i've had pretty decent experiences at other locations but I don't really go to this one. I ordered in store at 2:15. My pick up time was at 2:25 but didn't end up getting it until 2:45. The employees were having a dispute about which orders were for to go and which orders had already been sent out. My review is for the Habit in Granite Bay - on the corner of Sierra College and Douglas. My family is a fan of Habit in general and we usually go to a different one nearby. Today I ordered lunch online at this Habit. I will not come to this one again. The restaurant is in the shopping center with Nugget and there is a parking lot. The parking gets tight at lunchtime! Easy to find, and easy access. I did online ordering which was easy - and fast. You can choose every single customization for your burger and sides. I got a burger and onion rings. Only two things. They took some time to be ready - about 14 minutes. I figured they must be busy - but no. I was the only customer inside at lunch time. Both of my items were not good and I ended up throwing my lunch away. I got it to go of course, so I didn't know it was bad until I was far away already. My burger had onions (I requested no onions) and it had mayonnaise (I requested no mayonnaise). My burger had no tomatoes (I requested tomatoes).... The onions were slimy and plentiful so I was not able to just pick them off. the onion rings were burnt and soaking wet with oil. Inedible really. Hard to mess up two items when there are no other customers. The employee who helped me was friendly. The store appeared clean. But what matters is that your food is correct! read more

My husband and I come here once a week. The service was good but not today. When we came in I was the 4th person standing in line. They have computer to order but I don't like using as I want to interact with Human. There's 3 ladies cooking, preparing but there only 1 expediting/cashier. She will take one order at a time then bag orders taking as long as she needs to. By the time it came my turn it was 20 minutes later. I can understand she is trying to do her job but it was not excuse. The way it looks this place is not capable of rush hour or rush of mass customer. What bugs me the lady cashier don't have even smile on her face, just cold stare nor did say anything about the long delay. To make matter worse by the time we got our order my burger is cold to touch and my husband's bbq chicken on his salad is cold to touch. The employees at this location are always so nice and polite. There was a small issue with my order, it wasn't a big deal, but they treated it as a big deal and made sure to not only correct my order but also give me a coupon for a free burger in the future. Their app is not very user friendly. I do not like that you cannot complain about your food through the app. You have to call and then they tell you to come back in and they will fix it. I do not have time to come back in, I wasted practically my entire break waiting for my food to be ready and driving back to work. The wraps are garbage, they use the same shredded lettuce and they heat the whole wrap up on the grill to get the tortilla crispy but it leaves the lettuce limp and soggy. I took 1 bite and literally spit it out, gross. No one wants soggy lettuce on a chicken ceasar salad wrap. Also ordered the new salted carmel milkshake and it just looked like a vanilla shake, nothing like the picture and tasted like condensed milk. We came back after receiving chartickets to give it another chance and they seem to really have turned it around. Brandon in particular was a very helpful, efficient, and friendly. The wait was much faster and the food was great! It was just as busy as last time but they've either hired new or better people, because there's a noticeable difference. The Habit used to be a favorite spot of ours but with the recent visit unfortunately it will be our last. The employee that took our order was friendly and the place was clean but the food was not worth the money paid. I always ordered the chicken sandwich on sourdough. Now it's on a bun and so sloppy....unappetizing. The fries so small now and no more $1 ice cream cones. Too bad. I can get a better chicken sandwich at Chilis for less money and equal time. When we are in Granite Bay, the Habit Burger grill is not our go to, but we both wanted a burger, and decided to hit up The Habit. We both have independently been to the habit previously, and we've both had decent meals. The experience that we had together was not only less than favorable, it was just a food nightmare. We placed the order at the counter, and tried to find a clean table to sit at. The restaurant wasn't super busy, but the tables were super dirty. Once we found a smaller table, we waited for our number to be called. I'm not a shake person, but we decided to try their banana shake because it was reminiscent of banana pudding, and the pictures made it look pretty tasty. The shake was ready for us before anything else, and the food followed fairly quickly there after. The shake initially was tasty but quickly it became evident that there was something wrong with it. It definitely was not thick like a shake, but thinner and more watery as if it had literally been watered it down. When I went to the counter and asked about it, I