We were visiting Crafted at the Port of LA and tucked just inside one of the entrances is Pepper's Cafe. This is a delightful stop for coffee while shopping. There is a cozy seating area adjacent to Pepper's as well if your feet need a rest. We ordered a Honey Lavender Latte and a Vanilla Latte. Both of these choices were full of magical flavored coffee goodness. The honey lavender had wonderful lavender accents to the rich coffee. The vanilla latte was also full of vanilla flavor. We really enjoyed our first visit to Pepper's and hope to stop many times in the future when we are shopping at Crafted. Yay! read more

Heard about this place and I was in the area so I made the effort to check this place out. Here was my experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plenty of parking. The spot was an old space for old storage warehouses. Now that it's a brewery and arts and crafts place so you really shouldn't have issues with parking. Seating: There's a nice little lounge for about 4 people and there are benches right in front for the general Crafted audience. Feels: The location is like no other, it's close to a renovated dock, warehouse, and park. It took me a while to find the place so keep your eyes peeled. It's inside Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles and when entering from the main doors, it's one of the first vendors you'll see. FOOD: Gingerbread Latte (Recommend) Delicious! Mildly sweet and warm to the heart. I like the creaminess and the portion of milk, gingerbread, and espresso. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging! There's always something special about a small business coffee shop feel and Toni exudes that. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Fantastic! Reasonable prices, delicious drinks, and memorable service! LA may have many competitive coffee shops but this one is a lovely humble one in which I wish the absolute best for Toni and the team! It's a great place, unique, quaint however the coffee itself is terrible. Your paying high dollars for a cup of coffee it should be wonderful without all the other ingredients. Even if you add all the other fluff the coffee itself needs to be the base - sorry but not good at all! Great cafe with a great no waste mission! The coffee and environment of the place is very nice and relaxing. You can also chose your own mug which I thought was a nice touch. They have some really funny ones. I chose an Elvis one for my lavender latte which was very good! We were visiting "Crafted", At the Port of Los Angeles, and were so happy to be able to grab a couple vanilla lattes and almond croissants right as we walked in the door!Patricia, the owner, is so much fun! She lets you pick out your own coffee mug, that's right, a REAL coffee cup and carry it around while you check out the different shops, and then return it to her when you leave.
