Cleanliness: better than most and the restaurant was cheerfully decorated for Spring. Staff: every Mickey D's everywhere is always understaffed and hiring. Starting wage is $9.50/hr now. The worker was SO rude and hostile. She RAISED her voice at me and sounded SO condescending. Not to mention the mean looks she kept giving to every person she talked to. The fries were cold and flavorless, and the nuggets were dry. I am honestly so disappointed. USUALLY the workers are at LEAST polite, but the lady from today was anything BUT that. I will NOT be coming back. This place does not have a welcoming atmosphere. I had a Big Mac here, probably the third one in a few months, not all at this location, but this one was like the others, a soupy mess. The center bun slides out along with the pickles, while eating it. The extra sauce they put on now literally liquifies the processed cheese. The lettuce is bigger chunks than the style used years back, and wilted out in the runny sauce.The top bun is smaller too, which helps that center bun slide out! The secret sauce is different now, cheaper, runny texture and sweeter and some strange spice added. These are corporate changes, not really blaming employees, cause the Big Mac is bad in all the McDs! It's sad I can no longer anticipate a Big Mac anymore like I used to know. Called and asked if they wear hair nets while preparing food and was told by Manager Nicole thats hats are sufficient. No Hair Nets on any employees. There are a few problems with this McDonald's and I wish they would fix it: 1. The Drive thru folks, in an effort to get their measured times down, clear out the orders before they actually give you the food. So when I pull up, they usually ask me what I ordered...two times I've received the wrong food and drinks because of this. I've asked them not to do that, but they just look at me. 2. Drive thru ordering can be difficult to begin with, but when the person doesn't speak English that well, it makes it even more difficult. 3. I can't help but believe there is a strong bias in hiring a particular race here. I don't know if they realize that there are other folks of different races that live in the area, such as black and white folks. It would be nice to see some diversity in the folks that work here. I cannot begin to explain my irritation with the service I've received EVERY time I go to this particular McDonald's. Luckily for McDonald's corporation it's a franchised location. I don't even know where to begin. The people they have taking the orders in the drive-thru can hardly understand english. EVERY order I've gotten has been incomplete. I would understand if I were ordering 15 items. I ordered a cheeseburger, fry, and a ranch snackwrap and there was no snackwrap to be found. You can bet it was there on the receipt though! I love spending $1.20 on invisible food! Another lovely experience I had there was when I had a buy one get one coupon for breakfast sandwiches (even though it was 6am and they STILL didn't have the breakfast menu up), which I explained while making the order. I get to the window to pay and the employee tells me, "oh, we don't take those coupons." Me- "Why? I'm pretty sure it say McDonald's right at the top." Employee- "Well we don't. You'll have to pay for both sandwiches." Me- "Are you guys a franchised location or something?" Employee- "Yes." Me- "Can I speak with the manager?" Employee- "I am the manager." Me- "Well then you have the authority to make decisions regarding coupons, correct?" Employee- "Yes." Me- "So you're saying that you won't honor a coupon for a sandwich costing $1.59?" Employee- "No." Me- "Fine. Take the $1.59, but you've just lost a few very frequent customers and I hope your franchise owners don't make the same poor decisions you just did." Where to start, with out a doubt the worst McDonald's I have been to, actually I have never had a bad experience at any other McDonald's. I live in Warrenville and go here often. But without fail the French fries are only filled 2/3 . The drinks have 2/3 ice and the burgers are usually cold. McDonald's corporation should visit here. read more

This location is finishing up with an expensive remodel which was long overdue. We were hoping that during this remodel that the Coke dispenser and equipment in the lobby would be either replaced for fixed as the Coke tasked nasty almost every time. Each time I reported this issue in the past (for the past 3 years), the management almost always blamed the water as this location uses well water. If that were the case, the drive thru would be experiencing the same issue - it does not. I also live within a few blocks of this location on the same water supply and I don't have water taste issues. I know that the issue is not a mixing issue as there are only 3 ingredients being mixed at the machine (water, syrup and CO2). This bad taste is NOT any one of these. I suspect either bad cleaning, something foreign in the lines, bad filter, or something like that. I reported this to corporate and management this week (again) but it doesn't sound like they are putting any priority in getting this fixed. They claimed that all the equipment and lines were changed during the remodel. Somehow I don't think so. Still looks like the old machine but decor changed around it to make it look new. Please McDonald's management, franchise owner and corporate - fix this issue. read more

Meant to do this a while back and didn't so I am now. The manager of this location came running out into the dinning room in front of all the dinners at 11:45 in the morning and said I was stealing his pop. I had just had lunch, went to the car came back and topped my drink off with ice and was walking out and he got in my way. I told him I had proof I got it there and I was insulted and he was wrong and ignorant and crazy for telling people that they cannot refill their drinks. Won't EVER go back again. What an insult. Pure dump, in relation to all other McDonalds, and it has been for years. Clearly the owners of this location do not care. If the bathrooms and dining area are this bad, I can only imagine how gross the kitchen is. Wifi stinks, blown speakers in the ceiling so you get to listen to crackling music, bathrooms are worse than an old gas stations, freezing inside, etc. I don't know how it passes ANY sort of corporate inspection, assuming there is one. read more
