I just have to say that McDonald's doesn't seem to be my most favorite lately, at least not in Ventura anyway. A few nights ago we came out of our way to Santa Paula because Ventura has been doing a terrible job with their food orders. Low and behold it was the same in Santa Paula. And we spent a good $50 only to get home in Ventura with cold over fried food. I spoke to the manager and she was willing to remake it. We were able to make it back over a few nights later. I just want to say a shout out the the managers and staff for coming thru with a fresh meal and delivering it with a smile! Wait until you're out of Ventura County to stop at McDonald's. They recently raised the prices of soft drinks - unlike most other community McDonald's. Hard to believe that they care. Worst McDonald's I've been to by far. I could complain about the fries for days . Order a plain hamburger they give you a brick like your working on a house. Then the employees not all of them but most of them just don't care .I ordered two cheeseburgers with no onions... they took the cheese out and left a pickle onions mustard and ketchup. It's been like this since I moved to Santa Paula six years ago. I decided I'll just drive to Ventura and sit down if I ever want a quick cheeseburger for now on. We pull up to the window where you pay and the male worker in the black Shirt tonight was either high or had no idea what he was saying when repeating my order . The lady in the blue shirt next to him kept laughing and hitting him playfully I gave him my card and when he turned to give it back to me he said "what the fuck" to the girl working and said sorry about that to me. I just got done writing them a letter on their feedback page, so instead of retyping what happened, I'm just going to paste it here: I ordered 1 small vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate and 1 cheeseburger. The problem was with the ice cream cone and the way that it was prepared. The girl at the drive through window handed me the ice cream cone and immediately I realized she had done it wrong, but when I looked up to tell her she had already moved away from the window and the window had closed. I waited, but she didn't return. When she handed me the ice cream cone, it was misshapen and lopsided and the chocolate hard coating was not completely covering the vanilla ice cream and it didn't go all the way down to the cone. There was almost an inch gap between where the hard chocolate coating ended and the cone began, so there was vanilla ice cream melting at quite an alarming rate all down my hand and onto my new clothing. I thought if I ate it fast it would be okay, however, the chocolate coating had been dipped several times therefore it was so thick, that I could not even bite through it, on an attempt to, the entire thing in one big chunk came off and was one hard solid unbreakable mass of chocolate. I was trying to figure out what to do with it, because I couldn't hold it and have it melting on me and drive, so I had to stop my car and jump out and throw it in the trash can outside of the grocery store. It was so bad, I had chocolate all smeared all over my nose and brand new silk shirt and vanilla ice cream completely melting all over my hand. I always order these dipped cones from Fosters down the street, but tonight I thought I'd try McDonald's to see if the ice cream was good. I honestly couldn't imagine why the person who dipped my cone had to dip it for so many times that the chocolate was 1/3 of an inch thick, it was outrageously thick! These cones should be dipped in a THIN coating of chocolate, one time, completely to the cone so that the ice cream is sealed into a nice thin chocolate shell which can easily be broken and bitten in to. This thing she handed me was a nightmare and it was melting and dripping because she didn't seal the chocolate coating to the cone like she was supposed to. Ruined my new shirt ( I was dressed up ) and upset me. I'll never go to McDonald's again for ice cream, that was the worst experience I have ever had with such an easy item! I am going to Yelp! this. Because I want to warn others not to trust the staff at making these correctly, this was cruel, she had to have known before she handed it to me that it was completely a wreck, and yet she still shoved it into my hand and then slammed the window closed and didn't come back. By the way, the cheeseburger was completely cold and tasted like it had sat there a long time. I usually love McDonald's cheeseburgers but I am pretty sure this night time crew made these a lot earlier and didn't make any fresh ones, this one was very dry and not even warm. I took one bite and threw it away too. I feel like I just wasted my money. I tried to call someone at the number on the receipt 5 minutes after I left and there was no answer. The last few times I went, using the 'free meal' cards the people taking my order never asked me if I want to super size or not, so I am not sure if they stopped doing it or the people just don't have training or just disregard their training. But, whatever, they just took my order, never asked me to supersize and didn't offer any other items, which is fine.. Got to window and they seemed apathetic... no smile or anything. I often stop to get food here. Typically I go through the drive through but today decided to go inside. My 4 yr old was walking to the table and dropped her cup. A young gentleman told her it was all okay and cleaned up the mess. She walked up and said sorry for making a mess and thank you for cleaning it up. He was really sweet to her about it. Ughh... My stepdad went to get food for my brother and I and they completely messed our order up. We had order a happy meal with a plain burger but in the burger there was pickles and we had order a double side of fries but give us yogurt. My brother dislikes pickles so he didn't get to eat the burger. For my meal we had order a Big Mac but instead I got a Quarter Pounder. Since last month. Since gone bad to way terrible and stressful. Some managers never do anything to solve the problem and making excuses and lies to give me and my mom a receipt like yesterday. Employees are starting to ignore more on it's costumers if they needed help and more could complain if nothing it's solved with this issue. And they're also keep slamming and banging our food which is no costumer respect at all. Make some better policies for costumer safety. This has got to be the worst McDonalds in Ventura County and probably the worst fast food place in Santa Paula. Don't want to bash this place but the customer service is horrible. The employees can never get the orders right and food is always missing when I get home. I suggest checking your order before leaving. Some of the employees are your typical Santa Paula ghetto trash. During my last, i dealt with an employee (Angel) who didn't say a word to me and only gave me attitude as I went through the drive-thru. Then to make matters worse, I had to add a cheeseburger at the window where you pay because I forgot and she was so upset. I was very polite but it didn't work, she was still upset. This place its getting out of control with its dine in customers. The employees and some managers aren't nice or controlling their behavior while working. Its scaring everyone to come less and use gas to go out of town. Even they're not nice to me, my mom or my family or cousin.
