Have you tried the McDonald's mobile app? It's really great! You place your order and you let them know you're there when you arrive and they put your order together. The food is still hot and fresh. So this review basically it's just for the drive through and how nice and friendly they are. The food is McDonald's so it's pretty much the same at every McDonald's. Some a little faster and some are a little slower. But today I decided to grab some breakfast because I was running extremely late and didn't have time to make something. And I was quite pleased on how friendly the drive-through staff were. They greeted me with a good morning and said thank you many times. And when I was leaving they said and have a great day it's little things like that that make the place but much better. It's amazing how people in fast food and many lower paying jobs think that they don't need to be friendly. So when you find someplace that has friendly staff it's always a plus. Terrible. Awful. I asked for two 10 piece nugget meals with fries, ranch, and 2 waters. They gave me 9 fucking nuggets. If the definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, then I must be insane. Or at least crazy enough to expect that this McDonald's location's drive-thru may someday get its act together. Although my youngest child is the only one in the family who likes McDonald's, I have rolled up to this location's drive-thru countless times. And honestly--no exaggeration--I am disappointed 9 out of 10 times. Whether it's discovering I'm missing a fork for my salad or hearing my child's shrieks as he bites into onions and pickles on his supposed-to-be-plain cheeseburger, the unpleasant surprises never cease at this location. (The walk-in aspect of the restaurant is fine; I'm referring only to the drive-thru.) What do they expect folks to do in such situations? I've tried calling, but no one ever answers. Once, I returned to the restaurant and they said doing so is the only recourse (and that you need to present the problem in person within 24 hours of their mistake). Not sure about the rest of you, but there are reasons I opt for the drive-thru, and none are conducive to entering the store after I've driven away, i.e. I'm in a hurry, I'm in yoga pants, a child in my car has removed his/her pants. Have you ever tried to unbuckle multiple, hungry children from 5-point harness seats AND THEN walked them all safely across the parking lot? Last night, I indulged my girl in a post-dance class happy meal (real ballerinas live off nuggets and chocolate milk, amiright?). Here's the timeline: 7:36pm - Pull forward into the right side drive-thru. 7:40 - Speakerbox talks to me but only after everyone in the left lane clears. And I'm even talking about those who drove up way after me. Confirm on the screen: one Happy Meal and one large UNsweetened iced tea...no ice (so that I can refrigerate and enjoy it the next afternoon). 7:41 - Pay and drop my $.03 worth of change into RMDH change bin (I hope the saying is true that every bit helps; that is an awesome charity). 7:49 - Tired of staring at the backside of the SUV in line in front of me, I phone the restaurant to see what's the holdup, even though I know my effort to reach anyone--especially in management--is futile. Rings endlessly. 7:51 - Finally get to the food window and ask why they didn't send the car holding up the line FOR TEN MINUTES to one of those "My high-maintenance order is taking too long so I'll park here and someone is going to bring my order out to me while on roller skates" parking spots. (Not true about the roller skates, but wouldn't that be retro-fun?) She said they already sent 3 cars to those 3 spots so they're full, and that I should have a nice day. 7:52 - Exit drive-thru and wonder at my view of 3 empty parking spots reserved for slow drive-thru orders. 2:10pm Today - After a long walk with the dog, I salivate as I excavate my large, no ice, UNsweetened iced tea from the fridge. The aftertaste from the first big gulp is...sugar. Why?!? Who drinks sweet tea in California? The chicken place across the street has a drive-thru that runs as efficiently as a German train system, so they will now get all of my coveted post-dance drive-thru money. I have my own business, so I know what it is like to gave to work through problems. Before I will write a negative review, I will visit at least 5 times, differnt days, shifts, etc. They are on top of food quality, you dont have to worry about getting sick. Order takers on drive throught are nice and patient. Thats it for the good news. 4 out of 5 times. I received the wrong order (never in my favor), and rude people at the pickup. Always ask for a receipt, because even if you circle immediately back, have the bag, the wont help with out the "ticky". Was previously my go-to McD even though I live in Rocklin. Today was a bad day for this location. First, the Big Breakfast with hotcakes, sausage patty, English muffin, scrambled eggs and hash brown patty was a disaster. I realize it is breakfast time and these are probably made in advance, but there's no excuse for it being COLD. Probably would have cursed if I had done drive-thru, but this time I ordered "for here" because I had 2 hungry toddlers to feed. If I had tasted the food before they started I would have returned it immediately. Unfortunately they were half-finished before I tasted a bit of each item. This location is so screwed up have eaten here alot because it's close to my house, but after today never again. I come in order food one if the items was a holiday pie. The 2 women after me order only holiday pies and are told there only 3 left, they say they will take them. When I get my food I look in and I have an apple pie. When we ask them to correct the error they say sorry we are out of holiday pies. These morons have my pie to the women after me. So rude and disrespectful. read more

