The worst management I have seen over there. The guy gave you the wrong food and said what we had ordered. Discrimination.

Good location near T-Mobile Park baseball stadium and Century Link. I noticed this location was remodeled a few months ago. Has a self-food order checkout machine which only accepts credit cards and debit cards! Only had one cashier but the restaurant was not too busy on the Sunday afternoon! read more

We don't go to McDonald's with high expectations but this particular location didn't even meet our lowered standards. We received items we did not pay for. Kids happy meals were not what we ordered. They do not offer free refills and do inform you of this until after you have paid. They do not offer condiments. It is very hard to screw up at McDonalds but this location manages to do so. read more

McDonald feedback page only allows 1200 characters. I wrote a complaint to them but could not write all the detail. I was not so sure if McDonald would listen or care anything to my complaint or not. I just wanted to leave a faithful comment here to be warned about the mistreat and attitude you might receive from McDonald staff there even if you as a customer did nothing wrong. The incident occurred on Sunday, 11/17/2018 at 5:20PM at McDonald address: 2401 4th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134. An employee contact name was "Betty", who claimed to be a store manager, showed a sign of attitude, poorly treated to a customer who did nothing wrong, and refused to provide service. I was a regular customer at this particular branch. My daughter wanted to eat an ice cream and I was just about to pass this McDonald on my way home. During that time, the store was under an interior construction but still opened only for Drive-Thru. I stopped my car at the first Drive-Thru terminal service and got a promptly message to move forward to the second Drive-Thru service area (This was normal during non peak hour). I stopped my car at this second service area and waited for the staff to take my order. However, there was no respond on the intercom. Besides, the monitor showed only a blank white screen. It was a sign of monitor not working. I said "hello" and waited at the intercom for 15 seconds but no response from the operator at the end of the line. Apparently, I saw the first windows, where customers pay for the food with the cashier, was completely blocked with red cones and only the second windows opened. Due to the fact that store was under interior construction, I thought the intercom was down and was supposed to order at the second windows. There were two cars ahead of me and I waited patiently in line for my turn. By the time I got to the windows, the staff told me about the other customer's order. I told her I did not order anything yet because there was no response from the intercom and the monitor showed only a blank white screen. Another staff came to the windows and told me to move the car to get back in line from the beginning again. I asked her why and calmly explained to her again about what happened at the terminal service back there. I clearly said that there was no response from the intercom while I waited for 15 seconds and the monitor abnormally showed only blank screen. She not listened but clearly showed a sign of attitude by the way she looked and talked to me. She kept telling me to go back in line to order with the terminal service again. That was ridiculous and not made any sense to redo the thing. I told her I did nothing wrong but why I had to go back to the line when the problem was the store service area itself not working at the first place, not a customer fault. I told her that what I need was an ice cream cone for my daughter and we did nothing wrong. She refused the service unless I followed her unreasonable direction to start a line all over. At this point, I and my wife told the staff that we need to talk to a store manager to report this mistreat incident. The very same staff told us she was a store manager. I asked for the name and she said "Betty". I told her that I need to file a report to the McDonald customer service about what I was being treated with this attitude. She just walked away. This was bad, very bad. I not think I will go back to this store never ever again and I not want to let this incident go like nothing happen. I do really hope McDonald do some internal investigation about this incident as shown on date and time above. My daughter could not get an ice cream and I feel like this was totally not okay for the business to treat a customer like this. There is something real wack about this McDonald's. There's a sign at the drive-through explaining that because minimum wage is so high, pricing varies with this location. This means you get bizarro prices like $2.49 for a 4-piece McNuggets, no dollar menu, and the prices seem really jacked up. I pretty much avoid this one and go to Taco Bell instead. This McDonald's location in the SoDo is nice in the fact it has free wifi and with an outside digital billboard for the latest specials but inconsistent food. Please tell all your customers, you're out of items before them buying it then finding out, throw away old food sitting in the heat lamp and tell the manager to take a chill pill before he gets a heart attack. The SoDo Chronicles part 3: Someone busted my car window and stole Alex's backpack while I was parked next to the giant REI on Friday night, just following The SoDo Chronicles part 2. So naturally I called up Jamie Moyer to have him fix it. I dropped the whip off at All-Star Autoglass down there on 4th Ave South, and realized I had a golden opportunity to find some WiFi and get some work done. Make that a GOLDEN ARCHES opportunity!!! I walked a few sprawling blocks and crossed a couple of enormous streets into that same-iest of all places. (Well, unless you're in France with it's beer and dogs and cigarette McD's. Or Canada with pizza. Or Boston with lobster rolls) I had the #6, some kind of football shaped chicken/bacon/swiss cheese sesame seed bun thing, fries, and bucked tradition by choosing Powerade instead of Coke. $2.95 to get online in 2008??? What a Kroc!!! The fries were good. The tables were dirty. There were lots of cops, and an elderly asian gentleman taking a nap. read more

As suspected, my card number was used fraudulently a few weeks after this incident. One use at THIS McDonalds for about $14 to test its validity followed by 2 failed $430 transactions at the south center T-mobile and 1 accepted transaction at the Rainier Ave. South T-mobile. Order taker could not hardly speak English. I asked if I could have a bucket of ice also, and I would even pay for it if necessary. Order taker could not figure out what I was talking about. We finally figured out that I needed to talk to the manager. Manager's English was not much better. Finally we got to the topic of getting/buying ice. When you look at the photo it explains it all. $8.58 for a big mac that looked like it was thrown against the wall. Nothing between the top bun and middle bun. Nothing but dry bun. Burgers on bottom were haphazardly on bun with cheese on side of box and some on bun. Wasn't even busy, no one inside, and only one other car in drive thru. No excuse for crap service like this. Ordered through Uber eats and my order was accepted, waited about 15-20 min and order arrival time kept changing later and later. Next thing I knew I received a phone call from the Uber eats driver or representative saying the restaurant called him and said I canceled my order. Seriously? The manager of this particular location should be ashamed. I'm fully aware of Uber eats stipulations regarding rare order cancellations due to high volume, no driver, etc. but this was clearly just POOR LAZY customer service. I love the crew who works the afternoon shift here, but every week this particular store raises the prices of its drinks. It went from $1.85 to $1.95 last week and today it was $2.07. I know it's just spare change, but in this day and age every nickel and every dime counts! read more

