This was our go to McDonalds for a little over a year. My husband is obsessed with fountain Diet Cokes because McDonalds as a company is known to make it more carbonated and thus more satisfying when you drink it. The last couple of times we've been here however, they have consistently not filled the cup to the top. We forgave it a few times, but also clarified that we wanted the large Diet Coke--aka filled to the top. Each time, we watched as they simply added more ice to make it look as if it was filled. The newly renovated McDonald's in my hometown is a blessing. I feel like a champ by now not having to talk to people when I order my fast food. The touch-screen kiosk is new wave stuff. Besides cutting out the unwanted communication process between the register operator and I, ordering has never been smoother. You'd have an easier time explaining black hole theories to the average cashier than telling them that you DON'T want the Quarter Pounder meal, you just want a Quarter Pounder with fries (no drink) pre-kiosk system. My friends and I (high schoolers) went into McDonalds on a Tuesday and ordered SODAS ONLY. The manager chased us out cussing because our "tables were dirty and it wasnt her job to clean up" (IT SAYS ON THE WEBSITE IT IS). We cleaned up and quietly left. I recently stopped into McDonald"s on Main Street in Wakefield, MA. Ok, now in Stage 3 in Massachusetts, it is now legal to use bathrooms and dine inside. They let us use the bathrooms. However, no dining inside was allowed. Not only was no dining allowed, but when I sat for a minute while my friend used their bathroom, the manager sternly said that sitting or even putting tray of items purchased down on table for a minute while waiting is not allowed. This morning I visted this Mc D's. I was with a few older friends who enjoy the coffee. I was horrified, this place is filthy. I'm not a huge fan of McDonalds food but I do go through the drive through sometimes to get a coffee or something just because it's convenient. I just wanted to compliment the drive through staff at the McDonald's in Wakefield MA. They are always friendly, polite and smiling, even before 7 am when most of the world is barely awake and grouchy (and I can imagine they must have had to get up at 5 am to get to work that early) Every staff member I have seen working at the drive though window has been super nice and pleasant. this is the worst mcdonalds that i have ever been to. i went to the drive through on monday night at 10:30pm just to grab a quick burger and fries after being at the er with my husband for 4 hours and missing dinner. we sat in line at the drive through for 20 minutes waiting to get to the window to take our order and there where only 4 cars in front of us! when we finally got to the window i asked what the problem was and the kids said "we only have three people working so they had me come back here to work the window" the drive through here is designed so that you can't get out of the line once you are in it so we where stuck in this line for a total of 35 minutes! read more

Very afraid to even write this review. I always have a very great experience at McDonald's the few times I come. However, my friends and I came in and got rudely yelled at by a rude cashier, Makayla for " leaving a mess" when all our trash was picked up. I believe any level job deserves respect, and we were nothing but respectful to her and she yelled at us sarcastically " thanks for the mess have a great night."
