I was excited at the thought of having a convenient breakfast sandwich option near me downtown, so I decided to stop by on a Saturday morning to give their breakfast sandwich a try. I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, a hashbrown, and an orange juice. Ordering was pretty intuitive via their self-order kiosks, and within 10 minutes of ordering, my order number was called at the window for me to pick up my food. Upon first bite of my breakfast sandwich, I immediately recognized the flavor profile - it was the exact same flavor profile as a McDonald's sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin. There was nothing different. The seasoning of the sausage, the overcooked egg, the melted cheddar cheese - it was all the same. Then came the hashbrown, it also tasted the exact same as McDonald's hashbrown. It even was the same shape! Amazingly, my hashbrown here actually was soggier than those that you'd get from McDonalds, which was a huge surprise for me. The total price was astonishing. I paid almost $25 for my entire meal. The orange juice itself, a 10 oz. cup, was $6, which is absurd. Maybe because this was in downtown Seattle, but realistically, I'd put $15 as a fair price for what I got. Being in downtown Seattle, there's lots of street parking options, parking lots, and not to mention Amazon's garages, some of which are free starting Friday afternoon through the weekend. The interior is pretty casual, with some larger tables that can accomadate bigger groups. There's also a few tables available for outdoor seating. The kid at the counter was very patient and helped us choose what to order. We ordered two great burgers and fries. I wanted my burger without cheese, but I received a cheeseburger anyway. Rather than complain, I just ate it. The food was okay. I liked the burger, but it was hard to tell whether or not it was actually good because all I tasted was the cheese. My sister prefers cheeseburgers, and she thought the burger was pretty decent. We both thought the fries were just ok. They definitely could have been better. They use Naked Brand organic buns, which are soy-free, and I would assume all of their other ingredients are of equal quality - it certainly always tastes great. That said, I just paid $25 for a cheeseburger, onion rings, and a diet cola that I ordered at a kiosk, picked up from the counter, ate at a bar-top, and then cleaned up after myself. It was overpriced a few months ago when that meal was $18, but at $25, the price now rivals a sit down restaurant with proper service. (And of course, the kiosk solicits a tip, too.) I suppose if their target market is rushed Amazon employees afraid to take more than a few minutes for lunch, then they can charge whatever they want. For me, I'm not in a hurry. This is a fine option if you're walking round that area. It's a very standard burger based lunch or dinner. You can get their classic burger, a plain burger, customize with a lettuce bun or sun out the meat, ask for extra pickles etc. They also have a Jones soda fountain! What a throw back! We got two great state burgers, fries and pickles to share and my partner got a chocolate shake. All the items are on the small side (which I kind of prefer since burgers are pretty dense)- similar in size to like Dicks hamburgers, and for the area, quality, and ability to customize, the price isn't that bad (it's not Dicks good of course but who can be?) I hate to say it but I didn't find the flavor/texture etc to be memorable or that enjoyable - it was similar or less delicious than like a McDouble. (Maybe you have to get the bun as well to actually have good flavor, but in terms of burgers...most the flavor is in the meat, condiments and extras inside...) The highlight for me were the crinkle fries that came in a adorable small bag. That was very good and cute. I'll say it: their burgers are better than Shake Shack's. Their burgers taste fresh and staff has always been consistently friendly. I also love that I can order ahead of time on their website, as this has saved my lunch breaks several times. Why can I only give 3 stars? Because the size of their bugers isn't consistent, and sometimes the burgers are moderately warm. I noticed this last bit may be because of the lunch rush: seems they prep items so the workers can 'grab and pack' as orders come in (ex: several french fries already in their containers ready to be thrown into a bag or on a tray). A streamlined concept for the workers to cut down on prep, but the customer usually suffers as this impacts freshness. It seems the burgers are cooked medium as a standard (which is fine by me), but if you have a particular level you'll need to ask the cashier if this can be accomodated. Every time I've gone, they've never asked if I had a preference. Tips: -Ordering during the lunch rush (12-1pm)? Order ahead! That's right, you can place an order on their website and schedule a pick up time. You'll get a text message when your order is ready -Taking an order to go and want ketchup? Ask the cashier for some, as the containers at the ketchup pump (near the soda machines) are the paper cups/don't have lids -Street parking is hard to find. My first time visiting Seattle....this was my first stop to eat in the city. To be honest, not a great kick off to the city. THe outside of the restaurant looked cool, they had a great vibe going on, but at the end of the it was a whole lot of meh. Not awful, but over priced for what you got - which was an underwhelming burger meal. I ordered a Hamburger, fries and a milkshake. It was simple to order in the nifty ordering machine whichever went it back to the kid tech to be made. When I got my meal it was a bit sad looking.....the burger was wrapped in paper (like old-school McDonald's TBH) the fries were crinkle cut that looked like they came straight out of a freezer section, and the shake was super-Doppler small. The burger was fine to eat - but underwhelming in flavor itself too. The shake was gone in a few short sips......and the fries I had 2 and didn't;t bother with the rest. At $4 this is the most expensive side of fries in fast food, it's also the smallest portion. The burgers pretty much taste like Dick's, the restaurant not the organ. However, they cost twice as much. I was excited to try this burger stand. I really was. When I walked in, I was greeted with an iPad on a stick, and was charged over $105 for three burgers, a side of fries, a side of onion rings, and three small drinks. I was then told that they do not except bills over $20.. I paid with my card, and then was given a number. My friends and I were the only ones in the store. We waited about 15 minutes for them to call our order, only to be met with two trays, and three of the tiniest burgers we had ever seen. They're smaller than Dick's Burgers I swear to god. We were then met with a soda machine that only offered Jones soda. Many of you may like the idea of this, but when you have about 5 flavors to choose from, half of which are Mountain Dew Flavors, you get a little disappointed. There was no Air conditioning either, and I visited in the middle of June. Their booth seats are tighter than all hell. Keep in mind that I am an underweight 20 year old male standing at about 5'8" tall. No one my height and weight should have to straddle themselves into a booth seat like it's a cockpit. The bun looked amazing, but was cold...... The fries were really good, the ones that were not overly fried. Now I could see if this place was busy and I could give some leeway but there was hardly anyone here! All this I would have been ok for solid lunch location but, it was over $20 bucks! The servers here are friendly and the service is quick! The burgers are quite tasty too. As is the "great state" sauce. They offer lettuce wrapped burgers instead of bun for the carb conscious! However the problem lines in their Pricing. The single burger is tiny and costs $7.16 with tax. If you want extra toppings like bacon, that comes at an extra charge. This is wayyyy overpriced for the size. I get that their beef is grass fed but there's no way that tiny burger could justify the pricepoint. My wife and I decided to try this place out on 02/28/2025 @ 1030. It was the pier 54 store. We should have suspected something when we noticed 2 couples leaving with disgusting looking faces. We got 2 burgers, 1 order of fries, 1 soda, and 1 coffee for $44.73. Before I ordered, I asked the size of the burgers, the manager a female with dirty blonde hair said 1/4 lb...BS! When we got our food, the burgers were warm not hot. The fries seemed like they refried them to make them hot, sorry that didn't work either. Not only that, what little burnt refried fries we received were the ones you scrap from the bottom of the pan to throw away. The icing on the cake was when the manager/cashier came over to ask us how was everything. When we told her, she said the fries were fresh. I showed her our fries, her faced turned red.
