GREAT LOCATION. After reading of the ridiculous reviews this McDonald's had, I wanted to see it for myself. First off, it's a freaking McDonald's. We know it isn't 5-star gourmet food. Anyone who thinks they're going to get that here and gives the place 3 stars becaus3 of this is a complete idiot. Location is clean and new. Looks like it was r3cently rennovated. Food came out hot and quick around 10am. The staff was friendly and chipper. My only complaint would be that it seems like the people that eat here need some happiness in their lives. Every customer walking around in this place look like a bunch of dead heads! Ronald McDonald needs to come and put a bunch of smiles on these people's faces! McDonald's - Quarter Pounder® with Cheese - Burgers Near Me - Walla Walla, Washington

I went through the drive thru this morning and ordered breakfast and an iced latte with no flavoring in it. When they read back my order, he didn't say "no flavoring" so I reminded him that was no flavoring. When I got up to the window and paid, I asked if it was no flavoring. Again the answer was "yes". When I pulled up tot the pick up window I asked again as she handed me my drink and again was told yes. I drove to work only to find out it had a sickly sweet amount of vanilla syrup in it. I couldn't drink it and I didn't have time before work to take it back so I tossed it. Waste of money. I asked four times because I've been burned before, not only at this McDonalds but other ones in the past. When I go there again for coffee, if there is another time, I'm going to stay at the pick up window and take my time putting the straw in the drink and taste it before I drive away. 9 th street McDonald's in walla walla waa. The play area is filthy 3 boys dumped a milkshake up where the kids play. The floor and the tables were dirty. Very slow and couldn't figure out how to ring in food would not recommend if you can avoid it

I often pop through the drive through here for lunch. The drive through is quite efficient and my food is nearly always correct. This is the McDonald's restaurant that is closer to work so it is the better choice as there are two McDonald's restaurants to choose from in Walla Walla. Worst customer service here. We travel the country extensively and the poor attitude and lack of customer service here is overwhelmingly the worst. No acknowledgement of customers waiting to order, at least 5 employees walked right past us. Employees will cut right in front of you at soda fountain area to fill cups and grab napkins for mobile orders waiting outside. No manners at all. Manager on duty was scooping fries and appeared to not care at all. We'll never return here, taking my $$ and business elsewhere that's appreciated. read more

Not good. Over priced Happy Meal no longer includes advertised toy. Just purchased a happy meal for mt 3 year old and she was in tears when she opened the box and no toy. Went thru the drive up and was asked if we wanted a star wars toy or Disney princess. Asked for a Disney princess. Got home and no toy. Called and they are out of the Disney toys, but McDonald's does not believe the customer needs to be told that. Instead nothing is given and we are not told that when ordering. I had to call to be told out of the princess toys. Next time I can save money and get some toys at the dollar store and go to Jack in the Box, where the service is better. There was a line of 3 cars when I got there and had to wait about 30 mins all in total just to receive and order that was incorrect. Awful service. Asked for 6 cookies and specifically asked to be fresh TWICE. Also asked for fresh coffee. What did I get? Warm burnt coffee, and 6 cookies that were nuked in the microwave instead of making them fresh. GROSS! Threw everything straight out the window. When I travel to Walla Walla, my friends and I often meet here to relax and spend some time catching up. They have great Wifi and the place is always spotless, the staff friendly and the food fresh and cooked/prepared to perfection! This McDonalds needs to take notes from the one in the Eastgate side of town. Although the restaurant is clean inside the orders constantly get messed up. Food is usually over cooked or has been sitting a while. I've expressed my concerns numerous times but things aren't taken seriously. So I have a little boy (16 months) and apparently a lot of places including here fail to want to sell me 1 pancake. On top of that I got the wrong drink and when i received the right one i asked for ice 4 times and yet still got none. When I paid I received the wrong amount. ($1.56) but got $.36 back when i tried to tell the cashier it was the wrong change she already walked away. When i told the second window they looked at me like i was an idiot. And took 5 mins just for my change. Then i received the wrong food. I let them know and 5 more mins later i still reveived the wrong order. The service was aweful. I read all the reviews below and honestly it's not that bad. It's McDonald's. If you are expecting 5 stars go to the Whitman and pay for better food and service. 1. This is usually where people start off their work history. You are gonna have teenagers serving up your food who are barely learning how to work. They are going to make mistakes. It's part of the learning process. 2. If you've never worked at a McDonald's you can just chill with your criticism because where else are people shelling out $1000+ worth of processed food in under 3 min? People are not robots. There's going to be errors. From my understanding this is the busiest McDonald's in town since it is in the middle of town. When I go in it is always clean, including the bathrooms. I've been to other McDonald's and that's not always the case. I usually go in and order inside and they bring out your food to you now which is nice. The food is warm and tasty. If it isn't, you know what I do? I walk my self over to the counter and say, "hey seems my fries got a little cold, could I have fresh ones?" They apologize and bam fresh fries! When I decide to drive through, I double check my order before I drive off. If I get parked it's fine, when it's been longer than 5 min I get out the car and go get my food. People seem to have so much entitlement these days and not enough empathy for one another. It's like you paid $10 Betty chill! This McDonald's has some friendly service, clean atmosphere, and the food is McDonald's quality. Speed is on point depending on the day. Life tip: You gotta take the good with the bad. Some of y'all should practice posting more positive reviews instead of projecting your internal strife on the internet. I normally would give McDonald's 3 stars because the food and service is nothing exceptional but I give this particular McDonald's on 9th 4 stars because I was really impressed with a young man named Roland who was very customer friendly and seemed genuinely nice and customer friendly towards everyone, I've felt like I was walking in at a more expensive restaurant when he took my order due to his kindness and him having a really friendly attitude. The food gets 3 stars but my experience with Roland alone was 5 stars and therefore I give this particular McDonald's 4 stars. read more

This is not the first bad experience I have had at this particular restaurant but by far the worst. After ordering 25 dollars worth of food for my kids and I, I was told to pull up into lane 4 to wait. After a ten minute wait a girl came up with someone else's food. Another ten minutes and I went into ask about our food. It had been given to someone else. They then tell me it will be a few more minutes for our food. They didn't know what I had had. So after reordering my meal and 25 minutes I walked out. They are incompetent, immature and wholly unprepared for working with the public. The manager was not in anyway concerned with my family's discomfort and more worried about my choice of language when I called to formally complain. This McDonald's is famous for forgetting to make small orders as they only really worry about big orders. I order a cheeseburger and a sausage egg McGriddle and that's it. I paid for my order then was asked to pull over to the waiting area while 3 cars behind me got their orders. My order did come out hot but that's only because they forgot to make it. This has happened more and more. I suggest you bypass this McDonald's. The one in East Gate Walla Walla is much better and they apologize to you if they have to have you wait and apologize when they bring you your food. read more

Would have gave it no stars but it is not an option. The stores in walla Walla have gone down hill lately. Takes forever to get your order. 30 minutes on average. The stores are getting dirtyer all the time it seems. You couldn't pay me to use the bathrooms. And then there's how I have seen the general manager of the store on 9th treat her employees. Not good. When she is there. Never seen a salaried manager so absent from their store. The food has not been good either. Out of the last 4 visits my order has been wrong every time. You can't get thru the drive thru in under 30 minutes. And if you go inside you get ignored by the employees. Really disappointing. This is my first and last time at this McDonald's location the fries: unsalted and cold af, we did not receive one of our drinks that were supposed to come in our meals, some of our sandwiches were squished at the bottom of the bag and I got the most awful looking wrap, I sincerely think a two year old could have done better. Now I realize this is not a five star restaurant but they should still at least try a little.
