I been to this restaurant for years now, to the point that my grandmother used to take me here. This is just a great McDonald's, the food is great (my grandmother's favorite was actually the ice cream cone, as well as mine). And the ambience has always been calm and homey in the morning, and usually a bit busy and noisy on the afternoons because of all the students, then at the evening it's usually all calm again. At least to what I seen. The service is awesome. I do have to apologize because when my grandmother was alive and used to take me to this McDonald's, she used to fight with the manager and the employees A LOT about her coffee and the prices. My grandmother was a Karen before a the term "Karen" was even a thing. Even with my grandmother being a Karen to the employees and manager. They were never disrespectful to neither me nor my grandmother. And I will always respect and appreciate that. read more

We stopped at this location on the way to Phil Hardberger Park and ordered via app with curbside pickup. We ordered two Happy Meals for the kids and when the meals arrived, I had to ask where the drinks were. The man was surprised that drinks were supposed to come with them. After arriving at the park, we got the food out for the kids. The hamburger had a hair in it and they forgot to put the sauce for the chicken McNuggets. I don't see why the service was so bad tonight but the manager this evening was very irritating. I went in and asked if the food behind her was my order after explaining what the order was and she said,"it looks like it" then she walked away. A bit later I saw her texting on her phone while I was just looking at my food, waiting for someone to hand it to me since it was behind the counter and I couldn't get to it. She also stood right in the way and not to be rude but there was an employee trying to get past her but she took up a lot of space so he couldn't walk past and do his job. This is a place where IF you get what you actually ordered it's a miracle. I'm not kidding, out of 10 orders, 10 will be wrong. Me and my boyfriend go through the drive thru. It's 11AM, my boyfriend really wants an egg white delight and the cashier says of course, "we don't sell egg whites past a certain time sorry". Now when we pull up to pay my boyfriend asks if he can add an orange juice for himself on his order (which you can indeed do. I went through drive through and the lady at the speaker asked me several times what the order code was because she was laughing with other people in the background. After many attempts she finally said I had to go around to the front for pickup orders. I knocked and waited for about 10 minutes and no one had came to the door. I finally was let in by an employee who's shift ended. I told the manager I was here for an order and she kept rudely telling me to "get out you can't be in here". We placed an online order and since I wasn't feeling well my girlfriend went to pick it up. She had the order number but they demanded to see the phone that placed it. I sent a screen shot of the full order code and they still refused. So I canceled the online order and she placed a new order there. It appears they purposefully mis-made one of the sandwiches, fries were half full and ice cold, and gave a sweet tea instead of an unsweet tea likely just out of spite. Highly recommend not going to this location at all. Usually I will grant a huuuge amount of leeway, but this location, from the drive-thru staff to the management was atrocious and feel the franchise owner needs to know. read more

I had a severe allergic reaction after being given the complete wrong order. staff inside were absolutely rude and handled everything the wrong way. the only employee who actually took action was a tall African American fellow they told me was named Mohammed. I arrived there an 1 1/2 early and when it came for the time of my interview I stepped up to the counter and let them know who I was this lady who refused to give me her name and took her name tag off told me that she would not interview me at all and that I should leave. My husband and I have come here a couple times and it's close to where we live so it's pretty convienent if we're craving McDonalds. We've had pretty good customer service at the front counter and the people there are pretty easy going. We've never used their drive thru services so can't say how well they are there. Whenever we've gone (usually later in the day closer to dinner time) their drive thru is busy so we just opt to go inside. The inside of this location is similar to all other McDonalds locations. It's clean enough and has plenty of seating. The food there is similar to a lot of other locations and it can be a bit or miss on how their buns and fries end up. One time you can have really fresh fries and other times you can find that the fries aren't so fresh. We've had great bread as our buns and another time the buns are overly toasted so it seems really hard. I will say that you should check your order before you leave (yes, I understand this should be a general rule for any place like McDonalds) because I have had to go back and get a missing item from my order. Overall, I would recommend ordering at their front counter and checking your order before leaving. read more

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant. read more

A huge public service announcement!!!! I just went to the McDonald's on Blanco Rd and ordered a McChicken and a McDouble and after eating the chicken sandwich, which tasted different than usual, I opened the wrapper to the burger and there were multiple little white bugs almost clear color, crawling on my burger. I went inside and of course went off because Uh hello I just ate one full chicken sandwich that I'm sure had bugs in it too, the manager assured me there was no way there were bugs. I told her to open it and check for herself, which she did, and then replied "well I see bugs in the bag but not on the wrapper." I asked for the health department as well as the corporate number. They gave me a refund and continued to serve the 20 or more people that were in the drive thru. I am in disbelief right now. read more
