This sharp bone

I found a little bone in my tender that i literally started choked and coughed on trying so hard to get it unstuck from my throat absolutely scary will not eat here again

I ordered online never received my 54$ order because their app messed up I have called store like app says customer service no response WHERE IS MY MONEY!!! SERVICE IS GREAT INSIDE VERY FRESH FOOD SO I ,thought I'd order online never again. This is ridiculous. What do I have to do to get my money back!!!File a consumer complaint?

Chicken Sandwich

I have a few concerns, but I would like to start off with the positives. Irasema was very pleasant. I want to say good morning to everyone to start off the day cause you never know what's going on with a person. Pleasantly, she responded back to me with a good morning and made conversation with me too. The store was clean as well. I've heard so many horror stories about the surrounding Church's restaurants in San Antonio, but this one turned out to be great. She gave me a complimentary beverage since I had to wait on my food!!!! Now on to the food which I could live with since the service was great but, unfortunately, I won't return. Again, it's not because of the staff, but because of the food that I give this location a low rating. The Mac and cheese said baked. I don't think that it was cooked enough to be baked. It was watered down. The fries were soggy and not crunchy. The biscuits seemed to taste like flour and not honey. The chicken sandwich was over saturated with mayo. And, the chicken wasn't crispy. I went in when the restaurant opened so everything should've been fresh. I believe the reason that all of my food turned out this was that everything was packed in one bag so all of the heat created the sogginess minus the mac n cheese.

Apparently this location allows walk up and bike thru orders. BTW they got their food....we are still waiting for ours....

Have came here about 8 times throughout the year. Have had nothing but great experiences…read more I know recently, the news article reported they are struggling to maintain afloat. I'll list pros & cons here and a few suggestions: Pros: -there are plenty of flavors, both their specialty and their 10+ sauce/rub options -indoor seating with a few TVs to watch sports Cons(which in my opinion are issues which can be solved): -because there's lots of flavor options, there is a major holdup in the kitchen. Especially if there's large groups of people eating lunch. We've spent over 45 minutes waiting for our food at times which has caused us to withhold going if we know we have a meeting scheduled after lunch. It's also cutting it close for the hourly workers who have to clock in-clock out for their lunch hour. -there is no "lunch menu", everything is à la carte which can make it a bit pricey. How to solve issues: -downsize menu options. Less items to cook means shorter wait times. -create a lunch menu. This would also speed up the process as well as create a fixed cost. Easily you can spend $20-$25 on lunch when you add fries and a drink. I love wings; this is the best wing spot in town hands down. There are things they can do to improve, we are all pulling for their success!

I had heard about this place from a couple people & recently saw a post from the owner saying the…read morebusiness is not doing well. This prompted a spontaneous trip out here to support a local business. Location & Parking: It is definitely on a weird lot and there is not much space in the lot for parking. We parked across the street but heads up that business will come put a "Do not Park here" Post-It note on your window lol. (There are NO signs that say you can't) Ambiance: When you walk into the main dining room, to your left is the counter for pick up & to-go orders. They do have a nice enclosed outdoor patio that's has plenty of seating. Plenty of indoor seating too. Seating is open, so you can sit wherever you want. Food & Service: We were greeted fairly quickly and given menu and drinks. We ordered the 'Fried Pickles' for an appetizer, these were tasty! And after we received the pickles the service kind of started to lag, and our first server disappeared.. We finally ordered our wings with a new server, which I don't mind waiting but it seemed like a pretty long time. And now for the main course... We split the 'Hot Cheetos', did half 'Cajun Dry Rub' and half 'Citrus Buffalo'. I gotta say we were VERY underwhelmed with the Cheeto and Cajun flavoring. They picture SO well but the flavor is just not there. The Citrus one was the tastier of the 3. The saving grace for our meal was the fact that the actual chicken wing meat was delicious. We paid $40 for everything. Personally, I think they could be very successful in a different location & if they had a Chef tweak their flavor profiles just a tad to give it that depth. I'd hate to see a unique place like this go out of business completely but I understand how other people don't frequent this place.