By far one of my favorite McDonalds. What's funny is you may think "oh they're everywhere, what's so special about McDonalds?" Well glad you asked. This one, has an amazingly clean kids play structure with so many cool twists and turns that kids like to climb and hide in. Great place for parents to relax and chill while able to watch their children run and play. My kids love it here. We grab a bite to eat and then they run off their energy. The employees are super nice and very helpful. Bathrooms are kept pretty neat and clean and should you run out of that much needed toilet paper, they're quick to respond & refill their bathrooms. Next is their food. Ok 2 thumbs way up!! The food is cooked really well & their fries actually feel like their made fresh. Best part...for all those coffee lovers...their coffee is done well. The coffee is important, taste & all, but I believe it really depends on who's making the drink...the barista. If they know how to mix it up, well...then there you have it. This is why this Mcdonalds is by far the best!! read more

As far as McDonalds go, this is one of the most clean and well run that I've ever visited. I don't understand people rating it so low because it's so much better than others in the area. It has a very clean play area for children, it is located in a safe neighborhood, and it is faster with service. I stopped in real quick to get a salad and was waited on by this sweet cute girl. I gather she was mexican.knew enough english to get by and was gracious through the whole order. I forgot apples for the horses yes just complicated things by talking fast blurting out " I need apples!. Went to the restroom while she was packing up ten orders of them. McDonald's been there for quite a while but still, the restrooms we're imaculant, and smelled not like bathroom cleaner but just nice to smell a clean bathroom. Got my apples and left. Ten minutes later I realized I didn't have my purse. Turned around went back, and was greeted by one of the nicest mcdolads manager ever. They had my purse. That's a rarety theses days. So I just went thru the drive thru and received no customer service from the girl handing my food to me . By no customer service I mean she didn't say hi , make eye contact or anything which I feel is rude especially when people are patiently waiting in a busy drive thru at that . Then to top it off my hamburger has two top buns smh . If the customer service was at least nice I wouldn't even be irritated enough to write this review . Hopefully management can have a talk with the girl handing out food and even the kitchen . Worst McDonald's I've experienced.... not my first but 5th time.... Drive thru hours says it closes at 11, I've been there twice before 930 and no one was there to take my order in the drive thru and when I tried going inside the doors were locked but I can see people in there hiding. We asked someone working the drive they for their hours and they literally said when it's dead we kinda start closing up and chill in the back..... I was shocked when they said that. I don't order a lot of food, just a usual kids happy meal, drink and a burger.... the kids happy meal didn't come with nuggets.... so I had to run inside and get them. I wasn't going to write a review but my uncle just went there not even an hour ago and he waited 30 mins for his food... they came out and said they forgot to cook his food and bring it out... the manager said his name is Derek. We will be definitely calling corporate to complain and hopefully do something about it. That shopping center is very nice and has a lot of good food places and we like to walk around during the day. If this McDonald's isn't going to change, we can take our business elsewhere and not shop in that center. read more

Don't drink the mc cafe! They dropped a few hundred mc cafe cups on the dirty, wet floor while I was sitting in thr drive thru. Picked them all up and stacked them ready to serve customers. How can someone make a McFlurry and expect to pay $5 and not put extra caramel and brownie bits and not mixed it , when you added to your mobile order for extra. Moved to the area 6 months ago and this has to be the friendliest McDonald's we have ever been too, great crew and the food is always fresh and fast. The drive thru crew even offers salt and pepper for your fries! That was a sweet surprise for me :) CONS: the restaurant does need updating and the playland is very wore down... read more

Every time I come to this McDonald's I wonder how this location stays open. This location does not offer hot chocolate or any of their specialty coffees. Just plain coffee like it's 1980. I haven't been to a McDonald's in 20+ years that didn't offer at least hot chocolate. In the past this location was closed more than once hours before hours posted for closing. My order is often old food or wrong order or special order not done. They might be the only location in my area. So I drive 5 miles to get a real McDonald's. Pulled into drive-thru at 8:45pm, 4th car in line. Both menu board lights were off, couldn't read anything. Took 11 minutes to get to first window which was wide open but there was no employee. Sat there waiting about 4 minutes until car in front of me pulled away. Guy dressed like shift manager took my payment at second window and put it in counter register because they seemed to be sharing a till. Tried to let him know about both issues and he cut me off twice. They looked short-handed but no one was moving very fast, just talking to each other and taking their time. read more

Everything is bad, the caramel ice coffee tastes like coffee flavor ice water, the fries was refried left overs. I have been to this store several times with no luck be treated to these terrible garbage. I even saw one of the staff walked out to smoking and back to work without wash her hands.
