This McDonalds is crazy good at messing up orders! It's a huge beautiful McD's right on the busy corner of Sierra College and Douglas. Two drive through lanes, playland, it has it all. It's very slow in the drive through. They don't serve me the right food. I work near here so I have been a few times. I order the same thing each time - cheeseburgers with no mustard or pickles. Not too hard. But each time something is wrong - there are pickles, or they are plain, or there is mustard. This past visit I also ordered an apple pie. It was STONE cold when I opened it ten minutes later - like refrigerator cold. I shall not return. Hopefully they get it together. read more

Went to drive thru today and just experienced the most rude employees ever at the second window- bad customer service and wrong order and missing items. First- they gave me wrong order, I gave that back...a ok. We were waiting for a while and I can see them going through our bag of food and talking right on top of the fries and the rest of our food. I also overheard conversations in the background. They had messed up another order. An employee asked her manager and coworkers what she should tell them outside. David at the window was rude and said just say "here you go" why give them an explanation. You don't need to give an explanation! How rude...how can the manager train their employees to give that kind of service to paying customers. Then, they gave me the wrong items. I ordered an apple pie in my order and they didn't give me that they gave me medium fries. They gave me the apple pie and I said what about the charge?? They charged me for a medium fries which is more than an apple pie. They conversed and I can see rude facial expressions. All the workers had bad attitude!! David came back and rudely asked for my bag and said he wanted the fries back, so after already in my car and after we touched everything he took it back. I hope they didn't give it to another persons order (especially with corona virus going on). Then they came back with the change and didn't even say a word. I told them I didn't appreciate the bad attitude. And they just looked away and the manager just stared with no remorse. Went here to get breakfast as i usually do before my shIft. Ordered oatmeal and a hashbrown. Got my order and headed to work to find no hashbrown. So i called and the manager said she'd write down my name and i can get both for free the next time. Today i go and order a fresh hashbrown and oatmeal with apples instead of raisins because i have an allergy. They instead decided it was cool to not switch my raisins and only give me 1 side of fruit and my hashbrown was barley warm. The very first time I decided to order online, get the order wrong and not even fully filled. When I say they got the order wrong I mean they sent incorrect items. I tried calling them for a solid 30 minutes. I finally ended up giving up on that. I ordered my son a large strawberry cheesecake milkshake., they sent a mint one called the shamrock. I ordered him a medium French fry's that didn't even come to the top of the opening. The fries ended up being about 35% of what should be there. This has to be the worst McDonalds ever. Consistently very poor customer service. I use the McDonalds app for their coffee rewards, but 5 get one free. Been using the app for a couple years now. I go to redeem my 5 coffee purchases for a free one and the young man types the code into the computer instead of scanning the QR code. Tells me it isn't working and calls his manager. She says the computer won't let her try again. The young man tries to tell me that I have to buy 5 coffees on one order to get the 6th one free. Yeah, that makes perfect sense, I'm sure everyone that comes by for breakfast orders 5 coffees at once. I tell him that's not how it works. He continues to argue with me. All other Mc Donald's I've been to have been quick to own up to any screw up and make it right. I agree with Tony here. Going through the drive-thru usually would be easy and convenient. But they have two drive-thru lanes here. The girl (on a Sunday morning) kept going back and forth between the two lanes, so she had finally took my order the fourth time. I guess I was supposed to pay her at the first window, but she wasn't paying attention and I drove to the second window. Well, GIVE CLEARER INSTRUCTIONS! Another thing I disliked here is that they don't have the mochas... hot or cold! I thought all McDonalds were the same. Apparently not. The McDonald's at 8660 Sierra College Dr. is absolutely ridiculously bad. If you go to the reviews 99% of them are bad and this makes me feel good about this post because I am definitely not alone in my disappointment with this location. I have read that maybe a new owner can turn this place around but that will only happen when all of the employees that I've dealt with are exchanged with employees with manners. And I have tried to use the mobile app but when you order something online and then you get to the location and they're out of it like apple pies what's the point. I will definitely drive out of my way to another McDonald's location or maybe Jack-in-the-Box or Wendy's from now on even Taco Bell would be better. read more

My wife and I stopped in and ordered the new Grand Mac with light lettuce. My wife's burger not only came with light lettuce but no sauce, when she approached the counter she was informed by the manager that she would have to pay .25 cents for extra sauce. When she advised the manager that she didn't get any sauce he said it will still cost .25 cent. She said never mind and then he said, very rudely " I'll give it to you for free this time" We will not be back to this McDonalds again. There is a younger woman who works up front who must hate her job because she is always unpleasant and pissy. Me and a older lady with two kids were waiting upfront to order and this employee ignored us while I stood there asking someone to help this lady. Then another employee named Jose walked by us and ignored us as well. I stood right behind him as he took an order outside(they always make you pull up and wait in a parking spot for someone to run your order out to you) and he again completely ignored me. This is just one instance. It's always something with these employees. They constantly get orders wrong and get mad when you actually call them out on their BS. That woman up front should be fired. I have been coming here since it opened and this is one of the cleanest and well managed stores in the surrounding area. You also can't beat the $1.00 any size drink.