Ahhh yes, the Anchor Bar. The self proclaimed home of the Buffalo wing…read more That is a bold statement. Would it hold up in court? Yes. The court rests. Came in with a couple of coworkers and my best mate, Tommy Tough Knuckles. If you are going to put a place like this on trial, you bring witnesses. The beer: Bud Light on tap was phenomenal. Cold, clean, exactly what you want when wings are involved. Most of the table went with micheladas, which felt like the right move at the time and honestly looked fantastic. If you are in a wings bar that knows what it is doing, you trust the michelada crowd. The appetizer: First timers get treated right here. Our server brought out the pizza roll appetizer on the house, which is essentially an egg roll stuffed with pizza goodness. Crunchy shell, molten cheese center, zero notes. A dangerous starter in the best way possible. Ten out of ten. The wings: Twenty traditional wings. Fifteen Buffalo hot, five lemon pepper. Let's be honest. When Buffalo hot comes out in Buffalo, expectations are sky high. I would not have minded a touch more heat, but the flavor absolutely carried the day. These were balanced, buttery, and deeply satisfying wings that remind you why this style became the standard. The lemon pepper deserves special praise. Too many places drown these wings in seasoning until it feels like a science experiment. Not here. Clean, even coverage, bright without overpowering the chicken. Simple, confident, executed properly. Overall wing verdict. Ten out of ten. This place knows exactly who it is. No gimmicks, no reinvention, just history backed up by execution. You come here for wings, beer, and the feeling that you are sitting inside something that actually matters. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I argue with anyone who calls this the home of the Buffalo wing? Not a chance.

I decided on the fourth star because I didn't feel it right deducting a second star just because I may have made the wrong decision on a sauce. I got here right about the time they opened. Seated right away and read a book while awaiting a friend to join. Ultimately, my friend stood me up. I was waited on at perfect intervals during my waiting period. This place is nicer inside than you'd expect just seeing it from the outside. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I ordered the Banban and opted for the Smokey Mayo. I also ordered the white garlic fries, which I found bland, which was surprising given the amount of sauce. Fries came out first. I would have preferred the fries come out with the wings, but the wings took FOREVER. I literally finished my fries before the wings arrived. I think the waitstaff knew it took too long given the apology received when the food arrived. Wouldn't do the Smokey mayo again I just didn't like it. Borderline too spicy (listen to the on the menu) for me. The original was okay. As a matter of fact, I think I enjoyed the wings more as leftovers than I did in the restaurant. Overall: it's okay; I'm glad I tried it. I might go back if a friend wanted to try it. I found the $45 tab kinda high for just me. And to the young employee who decided to do her eye makeup while standing behind in the middle is the restaurant but behind the register, I couldn't care less, but some people might find it unprofessional. This isn't Sephora.

What really stood out were the flavors. Even the hotter sauces had amazing taste. Too many wing spots seem to think "hot" means sacrificing flavor, but Fried Hard nailed both heat and taste. Our favorite flavors were the Hot Lemon Pepper and Memphis Bold. Both were packed with flavor and easily some of the best wings we've had in a long time. The food was so good that during our 4th of July weekend trip, we ended up coming back two days in a row. That's probably the best compliment I can give. We assumed that meant it's like a bar and grill, not just a bar that happens to have a unassociated food window/kitchen at the back. We planned our first ever visit here after family day at the art museum, but the bar staff asked my husband and son to leave while I was trying to find parking (the lot next to the bar is privately owned and charges $19 for 4 hours). That isn't mentioned on their Google page or Facebook page, and on their Instagram, it isn't clear that it is 21+ all the time as it is written right after "late night." I went in on my own to order wings to go. The menu is not written anywhere, and isn't on the website (which would also be a convenient place to mention that anyone under 21 is not allowed on property), so the moved slowly as no one could figure out what they wanted until they reached the only ordering kiosk at the window. Maybe their flavors change frequently? A chalkboard or something would be nice. The wings were very reasonably priced and didn't take overly long. We took them up the road to someplace with picnic tables to eat--only to discover that one of the extra sauces was missing and another was wrong. It would also be helpful if they labeled the different flavors. Maybe it was an off night for the wings, but we didn't get the hype. I think this restaurant is suffering from being too successful too quickly and will hopefully find a way to scale up to accommodate its popularity. Maybe somewhere with menus and access for families. I would try it again at that point, but I can't see going through the inconvenience for their food until then.
