Inside atmosphere is great, it is a little loud with the high Ceilings but it's a warm and inviting and very kid friendly! They even have a section that is a little more private where it is a section with glass doors which is a little more private! Outdoor dining is great as well with a spacious section with tables with umbrellas! The food is great with a nice variety! We have tired numerous dishes and all are excellent! Are you kidding me? This has got to be the best brunch I've had in so long. All 3 dishes were hits, and even the drinks (the Orchard Fizz mocktail and fresh squeezed OJ) were awesome. We were served by Chau, and he was attentive and helpful, and the space of the restaurant is open and bright-- sure to wake you up for the day. Fair warning that portions are huge. 4/5: The smoked salmon hash topped with chili oil and sunny side eggs tasted good with the hollandaise sauce. It lays on a mountain of soft potatoes, bell peppers and onions. 4/5: Pistachio french toast was soft and didn't shy away from a strong pistachio presence. The cream was truly decadent with each bite. 5/5: The chicken and waffles was my absolute favorite dish. Beside it being the biggest plate of chicken and waffles I've ever had, I am such a fan of the green onion and cilantro with a sweet syrup that had chili oil or something. There's always new specials going on which are so unique. I got the beetroot hummus toast to share and the lemon ricotta pancakes and veggie Benedict. The beetroot hummus toast was so delicious and fresh! The hints of goat cheese paired well with the creamy hummus and the crunchy watermelon radish. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and helpful!! His name is Shay - I thought he looks like Ryan Gossling!! Super friendly & attentive -- I felt bad for him as he had tables outside, in the room and in the main room -- I even overheard a waitress asking where his section was and he was laughing as clearly it was in 4 different places but he was compentent and managing it well. We were sat initially in the back room area which was nice except there was a couple with two littles who were screaming at times - they eventually left and the manager (I assume as she was dressed in regular clothing - named Vanessa) moved one of the high chairs to the table directly next to us within arms reach - I asked her if they were seating someone there she said yes - I asked if we could then be moved as this was so close and she moved us to a high top table - I understand trying to navigate seating but after also working in the service industry it's also important to think about how close you are encroaching on other people whom are already sat - space - wild to me the lack of consideration for this by a manager too!! Plus the table where the original couple w/ kids were sitting that wasn't encroaching on our space is where they could have been sat!! Screaming children in high chairs doesn't always allow for a great experience! Especially with this back room area being somewhat enclosed and when the kids were screaming it echoed. I noticed after we were moved they didn't even sit them there - smh. I saw them take the group outside - they had a huge stroller that woudnt have fit in the corner she was trying to fit them anyways - with 4 adults. Other than that experience with the manager who dismissed our concerns by just moving us to a high top instead of the new group - I'd recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. Inside, the vibe is great; super bright with huge windows and plants everywhere--though the tables are a bit tiny for two people with several plates. The drink situation was a little weird. They have this massive bar but only do mocktails. We tried them, but at $9 for a small glass, it mostly just felt like paying for expensive juice. The food, however, was definitely the highlight of our catch-up. I had the Turkish eggs ($18) and they were delicious, and the blueberry French toast ($14) which was plenty for us to share. Service started out great and our food came out fast, but then our server kind of vanished. I convinced my Dad and the hubs to drop by for brunch on a Sunday morning, and used the Yelp waitlist feature checking in about 40 minutes before my anticipated arrival. When we got there we were told it would be another 10-15 minutes before we could be seated, weekends are crazy busy here. The restaurant was very crowded and loud, but in a cheerful way, and although the server appeared irritated, I suspected it was because of the kids running around in the small space. We ordered the Shashukkah, a Philly cheesesteak potato skillet and the Pantry breakfast combo. The coffee was decent and they have all types of fresh squeezed juices and a menu full of mocktails. I was tempted to my order one, but the prices were pretty steep for a glass of juice, syrup and soda. The plates of food were generous, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and crispy on the outside, yet creamy inside. My Shashukkah was great, the pepper tomato sauce had a little kick and the eggs poached perfectly. They serve beef bacon, and the hubs said it was delicious. This is my favorite brunch spot to go to in Roseville. This is my fourth time coming here. First of all their menu is completely halal which I love as I can try as many different menu items as I can. They are very try busy during the weekends so I would recommend trying to get on the waitlist as soon as you can. The inside is a very modern with industrial lights and little plants all around. All the food I have tried has been delicious! This time around I got the Philly hash. The meat was thinly sliced and flavorful. The potatoes had a perfect crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and the sauce they put on top is delicious. I have also tried their pumpkin chai pancakes in the winter which are by far the best pancakes I've had in my entire life. This place is certified Halal-so that means no pork or alcohol.Which is not exactly a deal killer for me,just means no mimosas with this meal.I was definitely intrigued by the Beef Bacon though,not sure I ever had that before and I must admit I liked it.Chicken Sausage was pretty good as well,so for this meal I didn't mind the no pork rule. The hostess seemed dismissive and too busy to even make eye contact, which didn't set a great tone. This place took me by surprise! Most of the time, trendy eateries are average with no unique tastes. But The Pantry offered a whole variety of breakfast/brunch items, and all our dishes tasted so delicious with bold flavors and fusions. I love baklava, so I was eager to try their baklava panckes. It was so good, it tasted spiced and paired so well with the whip cream on the side. I also ate the breakfast flatbread. It was a unique blend of a flat bread and my eggs and arugula.
