didn't open the window for another five minutes. I finally just laid on the horn until she opened the damned window. When I got to the second window, there were plenty of people in there, but none were doing anything (not filling drinks, not stocking, not taking orders, not making fries), they were just wandering back and forth. The biggest problem is that once you're in line, you can't get out. My son suggested that I just put it in reverse and start forcing people to back out. I won't be going back. My friends and I were there at 6:30 AM ... randomly wanting Mickey D's breakfast... and their systems were DOWN!! Ordered through the McDonald's app at 10:30pm to pickup at the counter since the drive through was pretty long and their counter closes at 11pm. When I proceeded to the door it was locked and no one in the lobby. So I went to the drive through to tell them about my order being placed. I waited 50 minutes just to get to the intercom to tell them about my order. They said "we have your order here in the lobby" I asked can I drive around everyone to just grab it then? They told me unfortunately you'll have to wait in line. After everything was done, it took a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes to get food here. Never waited this long even for a wine and dine restaurant. Completely insane. I would say it's not the workers fault they're just doing their job but how can you tell me I have your order here ready but I can only have you pull around to grab it? DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE! This is THE worse McDonald's I have ever been to!!! I keep giving them a try but nothing changes. I once came up to the drive thru and nobody answered to take my order, it was not busy and not blocked off. Next time I came and ordered a $35 order which totally threw them off! It took 45 minutes to get this order, I had to go inside and wait and each time the poor guy brought me the bag the order was wrong! He said sorry your order disappeared off our screen so I gave him the receipt and they still got it wrong. And don't be surprised if your waiting in line forever!! Something is seriously wrong at this location, management is what it comes down to. Piss poor management. When I was waiting for my messed up order inside I could see the manager in the back too busy on her phone instead of making sure orders were getting out. This place is always filthy. You can tell cleanliness is not a concern of theirs at all. Tables with food sitting on it, floors with food all over it. It has a playplace but honestly my kids get cleaned head to toe after using it. It's so dirty. Service inside is slow, I realize drive thru is their priority but when they do interact with customers service is terrible. If it wasn't for the playplace we would never come here because of how dirty it is. Bathrooms are also gross. read more

This is the very very worst McDonalds in the world...it is so slow...you are guaranteed 15-20 minutes and sometimes longer in the drive through and sometimes even longer in the dining room. Quite possibly the dumbest McDonalds in the whole state of Washington, I eat there semi regularly due to the fact that I work so close, and it's one of the only mcdonalds resteraunts within that area. Employees never have a good attitude or any resemblance of organization, and it always feels like I'm watching a bunch of chickens running around with their head cut off. Drive thru needs to work on their speed and service. I hate leaving bad reviews as I believe that a place should be experienced multiple times to leave a proper review. Well this is my 5th time through the drive thru and I've been in this line for nearly 20 minutes. Once I pulled up to order it took another few minutes for them to even respond and they kept getting my order wrong. I don't know what their organization or system is for drive thru but clearly it needs to be improved if they aren't able to get out their orders fast enough... I would say that the wait and slow moving line is only sometimes but it's happened every single time I've come here (the five times I've been here is just by myself, I've come here multiple times with other people) day and night it's always slow. read more

The staff is pretty amazing except for 1 person named Jennifer. She makes it horribly obvious that she despises her job. She never greets with a smile, she always looks bothered, bored, or angry, gives short replies in an irritated tone and is just REALLY unpleasant to interact with. I hate having to order through her on my way to work when I'm just trying to get breakfast because she's just so rude! If it weren't for Kim who occasionally takes my order and is the COMPLETE opposite of Jennifer, I'd never order from here. I simply don't learn. This McDonald's is close to my home, but before I get too far into the review let me advise you to simply find another McDonald's to go to. By the time you actually make it through this drive thru to get your food, you could have traveled to any other McDonald's in the area, received your food, eaten it, then drive back to this location, smokes a cigarette, used the restroom, washed your hands, and knitted a sweater. If it's one thing this McDonald's does, they are extremely consistent on how long you will sit in the drive thru. Plan an extra 20 minutes into your day if you plan to visit here. Over the last three months I've visited their drive thru about six times. Each and every time I've spent MINIMUM fifteen minutes waiting in the drive thru. The first few times, I figured it was an anomaly. I have since come to learn that they are simply that slow. Even when going into the restaurant to place my order and get food, the wait time is in excess of fifteen minutes. I don't understand why these people are so slow compared to any other fast food restaurant I visit - but they consistently move slower than molasses on a December night in New England. Having a root canal with no anesthetic is less painful and less time consuming than trying to complete an order here. Getting to place your order isn't that big of a deal as they have two drive thrus, but the time spent sitting with no movement in the line after that to pay, and then eventually receive your order is an eternity. Today, I once again stopped by here to grab a breakfast sandwich and orange juice. I had nowhere I needed to be for two hours, so I figured i had plenty of time to wait. I knew that it was once again going to be a lesson in patience and frustration, so I kept a close eye on my clock. I arrived in the drive thru at 10:15am. I placed my order at 10:17am. I paid for my order at 10:25am. I received my order and drove off at 10:31am. They have two drive thru waiting spaces for large and complicated orders, but they don't use them. While waiting today I saw two others in line leave. Avoid this McDonalds. I have no clue why they can't seem to replicate a speedy experience like every other fast food restaurant in Pierce County, but they can't. This may sounds strange but this McDonald's has the best hash browns ever! I know these restaurants have standardized procedures to make sure all the food tastes the same. Ordered the "Ultimate chicken sandwich" meal and said no thanks to the drink. The cashier said "oh okay I'll just put on a bottled water to fill the drink part on the order" I said okay that's fine. As I'm looking at the ordering screen she adds the bottled water which charged .79 cents to the order. When I got to the window I let the cashier know it charged me for the bottled water ( I didn't even want) and she said "oh no that's tax!" I said "oh um okay" and she ran my card and then said "oh it did charge you!, let me refund you!" I said okay no problem. I payed with card and she refunded me with change.... which doesn't make sense and so I just let it go. I got my bag and went back to work to eat the food for my lunch. I also would give a 0 if I could. Never had such horrible experiences at this location until lately. First of all, they never fulfill your order. I always ask for my fries made fresh and never get them fresh. They are always on the verge of being cold when I get them. Secondly, a employee in the drive thru laughed at me when I asked him to nicely remove an item (knowing I probably wouldn't get it fresh anyways so there was no point). Gave them another try today and still same rude service. Went through the drive thru to get the Big Mac combo meal for my boyfriend and I and the employee at the window starting making fun of me for asking for it because "you've gotta stop eating this junk it's so hard to get the weight off" and "I would never spend $20 on food here"... That was the last straw here I will never be back. I will drive a little further to another McDonald's just to stay away from here.
