I'm not a big MacDonalds fan, but this is one of the better Where I have eaten. Food is hot and tasty. Pretty good for a Micky-D's.

Monday, January 8th, 2018, my son and I stopped by here for lunch since Chick-Fil-A was closed. The roads were pretty icy from the weather, so when we pulled into the McD's parking lot and began sliding, we pulled into a spot instead of driving completely around the building. As we got out of our car, 2 guys were standing outside the door smoking. The one guy spoke up and said: "I know I'm not on the clock, but next time don't be a dick and drive around the building before parking". I said: "Whatever" and my son and I continued into the restaurant. This guy follows us in, yelling at us, so I told the manager on duty that she'd best settle him down or I'd call the police. He continued with: "Call the cops all you want you 'F-ing' Dick!" He then went back outside and was banging on the window at us with his finger cursing and yelling he'd kick our asses. We got our food but ended up leaving because of his continuous ignorance. This place has definitely lost my business. read more

This is the UNSAFEST McDonald's I've ever seen. It has over 40 parking spaces yet they have two spots by the front door that if cars park there they block the entrance. That is bad enough but when these cars back up to leave they back directly into traffic leaving the drive-through. This makes for a dangerous situation for pedestrians as well. In July I was approaching the entrance, had to walk around the cars that were in those two spaces and tripped over the concrete point on the left side of the entrance. I fell right on my knee where I had replacement surgery eight months earlier. Two customers saw me fall and rushed out to help. A trip to the surgeon and Xrays revealed no permanent damage but I still have swelling and discoloration. The outcome could have been so much worse if I had hit my head on the concrete curb on the other side of the walkway. I made it clear to McDonald's that I'm not interested in suing them but just want them to correct an unsafe situation so nobody else gets hurt. All they would have to do is eliminate the white line and put out a no parking sign. That is a simple and inexpensive fix. These are not handicapped spots so there is absolutely no reason for them being there and blocking the walkway to the entrance. I have also been told by one manager as well as one employee that there have been complaints about this before. Neither McDonald's nor the Town of Ranson, under whose jurisdiction this is, has shown any interest in correcting this and have just been given me the runaround over these last few months. I don't usually write reviews, or make a fuss over a few wrong items as I know it's easy to mix things up when a place is busy. BUT! today really boiled my blood. It was not busy at all, I ordered a kids cheeseburger meal and a 10 piece nugget meal. Simple right? I guess it wasn't. My child ended up with a nugget meal, which I thought ok no problem, he's not picky. Then I received our drinks. Which we didn't receive straws for. When the food was all in the bags, the woman at the window shoved the bags in my face, almost throwing them into my car without saying a word. Extremely poor service. Worst McDonalds I ever ate at. Made an order at the drive through Half the food was missing and the Breakfast burittos' had about half the ingrediants other McDonalds have. Like eating a flower tortilla with a little cheese. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. I am only giving them one star because the lady at the cash register was nice. I went through the drive-through and ordered a ranch snack wrap with bacon. For some reason on my receipt it says "no ranch, add mayonnaise" - WTF?! So I ask the guy at the window to please make sure that they didn't put mayonnaise on my snack wrap instead of ranch, he said he would go ask. He came back to the window and told me they said it had ranch on it. I say OK and pull forward, look at the snack wrap to make sure, and it's full of mayonnaise. I have my baby in the car, the drive thru line is packed, I'm trying to get back on the road to go back to Virginia after visiting my grandmother, and it's getting late- so I decide the fastest thing to do is to pull up in front of the entrance and run in. When I walk in, the lady at the cash register says "what did they mess up this time?"- goes to show you how intelligent these workers are. I tell them that they put mayonnaise on my snack wrap instead of ranch, the lady in the front says I'm so sorry, we will fix it. I tell the lady my baby is in the car can you please bring it to me? They said no problem. The guy brings out my new snack wrap, I open it to check it and all it has on it is ranch, chicken and a slice of bacon - no lettuce, no cheese. I run back inside for the second time, with my baby still in the car, to tell them that there is no lettuce or cheese on my snack wrap. While the lady takes it back to the preparation station, this fucking idiot in the back, the one who is making the food, keeps glaring at me like I'm inconveniencing him for making him fix my order. I get in the car check it again, there's finally lettuce and cheese so I drive off thinking I can finally eat. I'm driving away, take a bite and spit it out, realizing that they put this disgusting, chewy grilled chicken under a piece of crispy chicken. I ordered the CRISPY chicken wrap. It was seriously the most disgusting piece of meat I've ever eaten. It looked like uncooked chicken. The guy in the back was clearly just fucking with me at this point. So now I get to drive for two hours hungry as shit on country roads with no food. I will def never ever go there again. I have never met a bunch of bigger morons in my entire life I don't know how this place is still open. read more

Ice Cream machine is always out of service. Perhaps they did me a favor since seeing the movie the Founder. The food is not real food and has zero nutrition value at high prices. Bought an ice cream maker instead and now I will save money, time and gas in my car. read more

Went through the drive through at lunchtime on a Saturday. Ordered 2 quarter pounder with cheese meals. No special requests. Took my order fast enough, payment too. However, when I got to the food pick up they asked me to pull up to space# 1 and they would bring it out. Watched as car after car got their food. After about 7 minutes I went in. Said they we're waiting on fries, but that turned out to be someone else's order. Lady bagging asked the food prep for the 2 QPC, waiting a few more minutes, asked again, and food prep still hadn't started on them. Acted like they had no idea they were even on the menu. Walked out, came back in with receipt & cc and asked for my money back. By time that process was completed my burgers still were not ready. Really, every time I've gone there there is usually an issue, but today was the worst. BTW went next door to Chick-fil-A and was served quickly, politely, and correctly. read more

Absolutely horrible. They almost forgot to give me my food!! When I actually got it I found a gigantic coated hair in my Big Mac and there was basically no salt on my ice cold fries. Worst experience ever. Horrible customer service. Come on people, you need a McEducation. Dear lord. All I wanted was a Big Mac and some warm fries. Is that seriously too much to ask?! read more
