McDonald's will eventually convert life long customers to their competitors if they allow individuals who don't understand customer service or motto their brands expectations. I had such a horrible experience at this location but after reading all of the reviews about cleanliness, molded food, inaccurate orders & lack of customer service I am no longer surprised. I visited this location via the drive thru and ordered a simple two sandwiches, 1 nugget meal and 2 drinks. I get to the window and was given 1 drink and a bag with the incorrect order. I paid for an additional drink and was given the bag that was supposed to have my order inside. I get half way home only to notice that I was missing the additional sandwich. I turn around and go to the drive thru window. I explained the situation through the glass from a young lady that was rolling her eyes and telling me that she could not assist me. I told her no problem I can give you back the incorrect order and you can just issue a refund since you are telling me that you cannot correct my order. I placed my food in the window area and asked her to refund my cc transaction. She refused. The manager on duty also refused to correct their mistake or issue a refund. Since I have been a GM for over 10 years I am well aware of how simple it is to void a transaction via the pos system. They proceeded to tell me to return in the morning. I asked for the District or Regional Managers contact and was told that all they had was the manager's contact. They wrote it on a napkin and placed it against the window. I left with no food, without my money and no assistance! I had to drive to another McDonald's in the area and re order my food as well as obtain the corporate contact information. I was also advised to call the 24 hr manager line that was advertised in the window at check out. This is truly fraudulent as I attempted to call both numbers provided to only be re directed to a voice mail option. Do not waste your time or money visiting this location! I will be posting this on large social media platforms to hopefully spare someone their health or money. There was no negative star option. read more

As far as McDonalds Restaurant goes this one is top notch. They recently redid the entire outside and inside of the restaurant and it looks out standing. They are busy, I would guess they do 20-30 million per year in sales at this place. I come here once and a while because its right near the Radio Shack where I buy all of my electronics. I didn't come to this place until the girl at the RS store told me they recently remolded the McDonalds and its one of the better locations. Anyways I just got my Chicken Sandwich from there and it was great! read more

Food is ok, it is McDonald's, you get what they are famous serving. Big Macs are the same , Chicken Nuggets , Quarter Pounder everything is the same as last year and ten years ago. Don't go to this McDonald's if you want service. I went inside to order and because I refused to use the kiosk, they wouldn't serve me. They served everyone else that used the kiosk until I started complaining. The worst part is, it was the manager that refused to serve me. I just bought 2 breakfast combos with orange juice and I get home to find that the orange juice is spoiled. Not only does it taste bad it smells bad. However i am still giving them 3 stars because when I called an employee named Sandra was very aplogetic and took my name down so that I can come in another day to get 2 free orange juices. This is a very busy McDonald's since it's one of San Pedro's only brand named businesses. Therefore, the drive thru can take a good 20 minutes to navigate on a busy lunch day. It's not really clear where one should enter, so you can find yourself in a duel type situation if you aren't paying attention. Think I'm over this location. I just came back from the drive thru and surprise I had items missing. I normally double check but I gave them the benefit of the doubt today. This review is for the female worker in a black shirt with a dirty blond long braided ponytail worn under her workers cap. Her name tag started with the letter C (Carmen perhaps, I couldn't see the full name tag). I waited in line like the customers before me. After the man in front of me completed placing his order, I patiently waited to have my order taken. The worker didn't acknowledge my presence, just turned her back to fill a cup of coffee. That's fine I thought. Then she went to grab other food items. Then walked them to multiple tables. Then chit chatted with another worker, smiling. Then filled some to go orders from the drive through. Then proceeded to make a whole pot of coffee and so on. Um...hello!? What about the customers who are patiently waiting for your return to the cash register?! If you're not planning to come back could you let us know? Why wasn't there a greeting and explanation that you had other tasks to do? Why just leave customers standing there?! Never once did she look over to see if there was a line behind her register. So I know its McDonald's and I don't expect much but wow. The coffee had an after taste of plastic, the chicken nuggets and fries in the happy meal were cold and my chicken wrap was watery and old tasting. The man who stands in front of the menu was short and rude. Was bent on taking my order before I could even look at the menu...? The woman who took my payment was very nice but her English wasn't great. It was difficult to understand her fully. The young girl with the bad acne scars was unbelievable. She was so rude it was almost laughable. So when I had to go back through the line because she failed to get the order I placed correctly into the bag, imagine the annoyance level she had with me at this point. Lol! It's fine, it happens, but her rudeness about it and complete lack of customer consideration was utterly amazing. I had two small kids in the car and the money taker offered to give them little kids books to color in which I had never experienced. Also, they got us our food super quick! I agree with the other review. This location is good sometimes but other times not so much in terms of service. Mc Donalds is generally known for skimping on ice in the drinks and this location just reinforces that stereotype. In addition to this, the thing that really bothers me is that you can't get your own drinks here which doesn't help the ice situation. The food is pretty consistent here and I haven't personally experienced any problems with quality here. The drive thru menu where they take your orders isn't working so they have an employee standing near the drive thru taking orders on a little handheld computer. This may actually be beneficial due to the fact that you have someone right next to you inputting the order much like you would do if you were to order at the counter inside. This should make orders more accurate and improve upon the many drive thru order errors that most people experience. This McDonalds is a-ok in my book. read more

Second time here and they've messed up both times . The drive thru took 15 minutes with only seven cars . They gave me someone else's food on accident , I unwrapped the paper and handed it back so that they could hand it back to the car behind me .
