This McDonald's was average. Stopped here for a rest stop and was pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms are clean and food is good. The fries were crispy and salted well. The Big Mac and chicken nuggets were good. The quarter pounder however was a different story. In the photo, it was marketed to have lettuce and tomatoes whereas the actual burger had none of that. It was literally just a hamburger with ketchup! Overall, this place was okay. read more

If I could give 0 stars I freaking would. Stopped to get gas and thought I would, against my better judgement, grab some McDonald's to hold me over until we got where we were going. Worst. Mistake. Ever. First of all. There were flies EVERYWHERE. On the tables, on the menus, on the soda counter, everywhere. When I got my food, my cheeseburgers BOTH had no cheese (I ordered the 2 cheeseburger meal). I took it back, and the employee told the manager who just shrugged her shoulders and told her to replace them, which took over 10 min. Not a big fan of McDonalds, but they have a good chicken Sandwich and free wifi internet. I have gone to several locations in Visalia, Hanford, Fresno, Bakersfield, McFarland, Tehachapi, Paso Robles, and Delano. Not one location (besides this newly remodeled restaurant) has even 1 single plug for laptop use. It's like saying... "Hey, we want to offer free internet to attract customers, but we don't want you to actually use it!" This location, on the other hand, looks like it was specifically built to tailor to laptop users, with several high 2 person dining tables next to open outlets. I count... at least 10 outlets for for public use (Enough for 20 people to plug in). read more

The wait here is horrible. One of the only few McDonald's with only 1 drive thru, the wait is usually 20-30 minutes. So if you're in a hurry this is definitely not the place to go! There are 2 other McDonald's along the highway with in 2 miles which are 10 times faster then this place. My recommendation would be to use the mobile app and order ahead rather then waste your lunch or break in line. read more

It was 9:30 pm and I was hungry plus all restaurants nearby close at 9. If I had checked the reviews beforehand I probably wouldn't have come here.Their drive through was packed, therefore I decided to go inside the restaurant. I greeted the guy working the register and he seemed polite, proceeded to order a salad when the cook screamed that they were out of salads. The guy at the register said they had some left and instructed the cook to look for them. At this point I didn't wan to order anything but I hadn't eaten anything the whole day plus I was curious about what would develop. Five minutes later my food was ready. Kudos to the kid at the register who keeps track of their inventory. All three employees that I saw there were working really hard cleaning, cooking, taking orders, etc. much respect to them. Lindsay and I were famished. We were driving. We pulled off to another McD's but it was closed. This one had a drive thru that was open. There was an apple sauce style topping to her grilled chicken that made it inedible. They forgot my BBQ sauce. And the Big Mac patties were kind of disgusting until you got to the middle with the sauce of redemption. I don't know normally do fast food but was in a bind. The employees look dirty like get yourself together look decent with your hair up or pin or something.. the walls the tables were filthy. When ordering I looked over the counter lots of food on the ground it was dirty . This place is remodeled nice but they are making it worst. It's not even worth giving them One star. Purchased a clubhouse burger, quarter pounder and a large fry. The box of fries was barely half full about the same amount as a medium fry. Very disappointed in the quality. Are your drive thru windows taking advantage of customers who are not eating in and after leaving find it too much trouble to go back to fix a problem? You could very easily lose my business that way, there are just so many other places we can go to get a burger. :( read more

