20 minute experience. After waiting for 10 mins and not having the line move, I was eager to finally place my order. Only to sit at the speaker and get nothing. Not a "I will be right with you," nothing. Then they take multiple orders from the other speaker. Now I'm really frustrated. I've been in the drive through 15 mins and haven't ordered. I finally place my order and things go smoother from there. I wrap up my bag and take it home I'm anticipation. I open my bag to find the fries spilt over the bag. Setting fries vertical in a B size bag with two cheeseburger and a hamburger shouldn't be an act of god, apparently it was. I start placing my fries in the container. It was half full at best. I just paid 8 to sit in a drive thru for 20 mins, and get half full fries. My last $8 at that. Man I'm really disappointed. I won't be coming back. read more

We had just made it to California after driving from Reno to visit my aunt for her birthday. We pull into the drive through and there's a sign on it that says they are open till 12 Sunday through Thursday. They tell us they will be with us in a moment and we say okay. Next thing you know all the lights shut off and the employees are yelling at us saying there closed as they get into there car! It was 11:30 and they closed the entire thing! This is the WORST McDonalds I have EVER been to, so bad I downloaded Yelp and signed up just to leave this review after poking fun at my mom whenever she says she's going to "Yelp" a place. I have lived in four different states and in multiple places in three of those states. The food is CONSISTENTLY below average, it's not even below average it's worse. They never put enough sauce on anything so I asked for extra sauce on my McChicken, this is what they consider extra sauce. My mother had a Filet-O-Fish and asked for extra tartar sauce and it looked like they gave her an even less than normal amount of sauce, very similar to my McChicken. Do not waste your money here, you're better off eating a kale wrapped tofu burger than this sad excuse for food. read more

I just ordered from this place. I ordered a 40 piece McNugget with a mango smoothie and I only received 20 pieces and the mango smoothie. I called to see if I could go pick up my 20 piece McNugget that was missing and the person that picked up the phone hanged up on me twice, then I called a third time and no one picked up the phone. This McDonalds has a little to desire. First, I have learned you have to go inside to order their drive through is useless, it's slow, and they will screw the order up most of the time. If you order a shake... the odds are the machine is broken down. Today I ordered two quarter pounders & fries at 2:19pm. Oh my lord, I've never had a mcdonalds order so screwed up before. They litterally messed up ever part of it. They put the wrong meat on my burger, (They put grilled chicken, I wanted beef) They almost gave my drink to another customer. Luckily I noticed the order number on it and intercepted them. However when I did get the drink (a caramel macchiato) they had so much extra syrup in it it was too sweet almost to the point of undrinkable. However when I order a combo meal I expect to receive a hash brown, how can one be satisfied with a McDonald's breakfast without the crispy golden brown patty I've grown accustomed to. Be careful. Tonight, the electronic sign at the drive through has prices that are less than what the cashier charges. I brought this to the attention of the clerk, then to the 'manager'. The manager said that the prices went up a while ago and they're working on upgrading the electronic sign. I go to this drive thru every evening to get a little snack for my dog and me. It's by the far the fastest, nicest, and most efficient McDonald's out there. They are so polite and professional. They even remember my little dog's name and say hello to her. They never make an error on my order, and sometimes my order is a bit complicated (a chicken sandwich without a bun, no sauce, etc.), and it's always served precisely as ordered each time. It's also so darn efficient. My drive-thru visits rarely last over 90 seconds from entry to exit. Thank you again. Amazing job and dedication to quality. read more

My family and I frequent this McDonalds often. For the most part, the service is ok (not great) and I mean it is what it is; it is McDonalds. I am not going in there expecting it to be a 5 star restaurant. However, what is prompting this review is that last night a worker came out on break took his shoes off at the booth behind us, took his socks off, rubbed his feet and ate his food. That is a sickening sight in and of itself, but when he returned from break he did NOT wash his hands. Beyond nasty, and I will never get that image out of my head. The manager should be right on top of that stuff and monitoring that. Also, a non-service dog came in, and was shedding and scratching. They also blocked the kids area while it was in use with a garbage can with no warning or communication. Also the bathrooms were DISGUSTING; no garbage can, smelled BAD, filthy, hair on counter, garbage on counter, etc. The place is pretty clean in the morning and nice with the remodeling but then basically just doesnt get cleaned again all day. The food isn't bad if you actually get what you ordered. Last week I popped in to grab a hamburger happy meal with mustard and pickle only and an angus wrap. I drove away with two parfaits and a happy meal with ketchup and pickle. Today the order 4 cheeseburgers and one hamburger mustard pickle only... the cheese burgers were swimming in ketchup. I always patronize this McDonald's location. Wonderful staff, so very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers. It's always spot clean and service is fast. Their coffee drinks are reasonably priced. As a senior, it's a great place to gather for a.m. coffee as it's only $1/cup. I highly recommend our Rohnert Park McDonalds. read more

I hate McDonald's but my husband loves it and as we were leaving town at 6:45 in the morning we pull up to the drive-through so that he can have some breakfast and nobody is there. We order a number two with orange juice pull up to the window wait for about 10 minutes and then told the park any reserved drive-through spot and wait another 10 minutes. 20 minutes for one meal is absolutely ridiculous. While I was at the window I noticed that everybody inside was getting their food instantly. If I could I would give this a zero or negative stars. If you were going to make somebody wait for 20 minutes for one stupid meal you better comp them future meals or give it to them for free. While waiting in the car in the reserved parking I sent my husband to walk over to the Starbucks which usually takes longer. he was able to get my coffee and come back in time. I'd give no stars if I could!!!!!!!! I'm absolutely appalled by my experience here Saturday night. Lobby is suppose to close at 11. Showed up at 10:45 and the doors are lock. Manager standing at counter and ignoring the 4 people who are standing at the door a little confused on why the door is locked. We knock on the door manager looks up and walks away... just as someone is walking out we hold the door and say "excuse me are you the manager?" He reply "yes." He starts pacing and refusing to let me see his name badge. I ask the young cashier for the info and he tells me "no, just get out" my husband tells them they "can't treat customers this way" the young man starts puffing up is chest and proceeds to say "I'm about to knock this white dude out" a little upset at this point I told the guy "you are not going to do anything to stop acting like a tough guy before he gets himself hurt making threats" the manger then comes walking up on the phone to the POLICE? Wtf? A very nice Mexican lady comes out from cooking and apologizes over and over for her boss and co worker and is clearly embarrassed by their behavior. I go outside and with in 5 minutes surrounded by 5 police cars ( Rohnert Park cops are terrible guess you are guilty until proven innocent in this town but that's another review...) long story short after being DETAINED and disrespected they talk to some witness who collaborate our story NOT the one of the managers who said we made threats to them?! The police told the manager he can not make fake police calls and that was that we were free to go. I will be reaching out to the district manger. This manager does not deserve a job in customer service. And I will be reaching out to the police about the way I was treated and doing everything I can to escalate the fact that this manager made false (slanderish) accusation against me (i was yelled and screamed at while the cop held his hand on his gun holster to sit on the concrete even tho I was no threat or done anything criminally wrong. The sausage biscuits giving me food poisoning so I called the restaurant and was told the manager would call me back. When she called she asked how I was and there was anything she could do. I was very critical of another McDonalds in San Rafael due t their lack of customer service ans would suggest they look to Minerva and her team at this location for customer service training.
