I was asked to pay $6 when the price on the board was $4.39. When I questioned the discrepancy, the giggling girl at the window told me they forgot to change the prices, which was a complete lie. When I asked for the manager, he apologized for her behavior and corrected the price to 4.39. This is not the first time this is happened, so beware when ordering and paying at the drive-through. read more

Drive thru review: mc chicken was not hot, wilted lettuce. As others have stated, when pulling up the the second window where you receive your food, someone is just sticking the bag out the window. On Saturday afternoon (3/1), I was across the street from McDonalds on Ventura and Wilbur, visiting a costume shop. My boyfriend was approached by a homeless woman, who was visibly injured. She told us she was really hungry, and the manager at McDonalds would not let her in the store to purchase anything to eat. She asked us to go in and get her a hamburger and a large coffee. She reached into a sock and handed us $7.00 OF HER OWN MONEY. When I went into the McDonalds, I asked to speak with the manager, and asked why they would not allow her into the restaurant. The lady "Maya", said they would not allow her in there because she "called their other manager a name". If you have a injured and hungry homeless woman, who has HER OWN money and is not begging, why wouldn't you let her in to buy something to eat?? The only reason I can come up with is, it was "bad for business" to have a homeless person in the facility, or they assumed she didn't have her own money, and would be begging for food. I am ashamed to have ever called myself a McDonalds customer, and I will NEVER return to your establishment. First they tell me that they don't have a 2 sausage egg mcmuffin combo and charge me like $10.00 and when I ask for orange juice instead of coffee they tack on another $2.00 I've been ordering this combo a couple times a week all over Los Angeles and it has always been about $7 something with orange juice. Knowing it wouldn't be the value meal that I wanted, was completely rude and disrespectful telling me I can save money if I do this. The only reason I give this place 2 stars instead of 1is because they let our school do a fundraiser their. I went to eat there just so I could get the extra credit. It is the WORST McD's ever. There was a long wait in the middle of the day. They had only 1 person at the register and a million people in the back. I remember four people (orders) ahead of us ordering a mint milk shake. I remember because I said "eww, mint milk?" When it was me and my two girlfriends turn to order, my best friend ordered a vanilla milkshake. We ate, and my biggest complaint with any fast food place is that the fries are not hot. They were not hot here, they were very soggy as well, and the only reason I didn't go complain and get my money back is because many people from my school were there and I did not want to make a scene. This is one of the worst locations I have been to. I went by and placed my order with the an attendant that had the most lackluster personality. Not only was I missing items when I was given my order. I was also given the wrong item when I brought up the missing item to the cashier. But remember one thing, when you're in line at 5:30 in the morning and it's freezing outside go easy on the cashier but has to wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning it is absolutely freezing and I can tell while they're taking my money how cool they are. It's your standard Mickey Deez. The golden arches has a standard for cleanliness and service. This location meets those. What sets this particular one apart is all the images of Africa. The reason for said images is Tarzan. Seems the city of Tarzana is named after the classic character of fiction. And I know this thanks to the informative posters around on the walls. As a fan of the old Tarzan books & films (and to an extent the Disney version) I really enjoy visiting this McDonald's for that very reason. read more

I've be wanting to leave a review for a while now. I've been coming to this McDonalds for about 4 years now. I only come through the drive through I never been inside. Every time I come here they I dont wait no more than a minute or two after pay to get my food. The froes are always fresh and the customer service is amazing! Ive been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I always get good service everytime. It's OK - I am not even remotely a regular McDonalds diner. But, on occasion I will go there to get a low-fat ice cream or a drink or something. I had just finished a grueling 10 mile hike and was worn out so stopped in for an iced tea. The way this location is set up now with the kiosks is...just kinda weird. I placed my order on the kiosk, paid for it with credit card, and then stood around behind the counter until they gave me the cup with the lemon and sugar in it that I requested. There were a couple people ahead of me. I guess they figure this is better than having people wait in line and pay. Burger King and Wendy's don't do this...I know Wendy's was considering putting in kiosks that would actually distribute some items, and maybe cups for the drinks, but they decided not to pursue that capital expenditure. Anyhow, let's just say that it's not really the greatest set-up. The elderly folks probably can not figure this out and would need to order directly at the counter. They now have curbside deliveries as well...for the folks who can't be bothered with the drive-thru. Although, maybe it's a better thing because some fast food locations have horrendously long drive-thrus (just look at In n Out, with its mile-long lines on Ventura Blvd. that block the driveway of the mall next to it!) read more

Well figures this is a franchise store and not corporate. They have no concept of what speedy service would even begin. They now are not open early mornings, but they are inside getting paid, just not able to sell food. Employees probably complained it was too demanding a job to serve people AND stock cups and napkins. Real lazy people. Been here a few times before work and I think that the service is not so bad compared to other McDonalds. The drive thru seems to be busy every time I go, so I just walk in and there are usually no lines, so if you're in a rush and there are a lot of cars, try walking in.
