This place has never done us wrong. Besides the one time when our orange juice was extremely watery, they have a free consistent and efficient. We used to go get our breakfast there about three times a week after our ladies walking group but we could no longer do that. Only way I just wanted to take a moment to say were a good job the staff has done your after year. I know that chain locations like this content to get a bad rap but employees have always done a good job for us. The only thing that I don't like right now is that they have replaced leaf lettuce with shredded lettuce. And if you have ever tried to eat a deluxe quarter pounder with bacon and shredded lettuce in it, you know what a giant mess that can make. read more

The best thing about this McDonalds is that it is great for business at the Burger King down the street. I have lived near this restaurant for 13 years. For the first 8-9, this one was fantastic. Whenever they got a new GM several years ago, everything started tanking - fast. Now it is a cesspool of waiting, errors, people who don't know how to work the register, and repeating yourself 2-4 times in the drive thru. There is a revolving door for employees. (They seem to churn through them very quickly.) Why hasn't this GM been replaced yet!?!? TIPS! 1. If you are in a hurry, don't bother. 2. Horrible service These employees clearly don't have their priorities straight. We had our order taken by an older woman probably in her 60's? She was definitely a senior. And she didn't even offer to take our order she just said "you know you can use the kiosk to order right?" But we just asked her if we could just order normally, she was just rude and when we asked for two #5 meals, her first response was "what is that?" Confused, we told her that it was the 10 piece nugget meals, we also ordered milkshakes in our order and didn't realize until we looked at the receipt that she put our milkshakes as a strawberry banana smoothie and a chocolate milk. We waited 15 minutes for our food and got it barely lukewarm, and when we tried to ask for sauces the staff deliberately ignored us numerous times, and payed more attention to the drive through orders than the people in the lobby and there was like 7 other people in the lobby waiting to be helped. The only thing that keeps this location out of 1 star purgatory is that it's a Playland location. Yes, Playland is like suburban Thunderdome where the screams and screeches of hyper children, some of whom are your own, roar through your head like some Biblical penance. But, it keeps the kids happy for a time, so it's got that going for it. Which is nice. But the rest of this location is bad. Like really bad. Like forgot food items in the kid's meal bad. It's bad enough that the kiddos are wholly on the side of that clown faced buffoon in the yellow pajamas, but when this location forgets the nuggets in the nuggets kids meal and we don't find out until we're home you might as well just tell the kids there is no Santa and, to make matters worse, that Santa that isn't real also turned the imaginary Easter Bunny into hasenpfeffer and ate that bunny with a pie made from the Great Pumpkin for dessert. I'm saying that's bad. They've forgotten food items many times. This was just the unforgivable time. We drive out of our way to other McD locations when the siren song of corporate nuggets sings too loudly. We have complained to HQ more than one time about this location. Once in a while, you honestly don't have the time to stop for a real meal, or hey sometimes a MickyD's burger and a Coke sounds just about perfect. Last night my hubby and I were in a race against the sunset and needed to grab some food. We swung in to this McDonalds and ordered the following: #11 Value Meal (Fish Fillet) - with a Sprite Grilled Chicken Sandwich, no Mayo, Large Diet Coke They confirm the order, we pay and pull forward..."Just Jack" wannabe hands us the gigantic Diet Coke, and a bag of food. We patiently wait for the Sprite and he tells us NO, it isn't on the order. We say yes, it is, he then argues with us for 3 solid mins, even going so far as to try to spin the order monitor towards us so we can see for ourselves. He keeps harping that they didn't charge us for it. I'm not sure how many times we had to tell him that we were still missing a beverage, but finally, he huffed, and said that's $1. I'm pretty certain he pocketed the money. Worse part it yet to come: Sodas are flat Fries are old, cold and mostly soggy Fish fillet is luke warm, with no tartar sauce Chicken sandwich smells like an ash tray Was so gross, we couldn't eat anything. Ok this McDonald's sucks so hard. So when I came in for an online pickup I told this old lady that worked there my name, and order number and she responded with "I don't know I can't find it" "stop talking" "I Know I Know" she a had very rude attitude. I asked for an ice cream cone and they said "The Ice Cream Machine Is Broken" like cmon we all know that it's not broken and you just don't want to get the ice cream and WALK .00000001 inches to get to the machine like BRUH. Food and service as expected, although this is the second time in a row I've ordered a chocolate shake that tastes faintly of mint. The play structure is a large one, good for school-aged kids, but nothing for the younger set. I didn't see anyone come and tidy or clean during our stay, which is not the same as other area Mcdonalds that we've tried. read more

