No one was rude, but it was just very bleh... There's a skeleton decoration, adorable, but it definitely didn't vibe with Mariah Carie singing Christmas songs already. That just threw me off and I didn't care for it personally. Nothing against Xmas music, but it's Halloween in a few days! As for the food, rushed as you can see, but my biggest gripe is the lack of monopoly stickers. I deliberately ordered three things off the monopoly menu: large fries, large drink, and chicken sandwich. The double cheeseburger was so rushed it looked sad, and only the drink had a sticker. Wtf McDonald's? That's the biggest reason people are coming here in the first place right now OSs for stickers, and we're aren't getting any. One of the worst experiences, I ever had. We waited more than 20 minutes to order. We tried flying a few people to help us and then people just kept on ignoring us while they saw us waiting online. The kiosk except orders but no payment you still had to wait for someone to assist. They had a cashier who was older than the crypt keeper and she kept messing up in the order. Then they overcharge our food and have a signage to explain promotions but did not want to honor those promotions. The managers were rude and kept ignoring the signs that they had in their own stores! I even took a picture and showed her. Eventually it took another 35 minutes to get a refund. Quite possibly one of the worst McDonalds I've visited in awhile. I submitted a curbside pickup order using the app. Waited more than 20 minutes with nobody coming out. Meanwhile saw up to 15 cars leaving via drive through. Finally got fed up and went inside. About 7 people were waiting to pick up their orders inside with 9 orders in queue according to the electronic board. Yikes I thought. 4 people left after demanding a refund and getting scoffed at by the associates. Finally it was my turn to inquire about my order. The associate apologized for the wait and handed me my order. More than 45 minutes has gone by since the time of placing the order to picking up my items inside. To make the matter worse, my orders were all incorrect. The iced coffee was not topped up correctly, with the lid on crookedly. The drink nearly burst all over the car once I set it down. Then, I realized there was also no straw in the bag. And my sandwich was incorrect. Granted the sandwich didn't taste bad, but it wasn't what I ordered. I was at this location for lunch on 6/21/25. This was the ABSOLUTELY WORST McDonald's I have ever been at. It should have not been open at all that day. First, the restroom was filthy and had no toilet paper. Next I went to order food. They were out of most of the selections! The only choice was a plain hamburger, fish or nuggets. I ordered a burger, fries and 4 piece nuggets. It came with no onions or ketchup. Weird. I asked for ketchup - they were out of it. In fact, the whole restaurant had no other vegetables except pickles. I only ate 2 of the 4 nuggets because 2 of them were not cooked through. They were still uncooked and the coating was gooey. I threw them away as it wasn't worth it to try to get a remedy. I ordered a small drink - luckily since they were out of medium and large drink cups. I went to fill my drink and the whole station was swimming in water and soda. The floor was dangerously wet. I was very cautious because I was so afraid of falling. Not only was everything wet but it was messy with trash everywhere. There were several customers there but they not terribly busy so there was no excuse for the messes. If they had told me ahead of time that they basically had no supplies I would not have wasted my money and time. The owner should be ashamed of their greed in keeping this location open when it clearly should have been closed until they were stocked with the bare minimum of supplies and food offerings people expect from a McDonald's location. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal, two happy meals and a 2 cheeseburger meal. I ordered at 11:48 and I was told to pull up to the corner to wait on the 2 cheeseburger meal. No problem. As I watched cars to by, my family and I waited and waited and waited. Someone came out around 12:00 and asked me what I was waiting on. I told them just two cheeseburgers. They said okay, can you wait a few more minutes. I said sure not a problem at all. THIRTY MINUTES GO BY and nobody comes out to bring me food. I take my children in the car (who finished their entire happy meal (which wasn't even the correct order either)) because I was done waiting. When I go inside, I tell the staff that I ordered almost a hour ago and I'm literally just waiting on two cheeseburgers. They come back around with a quarter pounder (not what I ordered). The staff pretty much threw a quarter pounder at me. Did not apologize or even offer anything for waiting. I've worked in the fast food business before. It doesn't take a hour to make two cheeseburgers. And if you have a customer wait OVER A HOUR, you are supposed to do something for them. Whether it is offer something for free or give them some coupons.... Terrible service, terrible management, terrible establishment. DO NOT GO THERE.......EVER. read more

