Unfortunately I can't say I'm shocked and it is ultimately my fault for trying again. I just thought going to the counter would have cleared me of this mishap. I ordered a plain Big Mac on the app. Plain typed twice and selected on the app. Nothing but cheese. They had gotten the Big Mac wrong 3 times. 1st time - had everything on it. 2nd time - Had Big Mac sauce on the bottom burger 3rd time - Zero cheese when all I wanted on it was only cheese. And it's not the nice people in the front's fault. They were fast at addressing me and apologized countless times. I suspect it's one of the cooks in the back as the gentleman had a less than excited look on his face when we made eye contact while I was waiting. The nice young man and young woman at the front even pointed out to him that the sticker on the box of the burger says plain more than once, and reminded him to add cheese and that it was crazy that my order was messed up multiple times. The front workers definitely tried and were very pleasant which is why I leave the two stars. I did a mobile order for my kiddo after church. I used a coupon from their app and got it for 2.99. It was ready in less than 5 m and I popped in and grabbed it. It really wasn't busy, although it was a Sunday morning. I love the McGriddles (I ended up eating half of my kids) because of the sweet syrup in the pancake top and bottom. It's like pigs in a blanket. But more efficient. I couldn't ask for anything more from this experience, honestly. Horrible! I got in line with about 3 cars waiting to order at 908pm..... I got to the order box at 925pm... they kept taking just one lines order. I didn't order till 939pm cause they kept ignoring the side I was on. I didn't get my food and leave till 954pm. I'm not sure if there was a staffing issue or what. I was unfortunately blocked in so I couldn't just pull away. It's called fast food. I could have went to a sit down restaurant and gotten my food faster. Based on my experience today at this McDonalds, I'd give them a minus 5. I stopped in to get a quick bite before having a tooth pulled. I only ordered one cheeseburger (extra onions, ketchup, and cheese), and a medium Coke. 25 minutes later, my name was not even on the board as being prepared yet. I had to leave for my Dental appointment and could not get someone to come to the counter to get a refund. I gave my receipt to another customer to have my food. I've been this this location not once, but twice in as many weeks and I have to say I'm impressed! For a store in a considered high-traffic location, they do a great job at making sure the store is clean, the food is fresh, and issues are resolved easily. Ordering both through the app for table service and picking up at the counter were equally good experiences. Using rewards is easy too and everyone seems like the treatment there by management is fair and cordial. Had to download yelp just to make this review!! So, I have been coming here for years. Usually it's like any other McDonald's. It had its ups and downs etc. lately it has been a great experience! Staff is friendly, food is hot and fresh, and I always see staff cleaning and making sure their environment is clean and sanitary! Usually I come inside the restaurant to order but for the last couple weeks I have been going through the drive-thru since I recently had surgery and it's difficult to walk. Food is out quickly and I always have a good experience! Especially when there's this specific person at the second window, I cant spell her name right for the life of me but i believe it is Sariyda? It sounds more like sariyah but i saw there was a d in her name somewhere on her name tag. She was great! Every time i go through the drive through and she is at the second window my drinks are out fast, my sauces are always in the bag, and she always makes my day! She is always kind, makes small talk, makes my kids laugh, she is just amazing!! I always look forward to seeing her because know I will have a great time! And the most rewarding thing about having her serve our food is that she is never robotic about her service like some people are, she is genuinely meaning what she says when she tells us to have a good day or to enjoy our food. She also engages with our kids when they talk about their day or stuff they like! We always leave with a smile! Whoever raised that young lady definitely did a great job! The service here is amazing. We got table side service and they brought the food with a smile and asked us if we need anything. They went back and brought the sauces we requested for us. We got a Big Mac, quarter pounder, and large fries and the food here was honestly better than other McDonald's. If you want a fast food hamburger or chicken sandwich and happen to be in Northwest Reno, I would say the McDonald's on 5148 Mar Anne Rd near Robb Drive is one of the cleanest, fastest and friendliest ones I have ever visited. The parking lot was plentiful and spacious. The ladies' restroom was very clean and well stocked. This is a very important option for me. The people working there were pleasant and proficient.