For real McDonalds food pretty much has a standard across the board so the food was fine what we got of it. I have also been to this McDonalds over 10 times in the past year or so. Every single time the food takes FOREVER and the order is Always wrong. Not to be absolute when I say ALWAYS for example the past two months 1) Order one large Diet Coke and a McGriddle. Received one large coke and sausage biscuit. 2) 10 pc Chix Nugget Small fries for the kid...received a chicken tenders no fries. 3) ordered two Big Mac Jrs 2 large fry got one Big Mac one large fries. Order comes (20 minutes later like what are you doing back there?) and there's 2 sausage mcmuffins. I go and ask for one with ham (because that's what i ordered) and then they give me a new one, with sausage? Was I not clear? Ham? Anyway. Go back up and ask again for them to fix it and it's been another 20 minutes and I just got my ham. If i open it and it's another sausage one I swear i'll blow this whole place up period. I work within a 1 block radius of this Mcdonalds so I have visited these guys on a regular basis for several years. I especially go for my Diet Coke fix of the day which by the way, only costs $1.00. They know me so well they usually have my cup on the counter before I say a word. I like that some of the employees have been there for over 10 years and they seem to keep staff for quite awhile in general. I've never once been treated rudely by any of them. Of course they occasionally get my order wrong (when I order food in addition to the diet coke) as any fast food place does. They are always busy it seems but there's a good reason for that: I was told by the manager of the store that this Scholls Ferry location is the busiest in the whole state! Considering this, I think they do a great job in general and they have my continued business. read more

This was the worst drive through experience ever. We were in line @ 1:15 pm on Saturday afternoon. The vehicle ahead of us had already pulled ahead from the delivery window and was waiting for their food. We were asked to pull ahead so others could pay. We did just that. The car behind us was told to park off to the right in a parking area under development. The next car parked next to the folks waiting off to the right. You now had 4 cars waiting and now ppl were jumping out of line and leaving! Cars were backed up from the order speaker to the Oil Can Henry's. We ordered TWO Big Macs and a small fry. The guy in front of us had a small bag. So much for a large order in front of us holding up the McDonald's universe. Inside the restaurant there were few folks to be found. Either a poor manager or the employees in the food prep areas need COACHING! That's McDonald's own nomenclature for addressing any issue that pops up. This McDonald's forgets items all the time. 3/4 visits they've forgotten a fry or a burger -- and we order for TWO people. This is also the slowest location I've been to. People have backed out (nearly into others behind them) just to get out of the slow, long line. Not worth going to this location. Edit: if you want to get your food faster in the drive-thru, try using the left lane. If you're the unlucky soul in the right lane, you'll likely have at least 8 people cut you. The employees taking orders hardly help those in the right lane. read more

I don't have high (or for that matter-hardly any!) expectations of McDonald's, nor do I eat here very often, but when tummies are growling AND nowhere else is open (I drove by 3 other places that were closed before I resorted to McDs) I pulled in to the drive through. I should also add that it was 4:37am (my neighbors had a LOUD party that involved 3 police cars thus waking me from a deep sleep) and I tried to order a burger. Apparently, they switch to breakfast menu at 4am (surprise to me) so I ordered an Egg McMuffin. It had only been 37 minutes since they switched to breakfast, so I was expecting a freshly made 'muffin. I grabbed my little sack of food and pulled over to eat a bite. It was obviously not made today - the english muffin was so dry, hard and stale that I couldn't even tear off a bite! What? This is but one of a series of bad things that have happened to me in the 7 years I've lived near this location. The others involved them messing up 3 of 4 food orders, another time it was literally cold hard french fries (the only thing I ordered) and other various mishaps. I don't know why corporate McDonald's doesn't attend to this location or franchise, but they ought to. Sad me at 4:37am, sad them for doing such a piss poor job....again and again. That's how you get 1 star. Tired though I was, I promptly got online and gave corporate McDonald's an honest assessment. For what it is, this location is one of the best you'll find. They move relatively quickly despite being busy basically all of the time. Orders are accurate and corporate pricing is nice (cheaper than franchise locations). Employees are well-trained and effective. Can't give it five stars as I've been to locations that are better but this is the best one in Tigard. read more

Mcdonalds is mcdonlads. No question about it. I personally know the owner (he owns 14 mcdonalds in this metro area) and he does a fair job at taking care of them all.. Few need work but that's a story for another day. Reason why I rated this 4 stars was simply based on the look and fell and the service. As others say this is a huge and fancy mcdonlads. No plastic looking decor here. Stone flooring, a couch with nice red carpet underneath it. There might have been a gas fireplace somewhere in there too. Anyway the family and I were heading to cottage grove and stopped at this mcdonalds that morning to grab something to eat on the way. I was talking to my grandfather when a manager called out our order. As I turned a second manager told us our order. I heard them the first time but I thought it was nice that a second manager gave us a friendly reminder. One thing I noticed is the sausage patty looked to be more tender and not over cooked like the Hillsboro location. read more