I visited this McDonald's on a road trip. I wanted a Frappe bad. I needed a sugar and caffeine boost to wake up. I decided to stop at the McDonalds out of the countless locations on my way home. I have had quite the bad luck going to fast food joints on this road trip. I got up to the drive thru sat around 9am and ordered a large caramel frappe. Well, the machine is broken. What? I know the ice cream machine is notorious for "breaking down" no matter where you go but a frappe machine? That's the first for me. So I ordered an ice coffee instead and some hash browns and breakfast sandwiches. It took so long for me to get my order and the cashier wasn't the friendliest. My hash browns were cold and my coffee...ha. Well, I literally thought about googling if you can burn coffee so bad that it ends up burning off the caffeine. Sheerly out of necessity, I had to go to a McDonald's this morning to pick up lunch, so I could eat on the way to work. Big mistake. I don't know if it's an effect of the pandemic, or simply a sign of America's cultural and intellectual malaise, but people are doing the strangest and most idiotic things as a result of not knowing how to think properly. The McDonald's is one I won't go back to ever again, at 8210 Brook Rd. in Richmond. After they handed me a bag with my food, they gave me what's in the photo. My mouth hung open. "The fountain isn't working?" I said. The girl at the window shook her head. The piece of paper in the photo was actually inside the bag. I thought it was my receipt, but the paper is blank, and one side is gummy, as if it were a sheet of adhesive stickers. So I have no idea what that was doing in my bag, but I do know I don't go to restaurants to do it myself. If the fountain wasn't working, they should have told me. If the fountain wasn't working, they should have given me a choice of taking a canned drink or none at all. Instead they told me nothing until I asked about it. What would they have done if they had run out of bags for the fries? Perhaps, given me a handful and said, "Bag them yourself." If they had run out of buns, would they have handed me a hot burger patty and pointed me across the way to Food Lion to buy bread? The mismanagement here is obvious. If I didn't occasionally have to go to fast food restaurants, I wouldn't. I definitely won't go back to this one. read more

My family came to this McDonalds for breakfast during a road trip. Our first warning sign was the cigarette buds littered on the window sills. We continued into the establishment, hungry for some Egg McMuffins, hotcakes, and hashbrowns. My father began to place the order. Mid-sentence, he was interrupted by some commotion the lady working the drive-thru was dealing with. How rude! When my father was finally able to finish our order, We picked out a table and sat down. The chairs squeaked with any slight movement and the table would move and tip with even the most minimal pressure. My family was now catching on to the generally poor condition of the establishment. I pondered what the state of the bathrooms could possibly be here, in this pathetic excuse for a fast food restaurant. I went along with my two brothers for protection to the far end of the store, where the lavatory was located. Each step, I noticed more and the grimy nature of the store: Stains on the floor from a spilt carbonated drink, the numerous "wet floor" signs strewn about carelessly, and a COCKROACH. Unbelievable. The bathroom was not an improvement, oh no. Two dirty urinals complimented the lonely stall with an unflushed turd in it very well. I figured the overall uncleanliness in this place might've unknowingly dirtied my hands so I decided to wash them. That experience was actually normal, which was beginning to feel more and more lovely with this place. That was, until my one brother pointed out that the one faucet, once turned on, extruded water to a humorous level. We both shared a chuckle, and began to leave the bathroom. Upon returning to the rest of our group, I found my father with his arms crossed, and a look of disappointment on his face. To understand why that is the case, some context: As a teen, my father worked out his local McDonalds. As a teen, my mother also worked at that same McDonalds. As a teen, my uncle managed that very same McDonalds. They ran that McDonalds with excellence. Shame it burned to the ground in September of 2018. Regardless, my parents met at McDonald's. The McDonald's ancestry is in my blood. The French fry grease: in my veins. To see my father see this McDonalds in this poor of a condition made him want to put his fry cook apron back on, hop over the counter, and get to work. But alas, he was now on the other side of the counter this time, and had to live with that. By this point, it had been around 20 minutes, and none of our food had been delivered. My dad was waiting for our order (227, he remembered it!) to come out. The one lady ends up nearly handing out that order to someone in the drive-thru! My dad then asked what the meal number on that bag was, and she responded with our number, he asked what was in it. She replied, "One egg McMuffin, Two sausage McMuffin with egg, 3 hashbrowns". Not only did they almost give our order to the wrong person, but they didn't even get our order right! We ordered 3 egg McMuffins, not one egg McMuffin and 2 sausage McMuffins with egg. How preposterous! At this point me and the rest of my family wanted to leave this establishment ASAP. We felt unwelcomed and unloved in this McDonalds. We decided to take our meals to the car, which is ironic because the whole point of going to the McDonalds was to take a break from the car ride and stretch our legs. But at that point, I think we all wanted a break from the McDonalds! Overall, I would not return to this establishment, nor would I recommend others to go, unless you're one of those sick people who enjoy watching chaos unfold around you. If I could give this location, zero stars I would. I just recently moved to the area and I keep giving this McDonald's chance after chance just because of how close it is.However, they continue to do nothing but show their true colors, and what they are capable of. Today I