was told that's just how it is. I was kind of flabbergasted that that was the response, and then irritated because the shakes run around six dollars apiece. We both ordered the fried green beans. ( these aren't a shareable for me) These are my favorite menu item, and always a must for me when dining at the habit. The green beans were cold, and tasted like they've been made earlier and had just been sitting there waiting for someone to order them. The burgers... I feel like a burger place if they do anything well, it should be their main staple. I'm trying to figure out how to articulate just how horrible these burgers were. The barbecue bacon char is a main menu, staple, and this was such a huge disappointment. The patty itself was so overcooked that the meat was just hard to even shoe. The bacon was cold, and clearly had been cooked earlier in the day, not cooked for the burger, and then just thrown on the sandwich. The cheese thankfully, was somewhat melted, but the bun itself was burnt on the inside of the bun, and the added onions were also cold. I'm perplexed to how a burger patty can be so overcooked and everything else cold, and then put together and given to a customer. This was the case with both burgers. We both tried eating our burgers, and they were just as unsavory as anticipated. I don't know that I've ever paid for a meal and left it on the table and walked out of the restaurant. Once again, I went to the counter, and took the food with me to show them what was wrong with the entire order, and I was told that's how they prepare their burgers. Again, I've been a long time customer, and I know better, and the fact that they were unwilling to take care of the problem And pretty much did nothing about it, means to me that Customer Service and food quality doesn't matter. We were in the area picking up Ding Tea and happened to walk by the outdoor dining area. Lots of customers were eating outside, since the weather was so mild and pleasant. I said to my husband, "Did you see the guy's onion rings?" since my husband loves onion rings. He said he did. So after picking up our drinks, we spur-of-the-moment decided to dine inside since there were booths open. At first we were going to use the automated kiosk by the front door to place our orders (since there were customers at the register), but there didn't seem to be a way to change french fries in a combo to onion rings. We ended up going up to the counter to order instead. Husband got a charburger with onions rings, I got the teriyaki burger with fries. Drinks were self-serve. We loved the strawberry limeade. Onion rings were amazing (I usually am not too crazy about onion rings but when I bit into one, I was impressed). Fries were good. Burgers were good. They also have ranch dressing upon request. The gentleman that was making the hamburgers and fries he needs to wear Hair net he was. nice working hard, but his hair was way up there and it's like dreadlocks really needs to wear a hair net a plastic one that won't get in the food if his hair can get into food, but the employees were nice. They were working very hard. Just wait there was nobody in there but two people and we waited probably 45 minutes to get our food. They need more help and I think we should get a free meal only because we waited so long the french fries were excellent. My sandwich was fallen apart. It was so soggy the bread. Used to be to go to burger in Granite Bay, this order was correct but stacking three burgers on top of each other in a small bag is a no-no. Top burger was great, bottom burger was flat. When I picked up the order, I asked for a barbecue sauce on the side because they always forget to put the barbecue sauce on the burger when I order with no mayo.. I was informed that there would be a $.65 charge for barbecue sauce. I looked at my burger in front of the Service rep and confirmed there was no barbecue sauce on the burger. He then asked a woman standing by the shake machine if he could give me a barbecue sauce, I assume this was the manager and she made me pull out my burger again and show her that there was no barbecue sauce before she would give me a barbecue sauce. ...Very poor customer service!!! Habit Burger has been my latest obsession. I've had Habit before, maybe a half dozen times in the past but lately I just can't get enough. It a decently priced great tasting burger. I typically order a Char with Cheese, everything on it and a side of fries. If I were to get a double Char I most likely wouldn't make it through the fries. This location is easy to get to and parking is no prob. I like getting here close to opening before the crowds show up. My order is the Double Charburger with cheese add extra grilled onions (free) and fries. The actual size of the burgers here have gotten smaller over the years, they used to be bigger diameter almost like a Whopper, but now they're about the size of In N Out's buns. The same great taste is still there. That first bite in is just heaven, that cheese melding with the charbroiled flavor of the 2 patties and lettuce and tomato adding texture to the experience. Service is always fast efficient and friendly. Yeah, just like In N Out. The other menu items is what sets this chain apart as well, I mean what fast food can you get Ahi Tuna sandwich or salad?
