My order in consistently wrong! I admit, I eat here to often, but it's cheap and quick for my lunch breaks. But I have ordered a quarter pounder with cheese a few times and there is no cheese! Most of the workers are really nice but there is a woman who has given me attitude a few times and once asked if I just wanted to be given cheese slices on the side and when I said no I wanted a hot burger with the cheese melted she spoke under her breath that the cheese still wouldn't be melted. But today was the last straw, I ordered curbside to go with a quarter pounder with cheese. I pulled up next to another car and waited. They were brought their food and then I continued to wait for over 8 min and I finally went inside and I saw my order just sitting there. On top of that, they once again gave me no cheese for a burger that came with cheese and stated so on all receipts! Really disappointed in this location, but I guess it's bad service is going to help me eat healthier and save money because I will no longer go to this location, I'd rather skip eating on my lunch hour then to deal with incorrect orders 75% of the time. read more

Went through the drive-thru last night, ordered a quarter pounder meal with ketchup only, among a few other things, and was missing a large fry and given a burger with everything on it. I went in to ask for a replacement and it took almost 20 minutes for them to help the one person in front of me, and then, after I told them it was supposed to be ketchup only, they took the burger back and brought me a "new" one, after getting home and biting into it it turns out they took my burger and just wiped off the extra condiments, leaving the burger cold and tasting like everything was still on it. I feel spoiled by this location. Food is always fresh, employees always friendly, and the inside is reasonably clean.

We placed our order at 6:23pm. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food. We eventually got a refund with the time stamp of 6:54 pm on the receipt. When we spoke to the manager about getting a refund and how dissatisfied we were with the service and friendliness of the staff, we were told that they do not have enough people for Tuesday nights and that's just the way it is. I will never return to this McDonald's again because of the service and rudeness from the staff and manager. We noticed that they were fulfilling all the drive through orders and not the customer orders in the restaurant. I don't give bad reviews but this was just beyond! I went through the drive through. Pretty easy made my order person took order. Not rude but definitely no customer service. Thank you etc... I pulled up to the window and paid then pulled up to get food. Breakfast sandwich and hash brown. The lady was speaking to her co-worker when I pulled up. It took her a good minute to acknowledge that I was there. She did not say hello or anything else. "Your hash brown is not ready go to number 1". WHAT??? I nicely asked I'm sorry can you repeat? Well, I should know better, but went here again last night , due to pouring down raining hard. I was trying to avoid driving too far. Mistake.... ordered chicken grilled artisan sandwich, no dressing dried up chicken breast, cold. My daughters food was equally bad plus cold nuggets, fries...like sitting out for a while cold. Horrible McDonalds business franchise. They really should be ashamed, but the sad part is they will continue to get business because there are not many quick food options in Sherwood. My experience: It really bothered me how there was an advertised price on the drive-thru menu and then they proceed to charge me a different price even after I questioned. I was told "yeah, the price changed" but they refused to honor the advertised price. Such poor business management and operation. Then when I arrived home, my daughter tried her fries, which were cold and tasted like they were made the day before. They resolution was not much better offering to "make it right" if I came back to the restaurant. Sorry but my time is much more valuable and I should not have ever been inconvenienced and should not have to return so they can attempt to make something right that should never have been this way to begin with. Clearly based upon all of the negative reviews, no one is paying attention to the customer's concerns. Sad, just sad. The only reason one star was given was because Yelp forces you to select one prior to posting a review. I don't feel it deserves any! Ordered a coffee in drive through ( so did car ahead of me) i was told it would be done brewing in a minute and to pull into the waiting spot like the car ahead. Almost every time I go to McDonald's I order a egg mcmuffin without any meat on it (since I'm a vegetarian) and pretty much every time I get the food they always somehow mess it up by putting meat on it. But today was absolutely the worst. My friend and I order 2 plain burgers an egg mcmuffin (no meat) and a medium smoothie. Right away they messed up are order on the screen. Then they gave me a small smoothie that wasn't even filled all the way. And then the egg mcmuffin had meat on it of course. But we didn't even get our food right away cus we had to wait for them to make it and by the time they gave it to us we had to go back into the store and wait for several min for someone to even come to the cashier cus they where just chatting in the back. What happened to McDonald's french fries , they used to be so good! I usually avoid going to McDonald's but every once in awhile I crave a Sausage and Egg McMuffin. Went to get a fry as a night snack and at 10:30 they are only serving drinks despite being open for another 30 minutes because their cooks "didn't feel like staying past 10". We live here in Sherwood, our family eats at your McDonald often because the convenience, otherwise, we would have gone where else. We usually order take home but we also eat in. Your food just not good comparing to another Mc.Donald, we know. The oil you cook fries are often old, anyone can tell the good fries from the bad fries if you eat at McDonald often like our family. Your fries was black, soft and broken. It frustrated me when I tried to bring a good meal home, and the result was so bad but I just could not make another trip back to complain, I called, the manager apologized and promised to make note for someone to change the oil next day. Today was not the first time it happened. You just can't do business like this, not only it is bad reputation for you but also it is immoral to take people hard earn money to trade for such bad product. Today, what triggered me to write you this review because I am really upset when I was hungry and wanted a good filet of fish and fries...I opened my bag and right a way, I knew the oil again is not clean, even my filet of fish dark and oily. I know as owners, you can't be there every day but you just can't leave your business to a bunch of kids who do not care or perhaps they were not trained well. HORRIFIC! The slowest "fast food" restaurant I have ever been to. Once spent 26 minutes waiting for a salad inside. Now, two times in the past ten days, I have waited in the drivethru for OVER HALF AN HOUR! A man literally drove over the curb to get out of there because we hadn't moved in 15 minutes. Today I sat in the drive through for 14 minutes waiting for them to take my order while I watched as they took 3 other orders on the other lane. When they never came back to get my order I drove up to the window and asked them why no one was taking my order. The ladies working look annoyed and like I had obviously interrupted their conversation. Then they RUDELY asked me what I wanted and then to top things off when I asked for a milkshake they told me their machine was broken and they weren't going to help me. No apology no can I get you something else. I've never been treated so rude at a fast food joint one, and two they didn't even try to make it up to me for the 15 minutes i wasted waiting for them to decide to help me. Usually this place is probably what I would say the most poorly ran place I have ever seen. They are constantly out of things, food comes out cold. They don't honor nationally advertised sales and there hours are inconsistent, but...the other night I came through the drive thru, and I had the nicest kid help me. He was polite, articulate, made eye contact with me, real eye contact! I wish I had gotten his name, but he was a caucasian guy, wearing thick black rimmed glasses and pretty cute. I want to thank him for a job well done. I know that working at Mc Donald's is not a glamorous job. But thank you for doing it well. Ordered with Uber eats and when I got the order they forgot my doughnut sticks. No big deal I work in fast food too and I understand accidentally missing an item. I call the store and talk to a woman who says I can come there and show them my receipt and get them. I drive there and walk in and go up to the middle aged Latino man at the counter who was wearing an O'Neil black sweatshirt with no name tag. I politely tell him I called and I was here to get my sticks. He gives me a dirty look and says "I did that order myself. I put them in there and sealed the bag" in front of other guests. I said well I'm sorry but I didn't get them. he blamed Uber even though the bag was still sealed when I got it. He angrily got me the sticks and they were cold. I get it-it's McDonald's. And this one has always been terrible. But it McDonald's, and we all have our weaknesses. This one keeps getting worse. When you pull up you now hear "it will be a 15-20 minute wait" WTF. OK. I'm already in the drive through, and can't back out. So I give my order and wait. 10 mins later I pay, 10 mins later I get a bag of food. Check that bag- and it's wrong. Missing items. I get those items and go home. But then I get home, and those items are wrong, despite the label. Again, I get it- it's fast food (but is it?). The whole "you get what you pay for" only goes so far when I can go to any other fast food in Sherwood and get what you order. It's just unfortunate. read more

