I would have given less, but 1 is the lowest. The staff was not taking orders, they were pushing customers to use the kiosks. Only 1 staff member doing the customer training. This place is filthy and disgusting! Went into the children's play area and had to clean off my own table. Employee saw me cleaning the table and didn't say a word. The trash can was full to the point where other patrons couldn't throw away their trash and just left the trash on their tables. I was there for about an hour while the kids played and the employees saw the trash can and how dirty this play area was and still didn't bother cleaning it! Won't be coming to this McDonalds again! read more

I went on 01/20/2021 thru drive thru and employee was very rude, so I complained to manager and he turned away from me. I asked him did you hear me and he snapped at me that he wasn't going to get after him in front of me. The reason I got the order anyway was cause I promised my grandkid and I will never go McDonald's again. This one is on Pleasanton Road going towards Mission flea market. read more

Ok, I know it's just McDonald's, but there is some level of expectation eating here by now. The food is typical McD quality. The service on the other hand is awful. The kid taking my order (Andy) appeared to have some kind of developmental disorder, or at least I'd like to think he did. He had trouble thinking and talking at the same time, along with any other responsibility he may have had. One thing he was surprisingly good at was reading back to me my order, however entering in what he read back seem to be an issue for him......since my order was completely wrong. After waiting an eternity to get our food it was still wrong. I conveyed my disappointment to the "manager" (Brandon) whose only ability was to stare at me blankly like I was speaking Klingon. The only useful one there was an employee (Isabel) that clearly knew she was working with idiots. She helped right the wrongs of her unreliable co-workers and manager. Hopefully she'll make it out of that dump one day and onto better things.....like Chick Fil-A. On a side note, we were seated next to a fine crop of McDonald's emploee hopefuls that were filling out their apps and puffing away at their prominent vape boxes. This is a poorly run restaurant. I've been there several times and had to wait 20-30 minutes for food. My orders have been wrong more than once. You need to always double check your order. The cleanliness of the store is very poor. The soda area is always filthy and sticky. The ketchup dispenser is filthy as well. Ketchup all over and on the spout. I will say that the food is generally tasty once you get it! This McDonald's could definitely better. read more

These people are so FORGETFUL. I go to this Mcdonalds because its the closest one. It gets 2 stars for having military discount but if it didnt it would be 0. Usually I always check my food before driving off but everytime I don't there is always something missing. They constantly FORGET orders, drinks and fries. Wow just asking for a drink carrier really put the /fast food/ Togo McDonald's employee "Mia" looking very upset. I order 3 meals w "3 drinks" and when I ask for a carrier her exact response "we don't have anymore" w a disdain face and couldn't look me In the eye but a feeling she gave that "I " inconvenienced her for asking. Please note I have a 6 yr old daughter with other bags to carry when I got home so that is why I asked for the carrier. Did not ask just to rain on her parade but her mannerisms really bothered me and to be honest worried if she was or going to ask other employees to do something to our food. This is not acceptable, I come from the restaurant industry "I worked" fast food myself" it can be hectic. It can be overwhelming but you learn from it on how to better yourself. I still give this McDonald's a three star hoping there is a level of service to help your employees you hire not to be rude and making your customers feel like they asked for something that was not ok. Very sad feeling right now. I was young once and I gave my efforts at the bottom to work my way up. Do not go inside to eat during lunch. There is no one at the register if you want to order directly from them, you much use the touch screen and then if you want to pay the cashier you have to go up there. I did this as I had a discount I wanted to use. Manager was annoyed that I did not grab a number from the touch screen. I have never been to a McDonald's that uses this so I had no idea I had to grab a slip of paper and when I told the manger I didn't have it he made me feel like I did something wrong and huffed and puffed that he had to grab the number for me. Had I known I needed a number, I would have grabbed it. Before even paying it did take about 6 minutes to even get someone at the register to cash me out after I did the touch screen order. Other than ordering my food was out quickly and I was happy with the food. The ordering process and rude manager makes me not want to go there again. read more

The drive thru wait times are atrocious; they recently re-added a second lane and yet it took almost 20 minutes for me to make it thru the drive-thru in the morning around 10:30am for breakfast. God forbid you come here on your lunch break, you may not get to eat. read more

