I've been to this location multiple times. It is convenient, but the service is consistently horrible. It doesn't matter whether I go into the restaurant, or order at the drive-through. I wait a long time for my order, and the burgers are usually undercooked. Eating any meat from this location that is not cooked thoroughly concerns me deeply. I honestly think the best thing that the owner of this franchise could do is to fire everybody, and start with a fresh staff that doesn't corrupt employees that are hired moving forward. Be afraid. This McDonalds was a random stop at the drive thru. Upon arrival, I was notified that they were understaffed & could only take one of my two orders there. They said we could come in and order, so we went inside. The staff was visibly distressed, but the service was still good. Our food came out fairly quickly, considering the drive thru was busy. Last night I had a craving for a Big Mac. Zoomed down to the Potters Rd location wondering to myself why I don't go to this location more, since it's the closest on to my house. After I got home with my order I got my answer. The bun was hard and I mean the kind of hard that you can't bite through! The burger patties were cold and the cheese was in bits like they had torn off the corners of other slices of cheese and used them on my burger. and of course it wan't melted because the burgers were COLD. As for the special sauce, it was practically non existent. I'm not kidding! I would bet there wasn't even a 1/4 teaspoon of the stuff on the entire burger. Oh yeah, the fries were cold and had no salt on them. I tossed everything into the trash and had a frozen dinner. I've been to this location 3 times now in the last 3 months and it impresses me less every time. On the latest visit I first went inside but there were several people waiting to order and no one helping them. There was also a table of employees, maybe on break, but not concerned with all the customers waiting. I went to my car and ordered a Big Mac meal at the drive thru and was given the wrong order. I parked and went inside and the gentleman who gave me the meal took the bag back and said " well that is what I was handed to give you". He gave the bag to some other gentleman who replaced it with the correct meal and handed it back. Not one person apologized or seem to care. I wasn't looking for a freebie or discount but a little courtesy would go a long way. I would never be treated like this at Chick Fil A. Just sayin. read more

Well if I could give this review a 0 star, I would do so. First off there was only one car in front, but it took some time for to place my order, short staff due to the pandemic ..maybe but whatever. I place the order and then I get to the window to pick up the food I ask for a receipt for business/tax purposes was told by a gentleman with no gloves on they don't have any paper to give out receipts. What !? A franchise as large as McDonlads cannot keep receipt paper stock? It was only about 2:00pm. I ask to speak to the manager. She came to the drive thru with a nasty attitude and said we don't have any paper we apologize for the inconvenience and slammed the window in my face. And yes folks I mean "slammed". I waited there stunned ...I could see her and hear mouthing off to the employee who handed my food say "What does he want". She came back to the window I asked her for her name, she said Rashida Jordan. When she gave me her name she seemed proud of the work and customer service she had delivered. By the way the food was cold and the sweet tea was not sweet. I will contact corporate and probably provide an update. People do yourself a favor, go to chick fil a , you are better than this. Workers are always barely civil. They have no concept of "customer service." We went through the drive through, and they got our order completely wrong, so we turned around and I went inside. The manager was the only one who understood and was very apologetic. When he told the drive through "chick" (doesn't deserve a reference of respect) "I told you so; when I put things (here), they are in order and need to go that way," she said "It wasn't MY fault. It was yours." I waited for another 5-8 minutes to get our order while she "helped" others rudely, and when he apologized again when giving me our food, I told him (in front of her) that I appreciated his apologies, but his employees needed to learn to own their crap when they get orders wrong, because it is their job to check the order before it goes out the door. I really hate to do this, as I work in the food industry myself and I understand why good Yelp reviews are important, but this morning I went to this Mcdonald's and just wanted a meal! However when I got into one of the two pickup lanes, no one came on to greet me! So I waited, because why would I yell at an employee for having a busy day! It was around five minutes later and nobody taking my order that I decided to just pull through and explain that I think one of the radios are broken and maybe they didn't hear me! All I got to say was "Ma'am" before the woman (who was wearing the headset) started to yell at me, I was confused and I just wanted to explain that maybe the radio wasn't working. She then proceeded to tell me that both were working just fine and I just need to be patient. It seems little, but I have severe diagnosed anxiety and this really made me panic as I didn't know what to say. I felt awful because I never want to come off as rude to anyone especially someone who is working hard in the morning, but I left without my food because I was experiencing a panic attack. Not a great way to start my day... I hope that woman is alright and taking a breather though, she seemed to be working hard. read more

Ordered using the on line app. I arrived and parked in the delivery spot and waited. After 10-12 minutes I went inside because I had been charged on my card. No one knew anything about my order. I asked for the manager and was informed that she was using the restroom. She came out and said to one of the associates did you make the 4 medium fries and take that big order out? He had a deer in the headlights look that told me the answer. I asked for a receipt and was told they couldn't give me one since I ordered on line. Well this place has its history. If you think this wasn't the best McD you visited let me tell you it used to be worse before all the renovations. It has gotten a lot better, still gotta wait for your order a while but not as bad as and as long of a wait as it used to be. It was a joke before. I took my son thru the drive thru last night and it was just horrible. He got a hot fudge sundae w/extra hot fudge in which we paid 35 cents extra for the extra fudge. They didn't put the extra on that we ordered. We ordered it on top and on the bottom. He also ordered hash browns and a milk. Apparently they burned the first order so we waited over 10 minutes at the window. Cars were piling up in line and the manager was annoyed that I asked for the extra hot fudge that I paid for. He took the ice cream to supposedly put the extra hot fudge on. We didn't realize till we were home that instead of hot fudge he put chocolate syrup on that they put in the coffees. It was a lot thinner than the original dab of hot fudge and smelled like Hershey syrup or any cheap chocolate syrup u would put in milk. Service is HORRIBLE. DONT GO HERE. The one in Indian Trail in much better. The one in Wesley Chapel is not good either. Employees bullied my boys and their friend because they didn't believe the age of my 15yr old. One employee threatened to beat up my youngest child when he stuck up for his brother. They really need to straighten up these McDonalds around here. read more

I do not agree with all the negative reviews I read about this McDonalds. I have been visiting this McDonalds for years and find it runs about the same as the others within a 200 mile radius. I travel a 200 mile radius weekly. The volume of traffic at the Stallings McDonalds would overwhelm any server. I have never been in that particular location when it wasn't busy. like all fast food places, and many other businesses they are staff challenged. Bottom line just like any other business they have goals, quotas, and other daily challenges, including irate customers. The store is not dirty just old and is currently under renovation. We all have a job to do and it would be so much better if we all just slow down, have patience, and cut people some slack. read more

Yesterday i went thru the Drive thru ordering a Senior Coffee and Stawberry Pie. I'm a contractor and keep my coin change in a juice bottle and handed the attendant the bottle, asking her to get the $1.95 from my change. There was some $5-6.00 there which she dumped on her counter. In a bit of a hurry, I said for her to keep the change for a donation She gave me a disguted / irritated look and didn't even say thanks. I just visited again for a refill, and the attendant spoke with same tall girl with the long pony tail, she went to the Shift Manager and he proceded to point at a sign and advised they didn't do refills the next day. If he and the whole staff hadn't been so rude I would have paid. I left, leaving MY cup and won't visit that McD's again.
