Stopped by here while on the road. It is clean and modern. One of the kiosks was out of order, but someone was helpful and quickly took our order at the counter. The turnaround was quick. Waste of time Don't come here unless you have too much time on your hands, me and my grandpa went to order some burgers to go hunting. We had to wait for about 10-20 minutes these servers told us that the food is almost done one French fry box was cold and the other was warm. Save yourself some grief and drive the extra miles to Post or Lubbock. Nine times out of 10, you won't get the correct order. Once you receive it, it's usually too nasty to eat. Two weeks ago I drove through and ordered an Egg Mcmuffin and Diet Coke. I asked for ketchup, salt and pepper. Got out of drive through and looked at bag - no ketchup, salt or pepper. Went into the restaurant to grab that. Came back out, tried my soda. It was a Dr. Pepper so I had to go back in and discard that and get a Diet Coke. Yesterday, I ordered the same thing - Egg McMuffin, Diet Coke, with same condiments. Didn't get any condiments. Had to sit at drive through a few minutes before they came back and I asked again. They threw some stuff in the bag and I pulled away to park and set up food. No pepper. Then I opened my raw Egg McMuffin, which was inedible. I ended up taking the egg off this atrocity and choking the rest down. Not worth the money or trouble to go here - the employees don't care if they get your order right or not. Terrible, I made an order and when I got it the cheese wasn't even on the burger, when I asked for the employee to look at it they couldn't tell what was wrong with it until I told them the cheese was only halfway on the burger. They said they'd fix it but they ended up making it worse, barely put lettuce on it, put incorrect items on it. I figured I'd try the burgers at least and the buns were stale, I tried to do a review to complain but the receipt was so messed up I couldn't even do that read more

Everyone has had McDonald's so I simply want to rate this location in comparison to others. Food is the same, sandwiches are usually thrown together and falling apart. Management is terrible but employees are friendly. 3/5 just because every time I visit, it is exactly what I expect it to be. Plus, when in Slaton, it's McDonald's or Sonic. Choose wisely! Against my better judgement, we went back to McDonald's and hoped we'd have better luck with lunch than we did with breakfast. Once again, the cheese was barely on my sandwich. I got a deluxe quarter pounder, where they charge extra for a couple pieces of shredded lettuce. They forgot the tomato and used the wrong type of lettuce. They also used the wrong lettuce on my husbands chicken sandwich, so it's possible they were out of the leaf lettuce, but they should have let us know. The fries were half filled. Overall, I'd rather drive the 20 minutes to Lubbock than go to this McDonald's. read more

I drop in this Slaton McD's only because of my granddaughter. 4 times out of 5 they never get my order right. Missing this that or the other from my drive-up order & I have to return to correct it. This last time, they had no soft drinks. 'Machine broke'. Either milk or water with a Happy Meal. If that wasn't bad enough, they charged for the water! Then with the Happy Meals, this location had the same toy. Only one kind. With 2 HM's, one grandchild wanted a difffernt toy from his sis, but to no avail. They said, 'We only have one kind of toy. Helpful hint for Slaton Mc Donalds. If you want to actually enjoy your food. Ask for everything you order to be made fresh, including fries. If you dont. You will end up getting food thats been sitting in warm holding trays for a long time and it will be old and stale. The wait will be longer, but it will be worth it. read more

Bathrooms and lobby looks unsanitary and we ordered 3 milkshakes and a frap, so we got our frap and so we were waiting about a minute or two for this lady to serve us milkshakes (which the milkshake machine was located right behind the register) and now she was saying how to do the milkshake machine to the employe and it took forever. We already paid and it wasn't a whole lot of money and so as 30 seconds pass by we haven't still gotten our milkshake and we head out cause we don't have all of this time for something like this and needed to get places. We head to the Sonic nearby, ordered 4 milkshakes this time and got them under 1 1/2 minutes. It feels disappointing to have this type service at McDonalds. Recommendations? Hire/promote a different person for this job or teach your employees how to operate a milkshake machine at a "fast food restaurant". read more

I am so pleased with this McDonald's. They had a Marvel Comic event which included: coloring contest, pictures with a comic hero, face painting, and lots of fun games. This event meant a lot to me because my daughters enjoyed it so much. My oldest daughter has a sensory disorder and has a difficult time in crowded areas. But she blossomed as soon as she saw Spiderman. She ran up to him and hugged his leg and he gave her a big hug. Every time she saw Spiderman, she would call out to him. It made my week. Thank you, so much for your enthusiasm. It made one family VERY happy!!! read more

This place was a dump. There was food all over the floor. Some kid in a tank top who wasn't working was in the kitchen area talking to the employees for a few minutes. (He left after that.) One of the ice machines didn't work. The guy in line after us ordered the same thing we did and was given his food 5 minutes before we got ours.