Definitely my least favorite McDonald's. Even though its probably not as bad as the one at Westlake! Lots of drug addicts and homeless frequent this area so you'll see them in and around McDonalds. As you enter this recently-remodeled establishment you will first notice the electronic kiosks for ordering (Don't forget these are covered in feces so sanitize before and afterwards). The second thing you'll notice is the signs everywhere limiting your meal to 30 minutes. Also, no soda fountain for public use and no refills (WTF McDonalds, how much money were you losing here, really?). The restrooms are locked and you need to ask to get inside. The lightning is blue in the restrooms to deter people from using needles (blue light hides veins). The food is OK but about 1/4 of the time my meal is wrong. The wait after ordering form the kiosk is awkward and longer than expected. I'm still mad about the free refills. read more

This McDonald's is friendly and clean, ESP for SODO. I actually come here to buy coffee and use THEIR restrooms sometimes bc the ones at MY WORK 3 blocks away are disgusting. The one crazy thing tho, is their prices. Never in my life have I paid 7.02 for a coffee and French fries until I came here. I soon learned that THIS McDonald's is pricey. Lots of homeless people but once you get inside you won't be bothered. Kinda fun actually, running into the McDonald's to avoid pan handlers lol. read more

Lady taking orders at the drive up window was not able to understand english. I had to repeat everything at least twice and in the end the order was wrong. I kept saying a large coffee, I thought she finally got it. I was going to go in and complain but had the feeling that would be just as frustrating as trying to order the food. It's bad enough they already charge more because it's downtown Seattle and they have to pay their employees more so everything is more expensive down here but on top of that the overall McDonald's app has this nasty tendency to not work anywhere within three blocks of any McDonald's so even if you put it in the mobile order or even started trying to put the mobile order in before you arrived you end up sitting there at the place trying to finish the order with a dead zone occurring that creates a cell phone jamming effect. And as I'm sure I'm not the only person who's ever complained of that particular a little scenario you think the employees would be aware and understanding of that little issue with their system so if you pull into a mobile order curbside spot and you're sitting there playing with your cell phone one could assume that the person is trying to finish their order but instead they sent an employee out four separate times to ask me to move because the space is reserved for mobile orders and I show him my phone saying I'm trying to finish the order well by the 3rd or 4th time he came out I was about to offer to him, if he never had it done before to be the first time recipient of me pistol-whipping him, cuz that was getting to be downright abusive. read more

This is by far the absolute worst McDonalds I've ever been to. First off if you come here at night don't expect that the full menu will be available. I tried to order a chicken sandwich and the lady at the drive thru said they don't have any available because it was too late at night and they were slow. Hello, you are open 24 hours!! She also wouldn't make any mozzarella sticks since they weren't popular enough. I ended up ordering a quarter pounder meal only to find out they gave both me and my friend the smallest size fries when the meal is supposed to come with the larger size. To top it off the fries were absolutely disgusting, cold and stale. I wouldn't doubt they were too lazy to make a new batch and just swept these off the floor and served them to us. Employee at the window was rude and didn't apologize when I went back because she forgot my cheeseburger. It's hard to imagine how all these things could go wrong on one visit. This is the VERY WORST place for customer service, getting orders right, and fixing the mistakes they made, and just simple plain rudeness and overall attitude was so horrible that i will go here again. They got my order wrong and i called same day to complain and mind you it was snowing out and so i had got home and suprise wrong order completely. Gives me the number to the store where she answers and then calls police because im sitting in drive through window trying to speak with her boss. She wants me to give her the boss name and I dont recall him giving me his name just said to come in explain and reorder and tell them your name and wouldn't be a problem. So i guess he didnt write it dowm because they said it was not written down. Or give them a receipt for a order that i did not order which I dont know how it would make ant difference because if i paid for my order and got a whole different one with that receipt how does that show anything? I was searchimg for the receipt and the maanagr called police to escort us off the property. I hope she really came to the states legally. Acting likr she owns McDonalds and cant even communicate with her boss or allow me to speak to him again. This place is absolutly horrific. If you want to be belittled and insulted and not get your order right go here. This is the most ridiculous experience I have ever had at any restaurant to be honest. It was newly remodeled but I wish they would have just redone the staff instead. They were rude to us in english and I understood what they said in Spanish which was worse. My family just got done with an event and stopped for a quick bite. They encourage use to use the machines and then walked away. When we finally got our food they forgot our dink, no big deal but I stood there waiting while every employee looked at me and turned away. I was getting so pissed off. You have computers to make things faster but your employees are becoming unwilling to help people since we can now just order ourselves. Then they forgot to hand me a straw. If you design your restaurants so customers can't help themselves to anything then hire staff willing to hand me something or give me the option to order a damn straw and some napkins I already paid for myself or how about just at least acknowledge I'm there or I'll just walk back and grab it myself. Anti-bike owner. Nowhere is it posted that bikes are not allowed in the lobby. I came in at about 8:40 on a Saturday. There were only 10 or so other clients in the restaurant. I was told to lock my bike outside on an exit railing. That would pose a hazard. The manager was dismissive and unfriendly. read more
