This McDonalds is currently a joke. The line of cars for the drive thru goes down the block and they move only 1 car every 10 minutes or more. They should bring back Ronald for this location; he'd make a great representative, since it seems like this location is run entirely by clowns. I get that the pandemic is still going strong, but most places have figured out their logistics by now to at least provide a modicum of service to their customers. It was this woman's first day. She was extremely rude and short. We ordered 3 quarter pounders and then only received 2, one of which had no bun. That was great. Well, what can I say. Due to staffing issues, only the drive-through was open. I walked there, so I walked through the dive-through. This was a little fun, but also not very much fun breathing all the cars' exhaust on a hot day. The line was long and slow. And they they didn't even get my order right. Sausage biscuit ordered, sausage biscuit on the receipt, but I received a nasty chicken biscuit. This is probably my favorite McDs around Springfield, Or. Happy customer service. I'm pretty grouchy in the morning until I got my lg coffee in hand. However, the staff here manages to break a smile out of me just taking my order. 5 stars for outstanding effort. Bathrooms are clean and maintained frequently. Comfortable seating in the dining area. Drive-thru speakers are clear and loud enough to be heard but not overbearing. Conveniently located. read more

Ok well we had coupons yesterday so we went here. I was not expecting much. They really blew me away though. Everything was fresh af. The fries! Perfect amount of salt and crunchiness. The burgers. Perfectly peppered and none of it had been sitting under a heat lamp. It was all hot and even my tea was fresh brewed and didnt taste like the container needed cleaned. I ordered a medium fry and ten-piece nugget with sweet and sour sauce. At first the last cut my order off after just saying I wanted a ten-piece. Then was snobby and I never received my medium fry not die I receive my sweet end sour sauce I got ranch and barbeque. Just had a great experience at the Gateway Springfield McDonalds that made my day! As I was heading to my car with a full cup of coffee, I dropped it on the sidewalk. An employee was outside on his break (9 p.m.) and immediately offered to get me a new one. I declined saying, thanks but I was in a hurry. We got to the car and as I was checking my phone. Up to the window with a fresh cup of coffee he came! I was blown away by this and pretty much speechless. I can't believe I didn't get his name. Hoping the manager will see this and know who it is. (9/8/17 friday 9pm break, or end of shift?) And Kudos to the rest of the staff, great fish sandwich and great service tonight. My favorite McDonald's in the Eugene/Springfield area. Why? Because they do one thing really well and that's the McDouble. Two patties of deliciousness when you're craving The McD. You'll be able to pick them up for $1 here compared to other McDonald's in town, so it's a better deal. They also make them better compared to other McDonald's around town. They taste *fresher*. After eating breakfast at Elmers across the street, I stoped by this mcdonalds to get my Ice Coffee (why pay an outrageous amount of money at starbucks when you can get coffee just as good. I can't believe how completely rude the drive through lady was. We went through the drive through and ordered 2- number 7 breakfast burrito combos, and a bunch of other things for our kids including 3 choc milks. When we got to the window, my husband looked at the receipt and it said a BOGO for $1 sausage burritos. He told the lady "hey we ordered 2 number 7's not the BOGO thing" he said we are missing burritos and hash browns and coffee. She was totally confused and kept staring at us. He repeated we are missing some food. She was talking with someone inside and then gave us 2 hash browns. She then said we don't have choc milk would you like regular. He said no orange juice then. My husband kept saying we are still missing the burritos and coffee. She was like, I thought that was what the orange juices are for....After repeating multiple times we don't have our food correct, with a huge line behind us, my husband got mad and said to me this is fucking stupid. We started driving off and the lady that gave us our food yelled fuck you and flipped us off! All we wanted was our order to be corrected. We would of gladly paid the difference if there was one. Aweful experience at this location. We ordered clearly 2 sausage egg McMuffins, 2 hashbrowns as well as an additional egg McMuffin with no meat. Total was 7.20 I believe with no sales tax. We arrive to get our food and only get one HAM and cheese McMuffin, 2 hash browns, and one egg McMuffin. Now mistakes do happen, we all get that. However, the employee acted like we were insane and stated that we were charged the correct amount for the food we got. Which I believe to be 100 percent incorrect. But even then I asked for at least an additional sausage egg McMuffin and she had the audacity to try and charge me an additional 4 dollars for one sandwich. "I rebuttal with for one sandwich?" She barters and says ok 3 dollars. Now, I'm not sure what kind of back alley subsystem you are trying to work here but I am offended. The girl was unprofessional and flat out rude. Even for fast food it is bad. No heat lamps on the food backed up waiting to be served. Which means you get luck warm food. Made them remake my fillet of fish because I saw it sitting in a bag for five minutes. It was still cold by the time I got it. Get new heat lamps new microwaves, new thermometer, what ever but get the food out hot. read more

Food is as expected. But the ownership here seems a little tight/cheap. They don't run the same promotional pricing as other McDonald's stores and they charge extra for same price substitutions in a meal. Came in at 8:00 pm. Only 5 people sitting at tables and 3 people ahead of me in line. Food was done quickly but the sitting areas had several tables and the counter that needed to be wiped off. This is the nicest McDonald's that I have ever been to. It is very clean, and the service was excellent. It looks brand new inside. We were traveling thru the area, so maybe it is newly remodeled.
