I love this Starbucks. Always good drinks and friendly staff. I live 3 minutes from here and take family and friends thru the drive thru when they visit. I honestly don't think the wait is that bad. All Starbucks take time in the drive thru. It's what it is. You have to know when the slow times are and go then. Obviously if you go at 10am on a Saturday your going to wait, you will wait at all of them then. This store is being remodeled which is a bummer because they are temporarily closed for another week. Like other drive-through strip mall Starbucks, this one is mediocre. I have to also notice that many of the YELP reviews for this Starbucks are mediocre, note how many are 3 stars or better with only complaints about how bad the place is. It doesn't make sense unless they liked the fact that they didn't get good service, but maybe that is what some people are looking for at Starbucks. But anyway this Starbucks like pretty much all drive through Starbucks I've been to isn't very good at the drive-through part. It's slow and they haven't gotten my order right in two of the three times I've been here. Service is better and more accurate walking in, so that's really what I recommend if espresso or latte is what you want and Dunkin' Donuts isn't. However, if you want just regular black coffee with bad service drive through, then there are two Dunkin' Donuts not far from here. read more

Love love love love this location. I stop in around 6 am on the work week. The drive thru is always busy but I never have to wait inside. Everyone one of the baristas are super friendly. I bring my own hot or cold cup and I never get any grief about filling it. My order is always correct and executed professionally. If you do bring your own cup you get a .10 discount. This is by far the slowest Starbucks I've ever been to. I stop at a Starbucks 5-7 days per week and sometimes twice in the same day. I try to avoid this Starbucks whenever possible even if it means going out of my to get to another one. This week, I have been to this location twice...only because they have the Strawberry Açaí refresher and the surrounding locations are out. I waited in the drive-thru line for 5 minutes without even moving and it took a total of 20-25 minutes to get out of the drive-thru with my drink (12/24). Today it took about 10 minutes. Having been to so many other locations and NEVER having to wait as long as at this location (no matter how long the line is), I will continue to try to avoid this location. read more

Coffee is great, atmosphere is calming and nice and the service is as outstanding as ever! This Starbucks is the same as all the others- excellent! It's clean, it's nice inside and the drive-thru doesn't hurt! But, I do have to say they work very slowly. I'm glad they make the extra effort to make our coffee to a near perfection but it shouldn't take them 5 minutes to make a coffee. When I was there the other day going through drive-thru, it took about 10 minutes of waiting in line and everything to get my coffee. Sure, it's worth it but I don't give this Starbucks that fifth star, mainly because they don't work quick enough- they are extremely nice and friendly though which I really like because I feel welcomed and appreciated! Oh, and by the way, don't bring groups there! The inside isn't all that big so I wouldn't recommend a group of more than 4 or 5 going in, you might be a bit crammed and jammed in. While I'm usually satisfied at this location I'm very frustrated today with my order. I specifically ordered pumpkin bread at the drive thru. Apparently, they were out but they did not tell me. Instead they just gave me banana bread. Didn't ask and didn't even tell me they changed it. Just decided to make the switch. Having no reason to believe it was anything else I took a bite only to notice immediately it was not what I ordered. I don't order banana bread bc of an allergy. Do better. This is my go to for local coffee, only because there's a limited amount of better quality options in my area unfortunately. I find more and more that Starbucks is not my favorite coffee, but what I do like, they do well and accurately at this location. Hubby loves the hot chai (tell them "no water" if you don't want it diluted cuz they do that with the chai in their process), and I enjoy the mocha latte and crave the hot Carmel apple cider (not coffee). But staff is friendly so that is very helpful. So now I just get a Strawberry Refresher and that is pretty good. The drive through is located at the back of the building complex, and right beside a Metra rail line so during the morning and evening commute times it's hard for the drive up window employee to hear you. It is located on a busy road, but there are two entrances, but keep in mind parking is very limited and the parking lot consistently has pot holes. This location is very convenient for my ride into work and I enjoy the early morning crew, Michale is great, so I consistently come back. read more

I've been to this location a few times and they're always running out of things (even straws at one point) or messing up my order but the staff members are always friendly so I'm patient with them and I get it, mistakes happen and they're not always going to have everything in stock. But the other day I was upset because I ordered my drink in the drive through and waited in line for at least 20 minutes. When I finally got up to the window and got my drink, my order was wrong... After that long wait, I was expecting the right drink and didn't have time to go back around and have them fix it. If you don't have a lot of time, I'd recommend going to another location. This place is fast. I'll give them that. They also never make mistakes with my orders. But today, I had to say something. CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATES before you consume any of their prepackaged food. I ordered a protein box at the drive thru. They gave me one that was sporting a sticker reading "ENJOY BY 09 02" and today is the 3rd. So, luckily I noticed and said this says it's expired. The response I got was a hand wave and an "oh, it's fine. Don't worry." I politely stated that I'd much rather eat one that isn't expired. She switched it. But, come on! Why would you even give that out? IMO that should have been pulled and discarded before it could have even been offered to someone to consume. A few weeks ago I went through the drive through and the person in front of me left trash on the window, the woman at the window threw the trash out at my car!! I normally do not rate chain places, but I had to rate this Starbucks. You see, I'm a girl who is in love with her coffee/espresso. No, not "love". I am IN LOVE. And Starbucks is my weekly (sometimes more than once a week) treat to myself. And the way I feel is "You never mess with my coffee!". Every time I have gone here the baristas have been polite and fast. Only once have they messed up my order. And when they did I called and the manager gave me 2 free drinks for my next visit. Pretty solid. I've been through this drive-through locations many times, and everything is always standard/consistent.

They are out of almost everything and the drive through takes about 30 minutes at that point they should have the car on front pull over,don't come if you want the dragonfruit refresher or anything at all.this is absolutely absurd and customer service is Down the drain.Coorprate should be involved immediately the lack of menu items and service is crazy.Go to gurnee if u want anything!! read more