Great service employees are very energetic and friendly. The location is very busy and currently under construction making in and out difficult. The other downer is hard to understand; there are lots of transients in the area, they use the diner to wash and ask for money. We use the drive thru only and check our 6. The transients must do well cause they dress like Duck Dynasty. read more

The fries from this location have been tasting rancid lately. Like the oil is old or has been heated too high. Either way it has a soapy-nasty taste. read more

Iv been a loyal Mcdonalds™ customer ever since i was a young child and iv never had an experience like the one iv just experienced. It was around 10pm when my stomach began to cry to me. I didnt hesitate to ask it what it was begging for and was soon told that only Mcdonalds™ could end its suffering. I quickly reached for my keys (which were upstairs) and grabed my jacket before dashing through the door to my yellow jeep aka "The Hornet" and drove the speed limit all the way there. There was a line but i knew that this was only the beginning of the many challenges i would face. Once i pulled up to the window I heard the voice of an angel come out of the menu. I panicked and searched for the source of this beautiful sound and was speedily acknowledged that it was the lady over the intercom. I told the fair maiden what my stomach requested and was swiftly pointed toward the first window. I followed the beautiful sound of the singing siren and was nearly blinded by her beauty. My heart shattered as i gazed apon her magnificence. I handed her my credit card and felt her finger graze mine as she took it. That one split second of contact caused a violent burst of emotion and thoughts of the moments that we would soon share. As she handed me back my card I hesitated to take her hand and propose but i knew that the time was not now. She sent me onward to the second pick-up window where i waited for my stomachs remedy. What seemed like a lifetime passed and soon the window opened . there stood the most foul goul I had ever encountered, this one ten times uglier then my last encounter. I drew my handcannon and taunted the beast before it gave me what my stomach pleaded for and scurried into the darkness. I had the medicine and the joy of completing my mission but the drive back would be my final challenge. I pulled into my driveway and entered my home where i had candles lit for the ceremony. I opened the bag and pulled out the contents. there before me was a ten piece chicken Mcnuggets and a quarterpound sirloin steakhouse burger as well as a large french fry. all that remained to unveil was the buttermilk ranch. I peeked my nose over the bag and was horrified to find that i was given Tangy Barbecue instead. I shed a single tear but caught it in a small bottle. "you have no right to fall from me now" i said. I corked the bottle and set it aside. I began to feed my stomach giving it everything bite by bite. The deed was done and i had finally overcome all my obstacals. I looked down apon my stomach and spoke "what do you think of my offering lord?" to which it replied "i'm lovin' it™" read more

They were out of frappes and parfaits and when I asked them to make me a grilled cheese (I'm a vegetarian) they got all confused and I had to explain that I literally just wanted two melted slices of cheese between two buns. When I finally got it after waiting for like 10 minutes they had basically just put a cold slice of cheese between two buns. It was gross and I threw it away without eating. As we were leaving San Antonio to return home to San Angelo, Texas, we stopped at McDonald's at the Rim and encountered the most friendly, professional employee ever in a McDonald's. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. Justin was very pleased to make us a fresh cup of coffee and fix our ice cream treats. He told us to sit down and he brought everything to us. The coffee had to make and he made us a sundae and an ice cream cone. We were very tired from a day of doctor appts. which is why we were in San Antonio. It was so nice to start our 3 hour trip home with a hot cup of coffee, delicious ice cream, and an extra courteous and friendly McDonald's employee!!! This has always been our favorite McDonald's. read more

Went at 05:15 in the morning through the drive thru. Wait a few minutes and the order taker takes the person's order who arrived after me first. I mention this and he goes "Awe". Wait another 5 minutes and not a peep. After that I decide to pull up to the window behind the car whose order was taken first. Another 10 minutes go by and the car at the window finally leaves. During those 15 minutes another 2 cars leave the drive thru not wanting to wait any longer. Turns out the order taker is the manager. Finally place my order and the manager is coughing all over his hands and everything. Come to realize he's making the food without gloves and he didn't even wash his hands. I said no thank you please give me a refund. Complete waste of 20 minutes with no food to speak of. Unprofessional, slow staff, who needs to be refreshed on food handling practices. Plus, what ever happened to fast food service. No one should wait 20 minutes for food at 5 in the morning. Totally disappointed. read more
