When we first moved to Rohnert park 3-4 years ago this place was consistently the best, the app made it that much easier for us to go because nobody got the coin to be spending McDonald prices. However, this last year they have been so incredibly awful. Having work done in our home and everything is tore up! So we opted to order DoorDash instead of fighting the chaos that is my kitchen. Order arrived with no utensils, no salt, no pepper, no syrup, no butter, no jelly, nothing... I called the store asking about these missing items and was told they are no longer automatically included!! I travel to Daly City every day from Sebastopol. I used to buy from commerce. Then I got a burger from San Rafael. When I get a cheeseburger from Rohnert Park it is squashed and only warm, barely any condiments. I eat in the parking lot. The fries are are warm only. When I buy from San Rafael. The buns are fluffy. There are plenty of condiments, and the burgers are hot and the fries actually burn your fingers. So what the hell is going on with Rohnert Park? The staff are generally nice. But the food is so sad. Don't eat here it is sub par, and that's being nice. Also I used to love quarter pounders, but I hate onions that they put in them. Then I waited ten minutes, I didn't want to get out of my car so I decided to go to drive through, but then turned back around because there was a line. I placed an order on my lunch break for curbside. Got to the location 10 minutes later, pulled up in a curbside spot. Put I arrived and what spot I was in (order will be right out it says) 15 minutes go by, nothing. Wasting my lunch break. I go in, everyone looks like they have no idea what's going on. Wait another 10 minutes inside because there's a ton of people waiting for their food. Ironically you would think I'd put a poor review after my experience today with a grumpy "manager" who disrespected me in front of my son then again in the restaurant, shoved past me, and threw a fit yelling at me accusing me of complaining because she doesn't speak English? When little did she know I'm multilingual and understood every word she said. She agressively came toward me twice more, and I'm thankful I kept my cool and Manager Magda and fellow employees made the situation calm, and kept her away. Magda is an excellent manager, she didn't make me feel bad or escalate the situation, got me our food, and tossed in a free cookie for the trouble which I insisted wasn't necessary but my son appreciated. I get that it's maybe not awesome working there but that's not my fault. I even said they don't make enough and I don't pay enough for either us to have a bad day over this, just want my kids food. And shoving past me wasn't smart, not knowing my physical mediacal conditions of osteoarthritis in both knees hence why I try to do curb side.... 95% of the time service, food, and cleanliness ambiance is excellent here. And I come here often as a mom of a special needs child who has sensory issues and doesn't eat many foods. It's McDonald's, so you pretty much know what you're getting...which is two stars. I'm giving it 5 stars for the employees that work there and their manager. I've never been able to see the manager's name tag, but she's got reddish hair. She seems to run a very organized shift and never seems to treat her employees bad. My husband and I downloaded the app and ordered free fries with purchase. The server called out the number instead of delivering to the table. There were all of six tables with people l. They are not what seemed to be busy. My husbands fries were rock hard. He took them back and asked for fresh fries. The manager said "I swear by my fires" and argues with him before replacing them.
