I'm Hatin' It I don't eat fast food that often, but I do occasionally partake, maybe a half-dozen or so times a year. And when I do, I rarely bother writing a review unless the visit was particularly great or particularly bad. This was the latter. We arrived for lunch the other day and it was a complete shit-show. The Good: * This had nothing to do with the employees, as the three ladies working were busting their asses trying to get the orders out. They were just completely overwhelmed because they were understaffed for the amount of business they get at that hour. If management is reading this, they all did the best they could and maintained a good attitude. * Once the food came out, it was actually hot and fresh. * You can still order here through the app despite the no kiosk thing, but it seemed like they were having issues getting the online orders. The Meh: * No drive-thru at this location (not that it would've helped) * Another stupid move by McShitz® management is they took away the soda machine for customers to fill their own drinks. So now the already shorthanded staff has another thing to deal with. The Ugly: * No self-ordering kiosks, which could've helped tremendously, as when you only have three employees and one of them has to be taking orders during the lunch rush, it really puts the other two behind the eight ball. * There's some sus-ass activity going on around this McShitz, so lock your car and watch your food. I've seen (alleged) meth heads just walk right up and yoink people's orders as they come up on the counter, and dip out. Conclusion: Basic math: Bad management plus shorthanded staff equals not happy customers. read more

With my friend today at y drive thru. She needed a burger fast. She is diabetic and needed help. We ordered burger. To our dismay her card was declined? So we scraped up change and went back. This is mcdonalds at curtner by Fairgrounds in the plant. Can y believe the manager took her burger away from my friend. Thank God we got the change. I told manager give her burger and I will run to bank and come and pay them. Took burger back. Come on Mcdonalds you are a multi-million dollar business. Stopped in on our way out of town to get a drink and use the restroom. My review is in their bathroom. So they had no toilet paper in restroom and when I went to wash my hands there was no soap in the soap dispenser. Which was under a sign that says all employees must wash their hands before returning to work. My question is how do employees wash their hands if there is no soap. Gross! I let an employee know that was delivering food to curbside outside as to not embarrass the workers that were waiting on customers. read more

This McDonalds is interesting... Food was good but there's no self ordering kiosk and it was more of an older style McDonalds.

Sometimes I called this the fancy McDonald's because it has an outdoor patio. The outdoor patio is where the playland used to be, but if I recall correctly during the pandemic, they tore out the playland and just put some tables there for outdoor seating. Unfortunately, they also took out the self service, drink machines, and left an awkward table in its place. Apart from that, this is a normal McDonald's and you know exactly what you're going to get when you walk in the door. Sometimes there are strange delays and getting the food but most of the time it's what one would expect. I usually order using the app to try to make things as sufficient for myself as possible. I see that there has been a sign outside for about a year now saying that they want to tear this McDonald's down and replace it with a double lane drive-through. That seems like a bad idea to me because this is a very busy intersection and a double lane drive-through and what is a fairly small lot is going to be a lot of vehicle traffic. read more

Im a honest respectful person I order ahead because my time is very limited the app said my order was ready I told my son please get down and get it they had him waiting for 10mn I told my son come back I go. I went and got approved by Manuel Manuel said can you please give me a minute I just said maybe next time don't confirm the order if it's not ready and he seemed super upset as is he was a victim super rude I only stopped by because on my way towards where I was heading definitely don't recommend coming unless you guys love to be approached by this kind of service .never have I ever had altercations by these especially because I order mc Donald's a lot but I. Look, nobody is on Yelp to see what the food is like at McDonald's -- it's a famous franchise and the food is consistent everywhere. We like this location for the service. There is no drive thru here, and that should've been a bad thing, but this place is actually really fast with counter pickup for mobile orders. So even though I have to park and get out of the car, it feels like we get the food faster because it's usually ready to go when we arrive. The food is McDonald's. No further comment needed. The place was slammed. One cashier with a line of 15.. Their music system was (is) broken but it continues to just make pulsating noises. The place is fine, a bit plain, but the food is still McDonalds. Oh, they are going to be rebuilding the entire McDonald's next year so this might be not that relevant then The service can be a bit slow, and they don't have a self-serve soda machine so you have to ask for a refill. And sometimes they say you can only have one refill. It's a shame since they used to have a self serve cocola machine (which I loved). The vibe is ok, nothing really that special but it works. Went today with my barely-kempt family of five drowsey and jet lagged from Germany return. Wonderful Sam helped us and had no impatience with me at all. Even when I refused any drinks and later asked for 4 water cups after she'd finished all our food, she didn't make a rude face. She got those quickly. And when there were hasbrowns missing (emergency!) she was a blur getting new ones and knew exactly how many were missing better than I did! Later we chatted about her relatives in Germany. Such a joy to talk to her! Ten stars! I've been to this McDonald's a few times over the years and it's not very clean (old and one boarded window) and lately always missing a baby chair but don't know it. Placed a mobile order for curbside pick up. I arrived less than 15 minutes later. I was unable to notify the app that I had arrived. When I went to the counter, the store had closed out my order, did not give me the food, and refused to offer a refund or customer service hotline to resolve the issue. They cited a mobile order issue and said "Well, that just happens sometimes. You should get a refund in 2 hours". Well, it's 5 days later. I have not received a refund and disappointed in the handling of my order. It seemed shady. Also, if you are in the area, don't waste your time here. Go to the Union location. They are friendly, have never messed up mobile orders, and the food is fresher. read more

Soooo, it's a pandemic and you're a McDonald's that doesn't have a drive through. You plaster signs all over saying "Drive Up and Go" to entice those who would *normally* drive past in search of a drive through because they have a 4.5 month old baby with them in the car and they don't want to unbuckle and bring a baby inside to order a cheeseburger. What would you do if you owned or managed this McDonald's? Well, I personally would make it easy for folks to order and get food delivered to their car. BUT NO, this McDonald's wanted to make it more "adventurous" for a busy mom. The drive up parking spots don't have numbers, so when you check in to pick up your mobile order and it asks which parking spot you're in YOU HAVE NO CLUE. So you end up unloading a 4.5 month old baby only to go in to make sure you get the food you paid for and simultaneously ENSURE that customer will never again grace your location with their cash. 2 stars only because the employees were at least upfront about acknowledging management's complete failure in doing THEIR ONE JOB when it comes to serving drive up and go customers properly. I'm a long-time customer who walks from home to grab a quick meal here all the time. But I won't be coming back. Due to her language skills, the lady "helping" me kept throwing up her hands when she couldn't understand me, then deliberately turned her back and acted like she couldn't hear me while she attended to some imaginary stuff. I had a deal to scan open on my app, but had to close it to show her what hot chocolate was (lol?) yeah loooong story short, she said "talk to my manager" that manager also didn't understand English so I switched over to school-girl Spanish.
