SERVICE here is horrible. The manager ( Edgar looking guy ) treats EVERYONE like they are a homeless on 4th avenue. The app had some kind of glitch on their end with multiple customers trying to get their food but they refuse to believe a human over their application lol. Horrible service. I ordered a QPC meal with a strawberry shake on the app. When I arrived the VERY rude guy at the window told me that no shakes were available and asked if I wanted a drink. And while that might have made sense to him, it sure didn't to me when considering. that I paid an additional $2.50 to get the shake. I agreed to let him replace it with a frappe and he said "okay, small frappe," and literally slammed the window in my face before I could tell him what kind of frappe I wanted and maybe even point out that the up charge on a frappe is considerably less than the up charge on a shake. Waited in line behind one car for 5 minutes. Then when I placed my order I was told I'd wait another 10 minutes. There needs to be a better sense of urgency communicating to the customer in the drive thru. Twice this month I've waited in line for 5 plus minutes to be told " the system is down. The people who work here are great. They are super friendly and very attentive. We were given excellent service that went above and beyond the norm. When they thought there was something wrong with our order they inquired on their own and fixed it even though we said they didn't have to. We have used the self order screens which were easy to use. Our food came fast. The bathrooms are locked. It was very clean and comfortable seating. The only thing I didn't like was that they don't let you refill your soda. Not sure why. When I pulled up to the drive through window, the lady there said please wait. which I thought was weird because they normally have it ready asap. Their menu board was off when we went through the drive through, there was a flickering street light in the corner of the parking lot that could most definitely be a road safety hazard, the person taking our order was unnecessarily abrasive, and the food was sub-par even by McDonald's standards. I'd much rather drive to a different location if the McDonald's itch strikes again, which I almost did the first time since it looked like they were shut down. Also, 80% is great for an NFL QB's pass completion rate, but not for order accuracy, especially when you're bagging a single order with no rush under no apparent time crunch. BEWARE! I purchased my annual Shamrock Shake at this location via the drive through. The shake itself was fine but when I checked my receipt at home, I noticed a shake surcharge. I called the store twice to find out what the surcharge was about and both times the person hung up on me AFTER I asked my question. The food we ordered was correct and tasted like... well, McDonald's. So there is an extra star for getting our order right. Otherwise, it was a 1-star experience. This location is under construction, which is not the reason I'm writing this review, but I guess it's important to note. And at 9:30 at night, the dine-in area was closed, and there was a long line at the drive-thru. When we pulled up there were two ordering stations. They were only using one. And the one they were using had a broken screen. So you couldn't see if what you were ordering was correct. The other one they weren't using was working. So... tell me... why are you 1) only using one of your TWO ordering stations when you've got a line and 2) using only the broken and not the functional one? Seems like common sense, yes? When we pulled up the first window, it was also closed. *Head smack* It's like every way they could have been helping themselves be more efficient/move faster they chose not to utilize. Then the wait for our food was obnoxious. At least 10 minutes. Side note, and not included in this review/score: Since when did two meals from McDonald's cost almost $30? Is this just regional price thing? Because McDonald's was cheap AF in Ohio. Anyways, fast food is what it is. I know that. But being efficient in the fast food business is really important.