I'd like to start by saying that I generally do not make it a point to post nasty/insensitive reviews. I am not the customer who hops onto a review site after one negative experience to slam the company name because I recognize that a single customer's words can have a powerful impact on the business's success. I do not wish to hurt anyone's livelihood. HOWEVER. After repeated bad experiences at this McDonald's, I felt an honest review was necessary since calls to management did not seem to have an affect. I like McDonald's and I've got the waist-line to prove it. I frequent this location because it is fairly close to where I live. It is sad that I know better than to come here during my lunch hour, unless I'm up for wasting at least 20 minutes in the drive thru line. Ok, lunch time, I get it, you're busy. But I don't care what time of day or night you arrive, they are always backed up and slow. That to me signals a poor management system. Having been a food manager myself within a different restaurant, I knew when to start stockpiling and bracing my crew for peak periods. I was rarely caught "with my pants down." Even on those few occasions when an unexpected rush did occur, I made it a point to acknowledge, make eye contact with, and thank the customer. Here you are lucky to get a sidewards glance from the cashier in the drive thru window. I can name several occasions where I was not offered an apology for the 15 minutes it took to arrive at the first of two windows; instead the cashier actually greeted me with a stale "13.41." That was it. No please, no thank you. Just took my money, handed me my change, and closed the window. As far as the actual food received, this McDonald's can never seem to get it right. I don't know how much of their inaccuracy can be attributed to "stupidity" or just outright not paying attention. One might argue, "hey there are busy!" But that argument falls flat when you've waited in excess of 20 minutes and the order is STILL wrong. 20 minutes is more than enough time to prepare the Quarter pounder with cheese meal I normally get. No modifications. Maybe a pack of cookies. It is sad that I have to sit there and actually do a thorough check of my bag before I drive off to make sure everything I ordered is there; because I really don't mean to insult the workers. I've just been burned one too many times by them. I can recall one time I was about to pull forward to collect my bag, and the SUV in front of me suddenly backed up because her order was wrong too! Again, I am pretty patient and understand the stress the workers are under, but it becomes maddening when you see lackey-daisy employees who look like they couldn't care less about their jobs. Which sadly, is likely the case. These guys only make minimum wage, or if they are in management, maybe a few dollars above. I am a firm believer in when your employees are happy, your customers are happy. McDonald's employees are not happy, folks. One cannot expect exceptional customer service here, because what incentive does McDonald's give them to provide it? Get 'em in, get 'em out, baby. It is highly unlikely that I am going to stop eating at any McDonald's. The sad truth is that McDonald's knows this. They are huge and can be found everywhere. So what if one person like me stops going to one location? They figure hey, we've got 12 more in a 10 mile radius to "serve" you. So I do not expect this review to change a thing. My reason for posting it is to hopefully give someone else who is pressed for time as I am a reason to head to the nearest Carl's Jr's.....or just stick to good old-fashioned eating at home. read more

Another wrong order at the drive up window , the girl taking it the order was brisk and acted like she was hating her job, no hello or thank you , no read back of order, just abrupt. At pick up window was another dolled up, I think manager or assistant manager with no people skills. When told that our order was missing big breakfast she just hem hawed and closed window and went to back...no explanation. The line behind us was long, we left ! The staff here needs more training of their job...courteousy, politeness are number one. Won't be back. read more

Normally I would never even think about posting a review of a McDonald's restaurant, as one should not have too high expectations when it comes to that fast-food chain. As long as the service is quick and the location is semi-clean, that should work with almost anyone. I only stopped there as it was next to the freeway and I was hoping to get a quick bite and just hit the freeway again. It wasn't packed at all and it still took us at least 20 minutes to get our order and probably another 10 to get the order right. Other than that, it had very dirty floors and tables. On top of it constant beeping sound coming from the machines informing the employees that it's time to take out fries from the fryer, or that maybe it's the time to flip the burger. No offense to the people who work here but OMG this is the most incompetent organization anywhere. Today they had a guy mopping right inside the door at noon, busiest time of the day. People come in, walk thru the wet, and leave a trail of dirty footprints following it. The mopping made the floor dirtier, not cleaner. There's no ketchup in the dining room and you'll never get it with your order, so you'll make a second trip to the counter every time. I dare you to order ANYTHING and get exactly what you asked for. I dare you. Today I got ice cream and Coke I didn't order (or pay for) and didn't get other stuff I did order and pay for. I ordered to go, and the food showed up on trays. This McDonalds is sad and dirty. The floors are covered from entrance to entrance with dirt and food stains. The staff are chatting at the register like there all on break and not work.
