Cora's by day, Evolet Eve's at night! Warrenville definitely needed exactly this. A coffee shop that turns into a wine and cocktail lounge? BRILLIANT. The spot itself is decorated beautifully. Indoor and out, this was very well thought out. It is a cute yet sophisticated place to grab coffee (or adult drinks), get some work done, or meet up with a few friends and just enjoy. The outdoor patio is beauuuuutiful. If you look at photos before it was a patio, wowwwww. It needed a lot of TLC and that is exactly what it got. I stopped in during a weekday morning and asked the staff member what was the most popular coffee drink. She said it was the amaretto latte which I did end up ordering. This is probably the only coffee place that carries amaretto syrup. My advice? Get it, you might not be able to try it anywhere else. It's nutty, sweet and delicious. Prices are on the higher side, however, it's a small and locally owned coffee shop. I might be wrong but this might actually be the only small and locally owned coffee shop in Warrenville. The drinks are really good and the patio on a sunny day or evening is quite nice. Loved the service too. Drinks came quickly. I also forgot my sunglasses and they let us sit at a 4-seated table instead of a 2 on a Fri evening, just so I could have some shade for my eyes. My only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 star is because I really wish they served food for dinner beyond cheese and crackers. read more

Came on a Saturday for coffee and the vendor selling sourdough bread. I had the mocha coffee with almond milk served hot. Very creamy and delicious. They also have teas and hot chocolate available. They brought the coffee out to us on their patio and they clean it up after you are done. Lots of parking spaces available. Pretty small inside but love the decor. They have a large outside seating available on their patio in front. It was nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Each table had its own umbrella. read more

I think I found my new favorite way to drink wine"slushy" style. It was absolutely refreshing and a perfect way to start and end the summer. Last night was the last day of their slushees offering and starting tomorrow they will have new wine offerings to warm you up including star aníses, orange slices added to wine, and hot chocolate. The owner is friendly and inviting, her wine shop is intimate and chic but also kids-friendly, with a little play area for kids and some games and puzzles for all ages. You can also BYOF (bring your own food) inside to eat along with your wine. My ladies and I brought along some Thai takeout and deep dish pizza. It was the perfect place and environment for us to us to catch up, lend support through this crazy year, and celebrated our life stories. I love supporting local business and especially women-owned businesses. Be sure to stop by and check this place out if you're in the area! This place is an A+! I especially love one side of the wall where it displayed a cool "mom juice" wall art. It's really a sanctuary for all mommies, ladies, and anyone wine-lovers alike. There is an outdoor patio seating area for summer seatings with string lights and heaters for the fall. Many options and fitting to smaller groups (recommend coming with 1-2 other friends at this time to keep it spacious for social distancing). What a gem this wine shop is! I went with friends recently and sat outside. The patio furniture is so comfortable I felt like we could have been there for hours ha! It's also beautifully landscaped. I started with their frosé - they had two different flavors. It was very sweet (as expected) and very refreshing. I switched then to a red wine flight. They are pretty unique in that you describe which wines you do and do not like and they build you a flight. I thought it was a lot of fun and all the wines were delicious. The missing star is only because the prices were a tad higher than anticipated but that's certainly not going to stop me from coming back! My first visit and it will not be my last! :) read more

From the moment I walked through the door, I was shocked: Evolet Eve exudes all the charm, quirk, and personality of a small business with a classic and cozy visage. My first visit was to get a wine slush (highly recommend the watermelon when it's available), which I enjoyed with a friend on their patio. Evolet Eve has one of the best locations, in my opinion, in Warrenville, and it's in big part due to the fabulous patio. The service was excellent, and we had a great time enjoying the sun & slush before rejoining the fun of Summer Daze. My second trip was with my wife, and I had the great pleasure of meeting Mo--the proprietor. Mo wants everyone to have a wonderful experience, and I think others would agree that her personal touch is evident throughout the business. We were there on a Friday night and there was wine tasting for any guest who wanted to participate. I was a little disappointed tonight. I have been to Evolet only a few times in the past, and in the past I've never had an issue. Tonight I went there to enjoy a glass of wine outside on this beautiful summer like night. Unfortunately, we never received service other than water. I understand they were busy but several tables that came after us had their orders in and drinks in hand. A table next to us was asked about several refills, but we did not even get to put a drink order in. We were there for approximately 40 mins prior to leaving. Absolutely loved my first visit to this wine shop in little downtown Warrenville. The owner is winsome and welcoming, and is obviously passionate about wine. The shop has a retail area stocked with wines for every price range, as well as a wine bar that serves wine by the glass, flights of wine, craft beers, ciders, and even wine slushies. Most glasses of wine range from 9.50 to 12.50. The shop sells small bites -- cheeses, pretzels, popcorn -- but one of my favorite parts is that it's a BYOF establishment. My friends and I enjoyed glasses of Red Blend Substance, as well as a wine flight. Outdoor seating is available, as well as trendy indoor seating. Everything is so well done. We were so excited to try this business for a date night last weekend. The patio was super busy but we were able to snag a table in the corner and enjoy the hot, but beautiful evening. We ordered a house Merlot and house Syrah. When they were brought out we asked the waitress for information on the pour. She said she didn't know anything about them since she didn't see the bottle. Enjoying ourselves we ordered another round. A different waitress brought them out, and again when we asked for information about them, we were told she didn't know. The second round was very different from the first. All pours tasted good, but at $13.50 a glass I was disappointed that the staff wasn't able to at least tell us who the wineries were. Caution if you sit on the sidewalk side of the patio; the smokers have to leave the patio to smoke so they walk over to the sidewalk and light up next to the fence so they can still talk to their friends. The second hand smoke was not pleasant. read more

The ambiance is the first thing you notice when you walk in--the eclectic music that speaks to my soul because I'm from "THAT" generation of deeply good music is going to be the main reason you'll want to stay longer. You'll be sucking down your drinks too, because they're so delicious. I had their old fashioned, and it was exceptionally well made. The decor was fun and whimsical and elegant all at the same time. Many plants adorn their large window area. The ladies that took care of me were positively radiant with their fun personalities and their smiles never faltered. I sat at a high top table near the snacks that were available for purchase and that's not usually my go to but my party met there. It was much more comfortable than I could've imagined. There is a separate lounging area where there were cozy couches and a few laid back patrons were enjoying their after dinner/early evening drinks. The weather didn't really call for an outdoor patio visit, but it looked rather inviting regardless.