reached my breaking point. After sitting in a long line for about 15 minutes, we finally made it to the intercom to order. The lady over the intercom asked if she could have a moment before she took my order I said sure. When it came time for me to order, it seems as though she could not hear me and became frustrated over the mic. She then came to the back door (located behind the drive-through sign) flung it open and shot me a dirty look. After returning back to the window she informed me that they were closed due to being shortstaffed, and that they would no longer be taking any orders. At this point I had already been in line for about 20 minutes my appetite was gone and I was over it. However, I still could not leave the line due to the way that their drive-through is set up. (One way in in one way out) After sitting at the intercom for another 15 minutes I had had it. I got out of my car and asked the few cars behind me to back up just enough so I could jump the curve. After I pulled off, I parked in the parking lot for a moment to cool down and search for something else to eat. I then was a palled to watched as they forced a few cars to drive through and said that they were closed. Then randomly start serving after they let a few cars sit in line in drive-through. I'm not sure how they decide when to serve versus when they don't but I was a palled would how many customers they turned away, and the fact that it was only 9 PM. read more

I placed an online order through the mobile app for a kids meal and a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich. This is the second time this month alone where my order is incorrect. The gentleman that originally serviced me at the window did not even know where my order was. Everyone else was either eating at the counter (clearly visible from the drive through window) or outside gathered in the entry way. After driving off and getting home I realize the order was incorrect. I got back in my vehicle and returned and at this point I just wanted a refund due to the fact that the order and accuracy consistently continues to happen with this location. At that point I was told that they could not refund me my expensive and they could not except the food back that I did not want because it was not what I ordered. It was explaining to me that if I had a problem with the order that I had to go through the app to have it corrected. However, there is nowhere on the app to have a correction or request a refund when your order is incorrect. The app states to contact a member of the store to solve the issue. Initially, I was told that I had to come in the store if I had an issue, and I explained to the worker that I was in a cast and I was not able to come into the store, especially since at that time it was pouring down raining. There was a lady who gave me the name who assisted me and told me I needed to speak with her manager only named Kaco, no further contact info was given to me (I had asked for an alternate number as each time Ive had an order issue no one seems to answer the phone there. Outside of the female supervisor who gave me store managers name the level of professionalism let alone customer service from this location is absolutely bottom of the barrel. There seems to be no sign of the culture changing at all and its absolutely ridiculous that have to go to a location farther away and pay a higher menu price just for basic service. read more

I have been going to McDonald's location all over for years and this by far has been the worst experience I have ever encountered... Everyone acted as if they did not want to be at work. They did not great the customers and the attitudes were very unprofessional. No one had on name badges but I understand why ... if they had name badges I would have gotten names ... the way one lady talked to an elderly name was very disrespectful ... we requested a refund after a long wait and dealing with the rude employees .... I hope this emails reaches someone that can help and I hope cameras are reviewed I will attach a copy of my receipt in hopes to watch and then educate on better customer service skill for the future...this team is the opposite of what I would want to represent my brand ... I pulled into the drive thru behind one car and my order was immediately taken. When I pulled to the payment window, the lady told me to go park, which was strange because there was no line of cars and the restaurant (as it later turned out) was empty. I waited 13 minutes in my car before driving back to the drive-thru lane, but at this point there were 5/6 cars in the lane, so I parked and went into the store. They saw me and told me they would take my order in a bit (not knowing that I was checking on my order). I waited 5 minutes before I finally got the attention of a woman and asked if they'd forgotten my order. They had it right there and were about to take it out. I got it 20 minutes after ordering. They weren't apologetic, which is not a big deal because it probably sucks to work at a fast food restaurant. I got home (I live very close) and neither the Big Mac nor the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken were fresh or hot. The Bigmac tasted fine, but the Buttermilk Chicken had an old, hard, inedible patty and semi stale bun. I honestly don't understand how McD's stays in business with competitors like Chick fil A who get you your order within a few minutes, fresh and quality. There was one person behind a register, and one frantic employee who seemed to be the manager behind her, fetching food. There were a dozen people waiting either for food already ordered, or to order. Not a good sign, I thought. But I waited and watched.
