On a Sunday night around 10pm my friend and I drove along Ventura Blvd looking for something to eat before a late night of drinking at The Little Rock. Sadly this is all we found. The inside was sketchy and scary. Only two people working behind the counter. One at the drive in and the other for walk in customers. There was a pool of water on the ground right next to the soda fountain. (Walking hazard anyone?!?!?) Homeless people hanging out in the back, two weirdo guys staring us down and not surprisingly was the bad food. My friend ordered the Angus burger with mushrooms while I settled for my fish sandwich. I waited what seemed like forever for my food to arrive. I watched in horror as my friend ate ever single piece of his burger right down to the rubber mushrooms. We were full and ready for some alcohol to soak up our disgusting food. We all make bad decision in our lives. if I could turn back time and fix things I would not have been talked into coming here. Can you give a negative review? I can here at night expecting to fill my stomach with inexpensive food quickly but waited 15 minutes for nuggets. The spectacle clad cashier was talking to some guy next to the register about being wasted and their friends being wasted instead of taking our order. I never thought I would be writing a review for McDonalds, but I was compelled to write a positive review on this location. I walked in just as they started to pick up business at lunchtime and I handed them an order that I typed out for 12 happy meals (for my daughters kindergarten class) and each Happy Meal had a specific request (example: Hamburger with only Ketchup and pickle, Cheeseburger with no sauce etc...) these are picky eaters. I also had drink orders, sauce requests and a few adult meals for the teachers. In about 15 minutes, they handed me (in an organized box) my orders with not ONE mistake! I honestly was so impressed. They also never acted annoyed with my giant size order, the manager came out and she handled most of it. Her team and staff jumped in to say "I got the kids drinks" "I'll handle adult sodas" "I'm on sauces" while she packed up each Happy Meal. I felt so taken care of and will never go to another branch as long as I can help it! Bravo Team! read more

Okay, there is only one reason why I used to come to this location. That is because it was close. That's it. Other then that, I would consider this to be the worst McDonalds ever. the staff is hilariously terrible. When we went there to order the girl at the counter couldn't answer one simple question which was what our the options for the chicken McNuggets portion options. She didn't even know how to answer. He kept saying 4,6,20,40 or 4,6,10,40,50. All I know is that they were Both incorrect. How stupid could she possibly be! Then she actually said the correct answer which was 4,6,8,10,20,40. So then I ordered 10 chicken McNuggets with fries and a chocolate and vanilla shake. Then my brother ordered another chocolate and vanilla shake with an egg mcMuffin. That seemed to confuse the girl for some reason. She then rolled her eyes! Right then and there she should of been fired. So she kept on repeating what we ordered and kept repeating it wrong. That's when we demanded that the manager take our order. So the manager came to take our order. Then we sat down and waited for our food. When we went to go pick up our food, I saw that they only made one shake and not two. Then I talked to the manager and told her that we ordered two. That's when she said, "you only wanted one, I only charged you for one." That's when I really got pissed off. I tried to respond to her but then she cut me off by pointing at me and telling me to stop talking!! She is a terrible manager and should be fired immediately as long as the girl who took our order. So I payed them to make another shake. When we actually finally got to sit down and eat we noticed that our fries were cold and stale. So we took them back to the manager and told her to make a new one. It really is unbelievable to me that we had to pay 25 dollars for that horrible experience. For your information McDonalds, if you are a manager of a business especially a restaurant, the number one rule is that the customer is always right. You need to accommodate your consumers, not turn them down. When you see a customer unhappy you need to accommodate them and do everything in your power to make there experience enjoyable. Ok so I don't know when they updated but the interior of this McDonalds is now very study friendly. they put in new seating. Television, free wifi and all this other stuff. I was very surprised to find other students also studying here and just overall just hanging out. I know Starbucks is the usually the place to go study but hey this Place has it going on too. The customer service at this drive-through McDonald's is a joke I ordered food with me in my boyfriend in the car and not even a few seconds in we were trying to order she gets really impatient, like unrealisticly impatient. I'm trying to see if they can take a coupon and award from the McDonald's app and she keeps constantly bickering saying "hello hello hello are you there?!! HELLO!!" it was really obnoxious it was like talking to a toddler. I'm absolutely shocked that an employee would talk to us like that we weren't rude or anything and not only that but when I tried to order she was giving me disrespect about how I shouldn't be talking and how the driver should be talking for me I have never been that disrespected in the drive-through before absolutely unacceptable this woman was a Hispanic in her middle age years I assume around 40. Honestly, I'm not one to write a review about a fast food place usually because let's face it....it's fast food and unless something is awful, well, it's just fast food. But I have to say out of the 5 times or so that I've stopped at this McDonalds they are SO quick and efficient (and I usually ONLY go to McDonalds if I'm in an airport on the run). I live in walking distances and I've tried to give this McDonald's a chance. For heavens sake it's in Tarzana - one of the nicest parts of the valley. I came in for breakfast today and there was a line..but to my surprise the people handled it very well ..it seem to me that most of these customers are regulars..because by the time they got up to the front of line their coffee was ready..the line was cut down fast ...a plus was the friendly staff. Tbh this is McDonald's so I don't ever expect much more than what I pay for but they always give the skimpiest portion of fries here! They have the most annoying drive-thru, especially when they ask you to park on the side and you ask them for condiments but they still manage to forget or ignore your request so I usually have to get out of the car and go inside to request condiments or correct how wrong my order is. Sometimes they don't even charge me for what I order and I repeat my order to make sure it won't happen this time around but it always happens so I have to go back inside and reorder the items they completely missed when I first order and on top of that I repeat my order just Incase they didn't hear any item. I don't understand why they don't bother to make sure everything is accurate with the customer before asking cars to pull over to the side and delivering a very frustrating order that I have to rectify everytime.
