The good: This was the fastest drive-thru experience I've ever had. The workers were friendly and efficient. They have the 2 window set-up where you pay at the 1st window and get your food at the 2nd window. I got a hash brown (my favorite McDonald's menu item), a sausage, egg and cheese McMuffin and an orange juice. Usually, when you order a hash brown it takes longer to prepare your food but they had my food ready very quickly. Also, for some reason the hash brown here tasted better than normal (and it normally tastes great!). Maybe the oil was fresher. I found the hash brown here twice as satisfying as normal because the oil didn't taste as heavy. The bad: The muffin part of the sausage McMuffin was a little hard and chewy. The interesting: McDonald's started out as a hot dog place rather than a burger place. read more

I think it's absolutely ridiculous having to charge 30 cents for sauces. They should at least offer one for each meal for fries but they told me since I don't have any nuggets in my order I can't get any unless I pay for it. I did pay the first time around because I had nuggets but this second time they could have at least gave 1 since I had ordered 4 meals. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Apparently you can't order a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin after 2pm? I literally never go to McDonalds and the one time I crave it so bad that I go... I find out lol. If it ended there I would juat move on, but I was asked to order a happy meal. The girl taking my order was now pissed off and responding rude and short with me after the McMuffin ordeal lol. I asked for the happy meal and specified what was sent to me via text. She had cut the microphone off and didn't hear me. This went on a handful of times; me repeating what I wanted, her rudely asking "what?!" With an attitude in her voice, then cutting the mic. Had this order not been for someone else, I would have just drove off. I didn't need that kind of evil in my life today. Terrible service. I ordered a burger and they gave it to me with hair on it when I asked them to remake another one the lady (ITZIA) stared acting really childish. And hung up on the phone. I showed up to McDonald's to request another burger and the lady once again (ITZIA) proceeded to act childish and couldn't even hang me my burger. She requested another employee (Jesse) to hang me my burger. I don't recommend for her to be working there she put a hair on my food and gave me terrible service. read more

My wife went through the drive-thru to place an order as she got to the pay window they tell her card's not accepted and there was no sign up saying cash only so I went to McDonald's to go talk to the manager and when I asked the manager what time they put the sign up she got offended and told me she was going to call the police and then walked away from me when I called for her to come back unemployee tried to get in my face and after she went away another employee tried calling me provoking me to try and fight him so I just left I think this is very unprofessional and this isn't the first incident that happened at this McDonald's and the food is bottom of the barrel quality. read more

Horrible experience every time. No customer service skills. Order taking quality is always messed up. Yes the building got remodeled but they should have spent that money on training their staff. Have tried to give numerous chances because I understand everyone has bad days, but every trip the experience gets worse and worse. Went because we had coupons arrive in the mail. The order taker looked at the coupon and yells out "Can he use these?" Another order taker comes over and says yes. So I made the order which was a 2 for 1 offer. This seemed to throw her-she kept repeating "So you want 2?" I'm thinking $15 an hr. Anyway get the order and go home. The fish filet had two tiny spots of tartar sauce. Clearly the gun was out but the "cook" still just touched it to the bun. So dry I gave most to the dogs. NEVER again!!! read more

I just have to say that McDonald's doesn't seem to be my most favorite lately, at least not in Ventura anyway. A few nights ago we came out of our way to Santa Paula because Ventura has been doing a terrible job with their food orders. Low and behold it was the same in Santa Paula. And we spent a good $50 only to get home in Ventura with cold over fried food. I spoke to the manager and she was willing to remake it. We were able to make it back over a few nights later. I just want to say a shout out the the managers and staff for coming thru with a fresh meal and delivering it with a smile! Wait until you're out of Ventura County to stop at McDonald's. They recently raised the prices of soft drinks - unlike most other community McDonald's. Hard to believe that they care. You'll see this same review for most V County McDonald's since they seem to be owned by the same folks. Fillmore did not raise their drink prices. read more

Worst McDonald's I've been to by far. I could complain about the fries for days . Order a plain hamburger they give you a brick like your working on a house. Then the employees not all of them but most of them just don't care .I ordered two cheeseburgers with no onions... they took the cheese out and left a pickle onions mustard and ketchup. It's been like this since I moved to Santa Paula six years ago. I decided I'll just drive to Ventura and sit down if I ever want a quick cheeseburger for now on.
