I recently visited McDonald's and was surprised to see green eggs on the breakfast menu. The color definitely caught me off guard at first, but they actually tasted pretty normal and fresh. The staff was friendly and explained it was just a fun seasonal item. The restaurant was clean, the food came out quickly, and overall it was a funny and memorable experience. I'd probably try it again just for the story. read more

This was the slowest fast food experience I have ever had had. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. Then another 15 for our food. They couldn't get the order right. Ended up leaving. It was so bad that instead of stopping in Trinidad for breakfast quickly the next morning we just ate MREs. read more

I believe this was the worst McDonald's I have experienced. Now I see why the low ratings. According to a local, the owner has another location and it gets all the attention because it's a college town. And it's always like this. We passed through 5:45am this morning headed south. The lobby was not busy. The bathrooms had no toilet paper. When the employee was told she said she knew. The kiosks were closed, no one at the register. Two employees were talking about personal issues. I stood there and waited thinking it would get their attention instead I have to interrupt their conversation for me to be waited on. The food took 30 mins & was lukewarm. It looked like there was plenty of employees running around in the kitchen but no direction. All I can say is we will not be back. read more

Definitely the weirdest McDonald's experience I have ever had. We had no problem getting our food out quick after ordering on the kiosk. Unfortunately, they were out of almost every sauce and cookies. However to make up for us not getting the cookies and sauce we had ordered they gave us complementary fried pies and McFlurrys. Not a huge amount of food choices in Trinidad, CO. It is mostly fast food and just a few restaurants some of which were not open because of the holiday. McD's was empty and open. We stopped for a quick cheeseburger, spicy chicken and ice cream. Not the most healthy but fills the hole in the belly. Staff taking our order were very nice nice and professional. No complaints there. Free parking and WiFi. read more

Food seemed alright. Just stopped quickly on a road trip to grab some fries. Service was expected for a McDonalds. But my main complaint is the bathrooms were disgusting and none of the tables were clean. And the trash cans were full and almost overflowing. It was okay for McDonald's, not overly friendly. But the food WAS hot and my breakfast burritos tasted good. Can't really ask for more than that from McDonald's haha. They haven't opened their dining area, so don't expect to just be able to run inside and go to the restroom. There was even a big sign across the entry door stating they "don't have public restrooms." Stopped in about 6am on 9/5, men's room was absolutely disguising. Feces soaked toilet paper on the floor and my shoes were sticking to the floor. Urine was solidified on the bowl under the seat. The table we sat at was dirty. Both sets of glass doors leading in were grimy and dirty. I opted to not eat my breakfast and try my luck in Raton. The female in our group did say the ladies room was nice though. read more

Would we recommend...,NO .... Took 27 minutes to get a large coffee and a McFlurry to go. All counters and soda area were filthy.

This McDonald's location is difficult to get to because you have to drive through a slight residential area before tucking under 25. That's if you're heading southbound. Reviews for fast food places can swing wildly but this location always has the best hash browns and best breakfast service. The hash browns are always hot and super crispy. Even the breakfast sandwiches are great! We only have been through drive thru and the experience has been wonderful each time. Navigating the roads to get here is kind of a pain but you get rewarded with an amazing meal. Fast food isn't the best option but when you're on the road for a very long time, it is a welcomed stop! read more

After 12 hrs of driving from TX, show up here expecting a nice warm meal. We walked in @11:25PM(they close at 12AM) and we heard the lady at the counter grunt and the same for the cook guy. The counter lady explained that they were done making fries and that the burgers were fair game. We walk over to get drinks and all the lids were out. All of their soda tasted disgusting! There was a huge spot of spilled soda right in front of the machine and every table you would walk to was dirty. I'm talking about old crusty pieces of lettuce glued to the table dirty. This place is a sad excuse for a restaurant. The owner deserves to fire the entire staff and have a sit down with them to evaluate their life goals. The absolute worst customer service ever at any restaurant I have ever been to. They will not take your order, they just ignore you until you realize you need to order at the kiosk. When food is ready they call you number leaving your food on the counter and run away so they do not have to interact with you. They forgot my drinks. I tried to get there attention by saying excuse me as any of the 5 workers passed by. I resorted to waving my arms and one of the cooks saw me and said something to another worked he shrugged and went in the back. After I got the attention of one of the other workers and told him I was missing coffee and OJ he disappeared around a corner without a word. A gal came around a corner (she looked like she could be the manager) put the drinks in front of me with no eye contact or saying anything and walked away. He couldn't see good enough to swipe his card and the manager who was working the register refused to help him. The morning shift does a great job !! The afternoon and evening shift consistently doesn't understand how to put together a Cheeseburger. How hard is it to stack 3 round pieces and piece cheese and why are we now forgetting to put the ketchup and pickles? Didn't everyone there recently get boost in their income? This McDonald's management should get training on efficiency and customer service. They never get the order right. They close the bathroom during lunchroom. They spray water/disinfectant during lunch where there is most traffic, getting customers wet and sometimes sprayed. Needs more improvement in customer service. read more

Food is always either cold to where the fries are already I guess you can say "gummy or chewy" we've gotten hamburgers that were still raw inside or the order is ALWAYS wrong!! I'm allergic to dairy and every time I ask for no cheese I get cheese or my kid asks for plain and it comes with everything in it anyway! They're lucky they haven't gotten sued for messing up someone's order who had a severe allergy they need to take that into consideration.
