SLOW doesn't even describe this place. Ive lived in the area since February 2026. Probably been here 5 times. 1 time, they had no soda, but you could order ice tea. 2 time, no ice cream. No milkshakes, no frappes, nothing. Today they asked me to wait while they cooked my burger. They forgot I was waiting. I had to honk my horn & they admitted they forgot i was waiting. First off. Nine times out of 10 their shake machine and or soda machine is broken. So if you come here do not expect to be able to choose your drink. Also, the employees are so beyond unprofessional. You can wait at the drive-through in the silence of your own car, or you can go inside and have the pleasure of hearing employees using profanity and talking about how they're not staying a minute past their shift and everything that they're gonna do once they leave and what's going on in their life. I don't eat McDonald's often but the occasions when I go from time to time, show me that I made the right choice by not making this a frequently visited establishment. Too bad too because they had a really good run for a while where they seem to have it together. The food doesn't even spoil so we're all probably best off avoiding it altogether. If you have a choice avoid this location. Consistently slow, whether in-store or drive-thru, fries always underdone, and staff always seems to be doing anything other than customer service. Kiosk printers never work, so you have to make sure you remember the number. And even though I always make sure to ask for honey mustard with my grandson's Happy Meal I always have to ask again when getting the food, which is usually cold by the time I drive the 5 minutes to my house! read more

i normally don't leave reviews, but i felt like i needed to warn people. i was served a burger that was noticeably undercooked/raw in the middle. this is a serious food safety issue, especially since i've heard similar complaints about this location before. i'm not posting this for free food or anything, i'm just letting people know so hopefully it doesn't happen to someone else. i have also reported the incident to the FDA because this appears to be a recurring problem. very disappointed. read more

Place is NOT open 24/7. Sure there are people inside but they do not answer on drive thru. Go to sheetz instead.

They are slow, inefficient, and out of products. Took over 20 minutes to get through drive thru.

Service is abysmal. Management should be ashamed.... Twice now nearly 30 minutes at the drive thru for an app order of one sandwich. Kicker, only three cars total at the double drive through. Today I went inside to see the utter chaos and confusion within. Rude to me, rude to other customers. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary behavior from employees. From yelling in frustration to standing around doing nothing the employees are ridiculous. An upgrade in management is needed immediately. They will take your order than after waiting in line for 45 minutes not be able to fill it and not able to refund your CC or Debit card. Locals in this area have given up on this location years ago. Worst McDonald's I ever been too and unfortunately it's the only fast food place in Ladysmith right now. Ordered/ paid at 7:33. Pulled up to window. Was given the kids meal and my drink. Waited at that window for almost 5 minutes then was told to pull up to the 3rd window. Waited there for 10 more minutes before parking and going in. Went inside and the person who was "bagging" meals was standing there looking at her phone eating. Another lady came over and I explained that 15+ minutes for a meal is ridiculous to wait. Why did I have to wait so long for a blasted biscuit. I ordered at 8:24am and received what I ordered at 8:58am. People came in after me got food, left. And I'm still standing patiently. When I did ask a question I was spoken to harshly by the older black lady with the short red hair. I went to Ladysmith McDonald's on 3-09 they had a full house but still served me in a timely manner and just the simple fact that they all had smiles and unlike most McDonald during rush hour yelling and fussing they all knew where they needed to be and who was doing what things ran smoothly :) I'm so happy I chose to come here to Ladysmith Mc.Donalds over any of the other ones near by !! they greeted us with a smile we laughed with them they took the time to communicate with our entire family esp. the babies jewls Christine Gina yall are amazing ladies and the cooks in the back were on top of their game keep up the amazing work we will definitely be back!! read more

I've been waiting in this drive through, just sitting in front of the order screen, for a half hour. Cars aren't moving at all, and I've literally been at the front of this line for over a half hour with no movement. I understand being understaffed, I understand slow downs, but I haven't even been able to order. A newly opened McDonalds just off Interstate 95 and Ladysmith Rd/Route 639, exit 110. Easy on and off from the Interstate and the drive thru is 24 hours. I got me a cheeseburger and the pumpkin spice latte which was very good. The staff is new so give them a few weeks to get some experience. read more

Don't go here!! The manager is so rude. They ignore you at the register and want you to use the kiosk. I don't use the kiosk because of so many people touching them. Literally stood there forever over 10 minutes and it wasn't until I said something to my husband that someone came. The fact that they saw us standing there with a 6 year old and ignored us after looking at us a few times is ridiculous. It's rude and not good customer service at all.
