This restaurant has turned me off to the entire McDonald's franchise. The service is so incredibly slow. I arrived at the restaurant in time for my mobile order for Breakfast, and their slow service had me sitting in the line. I believe they purposefully slow down the line around 10:25 so people waiting will miss breakfast. This is also crappy, because it's their call to make a breakfast item after 10:30...like someone that had placed a mobile order ahead, waited in line, got to the speaker at 10:31, and now the app won't let me cancel the order. I may have lost $7, but they've lost my lifetime of business across the entire restaurant chain. NEVER order from here. Lots of better options that are healthier, just around the corner from this location. read more

I really wanted to like this McDonald's. Unfortunately they decided to charge for water cups here. I would not recommend.

To begin with, it's around 6:05 PM and I was looking for a quick meal, so I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese and bacon along with a small vanilla shake. I also ordered a sandwich for my brother. However, the Deluxe McCrispy had bacon that was quite burnt and blackened, and the Quarter Pounder didn't have any bacon at all. I was at home feeling confused about why the orders were incorrect and why the bacon was overcooked and burnt. I feel disappointed and upset about this situation, and I would like a refund for an order that is prepared correctly. I hope you all take notice of this! read more

Apparently their "system" was down and they couldn't take any orders. Let's go back to pen and paper, people, but saying there is no way to place an order? Unbelievable. No. The large fry box was only filled up half way with cold stale fries. The Big Mac had no sauce on it. None whatsoever. Just two dry patties, lettuce onion and cheese. This McDonalds has MAJOR issues. This is THE WORST McDonalds I've ever been to. Thought they were just having an off day the first 2 visits, but this is just a poorly run and managed franchise; Ray Kroc would be furious! SLOOOOOOOOOOW drive thru, even when very few in line. The food at every visit was subpar, cold, overcooked, and straight up NASTY. When in Ranson WV, I suggest anywhere else but here. I'm not trying to be mean, but I travel a lot, and have visited many many McDonalds, this one lost it's juju. When I got the receipt I said "I ordered a large sweet tea" they had rang in tea as the kids meal drink and a separate charade for apple juice. The person just looked at me. I have NEVER left a one star review anywhere, but this McDonald's is really bad. We have given it many tries, since it is so convenient to where we live. Nine times out of ten, there is a problem of some kind. After tonight, we will never go there again! There was NO ONE inside, and the drive-thru was barely moving. We waited a while. Several cars left the drive-thru line throughout this process including us. It is supposed to be FAST FOOD!!! Also, we have been there three times at about 10 pm (they state that they are open until 12 am), and there was no one at the drive-thru. We even parked on two occasions and knocked on the door. All the lights were on, but no one answered. If you are going to close at 9 pm, why say you are open until midnight? This just wastes your customers time and annoys them. Additionally, today three young people got out of a car by the drive-thru. I am pretty sure at least one of them worked at this McDonald's because he changed his shoes in the parking lot before he went in. They all had Roy Rogers products in their hands. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've gone to. From my two visits, I've discovered that their customer service is horrible, and the food is never fresh, but lukewarm and stale as if it's been sitting out for a while. My son wanted a sundae so I ordered one through the drive-thru, and was amazed that the server would give me a cup of ice cream with fudge all over. He then wiped the excess ice cream and fudge off with his fingers and asked "if I wanted extra napkins"! I took the sundae just to take a pic and through it in the garbage can. Again another bad experience from this location. This location has a problem with getting your order correct. Just an update to my review of this awful place. The service hasn't improved any. The cashiers all have an attitude. To the point of arguing with customers. I ordered a hot cake and asked for extra syrup. I was charged for it. I said if it's going to cost me money take it off. I've been ordering hot cakes with extra syrup for at least 30 years and never been charged. The cashier argued and gave me an attitude. I told him if he was going to have an attitude, cancel my order and I left. A few months later I'm here and ask for honey mustard. "I can give you one for free, then I have to charge you". I am 100% sure this is not a McDonald's policy. It's the manager of this place. It needs to be taken over by corporate. The owner of it needs to lose their license to operate. It has gotten worse since my original review. I am once again going to call the hotline and complain, and I'm sure once again I'll be blown off. read more

In the mornings, depending on who is working, you will get diff size drinks in your order. I literally was handed a kid size drink with my chicken biscuit meal a few times. There are also random wait times. Very few times I order, pay, get my food and drive off. I usually have to wait at least five mins which doesn't mean fast food to me. Ps. Stop in last night around 9:30 to get 3 large drinks. Employees standing around, cursing like sailors, or on cell phones, Hawaiian Punch spilt on the counter top at the soda machine and on the floor, ice cream dripping out the machine being caught on paper mcdonalds bags, dirty trash can sitting in the open at the registers. I watched a employee taken a sleeve of medium cups and fling them out the holder onto the floor and laugh about it (no one picked them up) and then along with french fries all over the warming station. When a employee asked what happen to the floor another employee replied " when you make a mess all over my grill, I make a mess on your floor". This McDonald's was filthy and I will not be returning. Went here and asked for unsweetened tea and they said they were out but I got over, didn't bother me much. Asked for the drink large and got a medium. Asked for only cheese and tomato on my Quarter pounder meal but got everything that usually comes on it. Also asked for honey mustard AND RANCH.
