Haven't been to Five Guys in a long while so came by to give it a try. We ordered a little burger, little cheeseburger and regular fry. The bill was practically $30. Service was quick and painless but will say the workers were having a grand time laughing and carrying on behind the counter. In fact, one gal took two orders and compiled the orders while she was on a personal call. She was even tending to the fryer! This in my opinion isn't best practices. The restaurant was clean with few patrons. We received our burgers and fry. They were hot and tasty. The food rating is a 3/5 but I'm sorry to say the overall low rating is due to inappropriate work ethics while handling food. read more

I've visited this Five Guys locations a few times over the past few months, and I've always had a great experience. The food is always made fresh, the cashiers and employees are always friendly and patient with requests on my order, and the seating area is clean. Today, I specifically ordered a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, no bun, "All the way" with no mayo, less ketchup and mustard, raw onions in place of grilled onions, and jalapeños, with a small order of lightly salted fries. The order came out about 5-7 minutes later. I do need to point out that I usually visit during off-hours times - today, I dropped by around 3:30 PM and there were no customers. I would usually drop by after lunch on a weekday the other few times, so I can speak to the quality and service during off-hours. read more

I swear good managers are a dying breed. Well, not at this location of Five Guys. This evening we experienced a disagreement about a Five Guys policy that to us seemed unfair. The manager was very kind and patient while explaining the policy and offering accommodation. Fast forward to us getting home with our order and realizing there were some items missing. Look, when our food is made by humans, we understand mistakes happen. So, even though I was thoroughly annoyed, all I really wanted was a refund for the extra items I purchased and did not receive, which I got no problem after talking with an associate. I was pleased with the outcome. What I did not expect was the manager calling me back to apologize and confirm the refund. While I have high standards for the customer service I provide in my professional life, I absolutely do not expect the same level of care and attention when I'm the customer (not in today's world). The nerve of this place to ask for a tip! It wasn't my first time here, but I needed to find a hot dog and decided Costco would be too easy. I guess. So Five Guys was it. First off, these prices are insane. The quality does not justify them at all. Maybe it's needed to pay for 6 people working with 3 customers (including me)? I don't know. But let's be honest, In-N-Out is better, fresher, and so much cheaper. Location is the only thing this place has going for it. Second, my order of small fries, a hot dog, and cheeseburger took 15 minutes to make. With nobody in line. Fast food quality with restaurant prices and wait times is not ideal. Finally, the food was somehow worse than I remembered. The burger has no flavor, the bun was a soggy mess, and the cheese wasn't even melted. Seriously they are not even at McDonalds quality. My First time here and got to say that this is a step up on the Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers we like to eat. The prices are a little more than the In and Out and other burger places but worth it. I will be back. Most of them come with double patties unless you order a single one. The meat was a great taste of beef. The extras they put on are delish. Grilled mushrooms with the lettuce, tomato and onions and pickles with some mustard took my experience to another level. The milk shakes tasted like a milk shake. Not all thick and MALT like the other places that sell shakes. They have different flavors too. They also sell hot dogs. The fries with cajun salt spice added were NOM NOM city. The small fries could feed 2 people. The facility was clean and location was of course the Almaden Plaza where a Costco, Trader Joes and Lazy Dog and a bunch of other businesses are operating. Had a great experience at this Five Guys! Arrived here for a late breakfast around 11:30 am. Pretty empty so I didn't have to wait in line. I wanted to try their Patty Melt and it took about 8-10 minutes for my order to be called up. Hot, fresh, and delicious. This review is only for the food. The kids that worked there were nice. The food was awful. Our burgers were so greasy, the lettuce was limp/wilted, the buns were soaked through with grease. Also, I asked for mine "extra well done", and they said "all our burgers are cooked well done." I asked again if I could please have extra well done, they said no problem. One of my patties was literally pink inside. This is my second experience with awful food at this location. This is a good place for burgers if you're going to have fast food. It takes a lot longer to get your food but that's because it's made fresh per order. Their burgers are full of flavor and they use toasted sesame seed buns which I like. Their fries are really good too. You get a lot of fries, so consider sharing an order. Five Guys is not always our first choice when it comes to burger options, but it always seems to hit the spot. The burgers are definitely on the greasy side, but when it's time for a cheat meal, we enjoy coming here. The employees are usually friendly and attentive, and we've never had a bad experience. I ordered a bacon burger tonight and it was extremely dry. I have never experienced their burgers ever tasting this dry before. My girlfriend I love this location. Everytime we have come to this location the food has been amazing. She will get the BLT and I would get the Bacon Cheese Burger. The BLT ratio is spot on. Not too much bacon, lettuce or tomato. The bacon is cooked just right everytime. For the burger the patty itself has always been cooked perfectly for me. A nice juicy patty topped with melted american cheese and the topping are fresh. This location, whenever my girlfriend and I come it doesn't seem to get crazy busy. Who goes to Five Guys without toppings? Psychopaths! That's who! I ordered my cheeseburger with lettuce, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, grilled mushrooms, and ketchup and mustard--not even the ketchup and mustard were present in the burger. All I got was two sad patties in a bun with two slices of cheese.
