I come to this McDonald's all the time and every time I'm outraged. When I say I want sauce I expect to get sauce. The people who work here have terrible attitude problems. Not friendly nor helpful at all. I waited over 20 minutes for an iced coffee that was not made properly. Never got an apology and had the coffee slammed on the counter after it was corrected. They do keep the restaurant very clean though. read more

I have been going to this McDonalds for the past 25 years and has served me well. The food is always hot and the service is good. I have never had an order screwed up and you would expect it with the amount of orders they process in a given day. The restaurant is clean and that's what I expect when I'm dining out. read more

Not a bad place. It was clean and organized. Food was good but I felt like I was being rushed at the counter when I was making my order.

My wallet was either taken out of my pocketbook or left in the restaurant I left my phone number and called for 2 weeks straight not until I told whoever I talked to over and over again that I went to the police station did lo and behold I went in Natick just off of whim today two weeks later and my wallet appeared. They never seem to care I was very upset losing a social security card and personal information I left my number they had my number and still never called me I will never ever go back to this McDonald's on Wantagh avenue I believe in employee stole my money out of the card and only after I told them I called the police did they bring the wallet back.the bald-headed manager that serve me is an idiot... Ever since this location got redone I have never enjoyed it more. The staff is incredibly nice opposed to past staff where they were nasty and rushed you out of their faces. tonight was a great experience with my family of five. my wife ordered a large fries with ranch, it was excellent. my youngest son got a salad with extra raunch and hold salad and it was great. my younger sons both got mcflurrys and were pretty good. the experience went down hill when they asked what gender my son was, and they wouldn't give me a choice for the happy meal of both gogurnt and organic apple slices. but to help the they played my daughters favorite song~five seconds of summer. all around great experience definitely would come again. ps. the ranch is superior here read more

Have put up with incorrect orders and sometimes rude people at the drive through but last night was my last time i will ever buy anything at this McDonalds. Waited on line for 20 minutes at the drive thru only to see a barely legible sign that was changed to say that the speaker was broken and you place your order at the final window. This meant at least 40 more minutes to get my food. As I learned later' it was the shift manager who scratched off next and sort of wrote 2nd meaning last window. Never said anything about the problem to anyone on line. When I tried to explain how they should have someone explaining what was going on-they got nasty. Had trouble getting staff to tell shift manager I needed to talk to her-she was just rude. When i asked when the overall manager woild be in. They said he's in the basement and he wants it this way. So when i left i explained the situation to the last six cars and they all got off line. Then mr macho employee who said they couldnt have anyone outside explaining or a better sign at the start of the line came out screaming at me to get away from the drive thru line which i was already doing, of course they forgot some of my order and the fries were ice cold, Have been going to this McDonalds for over 40 years, long for the good old days when the Carey family ran the show, plan on spreading the word read more

Went to the drive thru. I asked the girl "Which Incredibles toys do you have today?" (since I am trying to get them all and am 2 short.) She replied, "Edna and Jack Jack." I said, "Do you know which Jack Jack you have?" And her answer was "No."..........that's it.....no follow up, nothing....just a straight no. To which I was silent for about a minute bc I was in shock. The proper response would normally be no but let me check, etc. So I then said, "Well can you look bc it will effect what I order depending on what you have." To which it took her literally 5 seconds to come back and tell me which one. How hard was that?? Then I go to the first window where my credit card is practically snatched out of my hand by a guy who doesn't even say anything at all........I was just blown away by the customer service (and not in a good way)......its a shame bc I had started going to this one instead of the one in massapequa, but maybe I'll start heading that way again. read more

I worked there a few years ago and would just like to give my two cents. The staff back then was awful; rude to customers and especially young, first-time employees like me. I was treated like dirt. I can't speak for the staff now, but back then it was awful. Hunt Enterprises really dropped the ball. The training was terrible, and in my 5 months I didn't even learn how to use the fancy coffee machine. Everything behind the counter and outside of the view of the customer was unsanitary, and the towel system we used to clean counters and tables was entirely unsafe--talk about breeding ground for bacteria. Run out of clean towels? Just pull a dirty one out of the mucky, black-water bucket and reuse that. Anyway, Ricky, Simon, Kiersten, and Morgan were pretty great. Everyone else made my life miserable. Especially you, female-boss-who-I-can't-remember-the-name-of-at-the-time. I hope you know on your 21st birthday a few of the guys made fun of you for looking in your mid 30's. This has to be the worst McDonald's on Long Island. Every time I go there they always, always forget to put something in the bag. Tonight we went through the drive through and asked for a #1 Big Mac Combo, no pickles on the Big Mac. Simple. Right? Not for them. We actually got 1/2 a big mac. We go one patty on 3 pieces of bread with some lettuce. Then after ordering chicken nuggets they always ask "any sauce with that" we answer yes. BUT THEY NEVER EVER PUT THE SAUCES IN THE BAG. You have to ALWAYS ask for it at the window along with the napkins they never put in the bag. The car in front of us was screaming at the worker because they forgot something, didn't give sauces and ketcup. OMG this McDonald's is a NIGHTMARE!!!! And the fries are always cold and the cartons are always only 1/2 filed. I try to go to the McDonald's in Bethpage/Levittown because they are awesome but sometimes when I am on Sunrise Highway it is just easier to go to the Wantagh McD's. Maybe the managers and owners of the Wantagh McDonalds should talk to the Bethpage/Levittown managers and owner (If the owners are different) and inquire as to how to run a proper establishment. read more
