    Philly cheese hash

Awesome spot in Roseville!!! If you need a spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch, this is the spot! This spot is great for gatherings or a date with Mrs or Hubby!! This spot has amazing food, great atmosphere and a great staff that includes Vanessa, Kelly, and Justin! Inside atmosphere is great, it is a little loud with the high Ceilings but it's a warm and inviting and very kid friendly! They even have a section that is a little more private where it is a section with glass doors which is a little more private! Outdoor dining is great as well with a spacious section with tables with umbrellas! The food is great with a nice variety! We have tired numerous dishes and all are excellent! From the Philly Hash, to the veggie Benedict, the fried chicken sandwich, Philly sandwich on sourdough, fresh toast, breakfast flatbread, cast iron skillet Shakshuka, spicy omelet, croissant sandwich, lemon ricotta pancakes, children's fresh chicken tender and fries, to the latte and fresh squeezed OJ!!!! Every dish is awesome, tasteful, fresh and delicious! You simply cannot go wrong! Extra tip: ask for the potato's to be crispy which makes a huge difference! Come and eat at the pantry! You will not be disappointed!

Are you kidding me? This has got to be the best brunch I've had in so long. All 3 dishes were hits, and even the drinks (the Orchard Fizz mocktail and fresh squeezed OJ) were awesome. We were served by Chau, and he was attentive and helpful, and the space of the restaurant is open and bright-- sure to wake you up for the day. Fair warning that portions are huge. 4/5: The smoked salmon hash topped with chili oil and sunny side eggs tasted good with the hollandaise sauce. It lays on a mountain of soft potatoes, bell peppers and onions. 4/5: Pistachio french toast was soft and didn't shy away from a strong pistachio presence. The cream was truly decadent with each bite. 5/5: The chicken and waffles was my absolute favorite dish. Beside it being the biggest plate of chicken and waffles I've ever had, I am such a fan of the green onion and cilantro with a sweet syrup that had chili oil or something. It was the perfect spice to sweet ratio and the chicken was crisssppyyy. I ate way too much of it. This is my new brunch spot while I'm here in Roseville.

Don't be latte for brunch! [Roseville CA] This place is busy at any given time... it's giving me the sense that locals don't need to work, they fill up this restaurant LoL! I dined on a Wednesday at 11:00a. They don't take reservations but you can join a waitlist in Yelp. Come here on the weekend and expect to have some wait. I ordered the Pantry Combo: Two eggs, choice of two meat (bacon or sausage), potato hash, and choice of pancakes, french toast, toast, or fruit. If it's your birthday they give you pancakes! Good customer service, Christina was friendly and did check on me every so often even as she was busy with other tables. She applied my birthday reward at the end of my meal. This location has gone through two restaurants in the past, maybe three, including Ginger's, Mexico Lindo, and Ciao. The Pantry is located at the Palisades Plaza in Roseville. Finding parking during peak meal hours can be challenging. Instagram: @thepantryrestaurantroseville Review #4025

Good food, great service. It was our first time there and everything was amazing. Parking was a bit tricky-- that parking lot is so tight! Will definitely try other dishes next time.

The Pantry is one of my go-to's for a delicious brunch in this area. Everytime I go on a weekend I rarely have to wait long and the service is very quick and friendly. There's always new specials going on which are so unique. I got the beetroot hummus toast to share and the lemon ricotta pancakes and veggie Benedict. The beetroot hummus toast was so delicious and fresh! The hints of goat cheese paired well with the creamy hummus and the crunchy watermelon radish. The veggie Benedict with potato hash was solid as well, and complemented the lemon ricotta pancakes that were so fluffy and not too sweet. The ambiance is very lively and spacious, and it looks very clean and new.

Met one of my besties here to try it out for the first time. I saw a post about it on IG. My friend got the Combo meal and she loved it! I got the Chicken & Waffle. The chicken was tender and crispy and the waffle was crispy too. The flavor was REALLY GOOD ! I got a Guava Noir and her drink was Peel & Petals (I think). Anyway they were good too. I just wish mine was in a taller glass. Would I go back again? Yep

This place is a true gem: great food, excellent service, good vibe and shaded outdoor patio seating is available. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked fabulous. Adam went above and beyond to provide me with excellent service. The shakshuka skillet is filled with flavor and the right level of spice. The coffee was perfect too. Get there before 9 on Sunday if you don't want to wait. Well done, Adam and The Pantry.

Oh how I love The Pantry! It's rare for me to give five stars to places, but The Pantry has everything that brings me joy in life - beautiful presentation and fantastic tasting food. I tried the Beet Hummus Toast and Baklava Pancakes. Both had great flavor and the pancakes aren't sweet, which was great! I could taste the flavors, rather than having a overly-sweet Service was great as well. I'll be back here ASAP!

Yum! We went for breakfast, and loved the variety offered, service and delicious food! We ordered the eggs Benedict, matcha French toast, and buttermilk pancakes along with a few mocktails and coffees. Everything was perfect. The Benedict had beef bacon, which I had never tried, and it was awesome!

Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and helpful!! His name is Shay - I thought he looks like Ryan Gossling!! Super friendly & attentive -- I felt bad for him as he had tables outside, in the room and in the main room -- I even overheard a waitress asking where his section was and he was laughing as clearly it was in 4 different places but he was compentent and managing it well. We were sat initially in the back room area which was nice except there was a couple with two littles who were screaming at times - they eventually left and the manager (I assume as she was dressed in regular clothing - named Vanessa) moved one of the high chairs to the table directly next to us within arms reach - I asked her if they were seating someone there she said yes - I asked if we could then be moved as this was so close and she moved us to a high top table - I understand trying to navigate seating but after also working in the service industry it's also important to think about how close you are encroaching on other people whom are already sat - space - wild to me the lack of consideration for this by a manager too!! Plus the table where the original couple w/ kids were sitting that wasn't encroaching on our space is where they could have been sat!! Screaming children in high chairs doesn't always allow for a great experience! Especially with this back room area being somewhat enclosed and when the kids were screaming it echoed. I noticed after we were moved they didn't even sit them there - smh. I saw them take the group outside - they had a huge stroller that woudnt have fit in the corner she was trying to fit them anyways - with 4 adults. Other than that experience with the manager who dismissed our concerns by just moving us to a high top instead of the new group - I'd recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. Not sure I'll be back (the manager was a real turn off for the vibe as she was also yelling and loud with staff and other customers) -- the food was just okay - they serve beef bacon and chicken sausage - not my favs.

The Food and Service are amazing! It's well lit , with a nice bright minimalist modern vibe, but very loud. Not a huge deal unless you have hearing issues in loud spaces.

    Waiting for my yummy breakfast!

The pantry, is one of my favorite places. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and their drinks are amazing. Also, the temperature inside is always perfect year-round, whether it's cooling in the summer or heating in the winter.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

Bold flavors, expert preparation, pretty on the plate and generous portions. Bambie had the 1/2 chicken fried southern style. Crispy ouside, soft and moist inside. The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. But I persevered and gobbled them like there is no tomorrow. Satisfying. A big hungry guy will be perfectly happy after polishing off the plate.