I apologize ahead of time to the owners for giving bad publicity to this McDonald's but over the few times I have visited this location, I have not had one good experience. 3 points for the Double K to consider: 1. If a customer asks for a refund after waiting over 25 minutes for a 4 piece nugget meal for their kid, your managers should show some sort of logic when dealing with upset people; maybe asking for the reason why a refund is being requested; maybe even go so far as to motivate the employees to not spend the majority of their shift texting on their phones. 2. If your staff cannot handle the business from the counter AND the drive through at the same time, maybe NOT such a good idea to ADD another drive through lane; another way to slam the staff with orders they cannot fill within a reasonable time! 3. In the process of remodeling any of your locations and there is no regular restaurant seating, a suggestion to accommodate your customers during this temporary situation would be to keep the Play Place seating open until close so customers have a place to eat in. There are many more i could give but here are just a few suggestions from 3 separate visits in hopes the reason for this kind of service is due to you guys not knowing what goes on in this restaurant. read more

No wonder the employees seem so drag! Food is always cold and re-heated several times. We live in town and this is our local McDonalds. We stop here fairly often but if you are going across town, stop at another location. The staff here is rude, short with customers and most don't under English well so orders are constantly wrong. I would say 3/5 times, I have brought my food home for the family, saw that I'm missing food, food is wrong, somebody else's order and had to return it to the store without any refund as a customer service gesture for wasting my time and money going back and forth. If you got the munchies and want to go somewhere late, don't count on McDonalds being open. This store closes early and usually closes before the set time. For fast food, this food isn't very fast. Real quick story to make this review even more factual. In January, we went through McDs and ordered a cheeseburger without onions. Get home, burger is regular with onions. Call the store and bring the food back. We watch a Hispanic manager grab our bag of food, grab the burgers from our bag without inspecting them, through them in a drive thru bag and out the window it went. My husband was so distraught and disgusted hat we may have gotten recycled food that went home with someone else that he yelled it in the store and people left their food on the tables. Could only imagine if we were to taint or sabotage that food for being given the wrong order and somebody else eating it. So gross. read more
