Everytime I come for ice cream pass 8 pm they always say it's "unavailable" and it's been like that for the past 3 weeks.

WORST MCDONALDS LOCATION! It will take minimum 10 minutes for you to even get your order in, and if you're in the drive through jeez you'll be waiting like 25+ minutes. Obviously the foods is good, it's mcdonald's but it takes forever to get your food. It takes forever to get an employees attention and the drive through takes FOREVER. It's better to drive to wendy's down the street and get food to save time. read more

7 minutes ago New Horrible manager that worked there today very embarrassing no respect she stood there while there's a big line behind me saying no my name was not on the list for a triple cheeseburger meal when I clearly paid for it and I had the receipt in my hand then she tells me to bring your son in here when I clearly ordered through the drive-through two orders different rewards. She said no he didn't. I was like ma'am he's on FaceTime with me. He gave me his reward and I used mine. Where is my food very disrespectful and this is not the first time they made that mistake.! Ordered through the app to pick up from the drive thru. They told me to pull up to the window to get my food and when I did they told me to pull into a parking spot and that someone would bring out my food. 20 minutes later and no one had brought me my food. They had an Uber Eat special so we ordered for delivery tonight. Ordered the Grilled Artesian Chicken Sandwich and the special McDonald's giveaway. The Quarter Pounder and McNuggets were fine. We received some buttermilk chicken instead of a grilled one. No giveaway (less than 90 minutes from start). I'm sure some other family got our correct chicken sandwich and likely our giveaway. Wait times for the drive thru can very but in all honestly it's located next to a grocery store and a very busy street so it's understandable for it to get busy. Most people will complain but I don't mind sitting in my car jamming to music. The workers are human too and I understand that. The surrounding stops signs could use some work though, I don't think most people pay attention. Besides the point, I come here pretty often to order a plain #7 for my autistic brother and I get myself a couple McDoubles with fries. The food never disappoints and tastes alright. It's messed up on how many times these people keep messing up my order, every time I order from them. literally just placed an order through DoorDash, and they only gave my dasher the food part of my order, but never gave them the 4 shakes that I ordered. so I call them, and they tell me "oh your other bag is here with your drinks, you can have a dasher bring them to you or you can pick them up from the store, but we close in 5 minutes". like no, I'm not about to drive across town, late at night to pick up the drinks I paid for that was supposed to be with the rest of my order. considering it was an expensive order in the first place. and then they also left out the sauce for my nuggets and we received no napkins either. this is like the 5th or 6th time they have screwed up my order. like for real McDonald's, get it together!!!! I ordered a number 10 in the morning & I get to the window and the man reads back my order which was the number 10. I get home & find out it's not the number 10. I call the manager, which was a lady. I explained what happened. So she went to check the order to verify with my receipt. She comes back & tells me they gave me a number 11 instead & that there is nothing she can do. I tell her how is it my fault when I say number 10 & when I get to the window & the man reads my order back to me as a number 10, how is that my fault? She still proceeds to tell me there is nothing she can do. I tell her it's not good service & especially coming from a so called manager that can't make the the situation right. I've had a couple other problems before from this location but the managers at the time always fixed the problem. This is very unprofessional by any means. The lady in the drive through was very rude and unhelpful. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my mobile order and she just kept saying "I can't help you" in a very rude tone. So McDonald's has this game where they email you your prize if you win. One of the rules says you can show it in your phone or print it out. Go in and show it on the phone and they don't accept it. This place has gone downhill. Sometimes they will say the code you get for rating them is not good as well. Well, bought a coke anyway just so I could rate them online. Guess what, it's going to be all bad. They should be cut to $5.00 an hour. Do not support the $15 an hour movement. There's a reason this is considered entry level. Burgers are good and everything comes out fast but this is one of the McDonald's that uses the frying grease too long and it leaves a weird smell on the fries and nuggets. Talked to the manager and had to get refunds or non fried items, usually try to go to the grayslake location as they replace the oil more routinely. read more
